So I started with 3 dosi and 3 banana, but I managed to kill 4 out of 6... Now in week 2 of flower it seems like 1 of each survived. Then I added a dr grinspoon and a strawberry and an orange. Except for the grinspoon all were PROMO SEEDS Barney's sent me! So thx again!
This is where the deficiencies started, I wasn't sure what was happenning, but the problem is mostly sorted.
My previous grows I was overfeeding them a bit so I was too cautious I guess.
today 28th of april is the end of the 2nd week of flower. Last picture I took today.
So top row is Oranga-Strawberry-Grin
Bottom row is dosi and banana, not sure which one's which though...:D
bottom left is getting better, rest look really nice imo. Too bad that Dr. Grinspoon has something like a 14 week flowering time.... hahaha anyway it's an interesting strain I wanted to try out.
did some supercropping, some nodes grew too tall. Looking good so far.
Found out after like 2 years of growing in coco, that I'm not supposed to let it go dry...
ordered some stands, and a siphon so I will have some runoff, and will be able to deal with it as well, as I want to keep the coco moist all the time.
Will have to water more frequently, I guess I'll be at least doubling the amount of water, so I will give nutes at half their current value.
I'm still not 100% sure which one's which but I guess the dosi has such thick hairs.... worth the zoom in, looks sick!:D
okay, I was a bit confused with the dates uploading the diary, put these pics and video in week 4 of flower yesterday...
last pictures and video are at day 33F
they got dense bud compactor this week except the grinspoon...
dense you have to use once in the last 3 weeks of flower each, minus the flush. so week 5-6-7 of flower.
grin will get it at 11-12-13....:D:D
Had an interesting week...
Found an intruder! Was chilling on one of the spoon's leaves not far away from the spot where it had it's last supper.
checked runoff ppm and it was wayyyy too high... up in the 13-15 hundreds, so I was just flushing them all week, no nutes.
After first flush runoff ppm got like 20% lower.
Will start feeding them lightly soon.
nothing special this week, they're coming along nicely.
finished flushing and gave them a half value feed, and I am wartering them more frequently.
should be 2-3 weeks left, probably 3
Close to the finish line, will hit them with dense one more time then I will start flushing.
You might notice a newcomer in there, I put an auto in the tent behind the strawberry.
Dosi leaves are turning yellow before the others, looking pretty:D
Almost done, so excited!:D
they got their last dense treatment, so the flushing begins and at the end of next week it's time to chop:D
tried to take a shot of the dosi in full, but the quality was bad... anyways you can check it
Harvested on day 67 of flower
The conditions for drying were not so great... humidity was around 40%, temp was like 22-26 celsius. It's summer... Don't have the means to do proper drying.
Anyway they all smell nice, jarred them up and the curing starts.
The yields are a bit disappointing... I thought they'd be more but at least they turned out nice.
Strawberry and orange I grew before, and this time around they came out wayyyy better.
So all in all I am happy, but gonna have to figure something out about the drying process...
The pictures are pretty bad quality and misleading, hard to tell the difference between the buds, they kinda look the same in the pics. They look different up close and personal:D
