Let both seeds soak for about 5 hours in a glass of water then used the paper towel and zip lock bag technique for about 24 hours and both tap roots split the seeds so i popped them into the soil with a very light watering around the area. Also put half water bottles with some slits in it on top of seed sight. Using Roots organic original soil in 5gal smartpots.
2 day update- Both seeds popped out of the soil and I helped them out a bit by popping the membrane and seed of them. It was a rainy day here so not much sunlight for them today. I’ve kept them just under a normal light and when I could give them sun I would. Wish they could of got some more sun today would of been good for them.
The #2 seedling I’m going to be trying rapid start on her just to compare to #1. Today I mixed 1/4 a ml of rapid start with two liters of water and put it in spray bottle and missed it into the soil. I used a very tiny amount Bc Ik I should wait till more growth but I’m experimenting. Also gave about a cap full on the site of the seedling.
At this stage I’m still watering with a spray bottle once the first set of leaves start I think I’ll start watering without one. I’m lightly misting the soil and inside the cups on top of them every 3 or four hours to keep humidity up.
Day 3- both seeds have there first set of leaves showing. I left them over night under two 1000lm light bulbs. Today they are getting all the sunshine.
Anyone know what the light spots may be from on plant #2 I noticed this spot on the bigger leaf closest to the tip about a week ago now seeing lightly other ones showing up. Maybe calmag?
Start of week 3. Going to be giving #2 some cal mag see if it helps with those spots I’m seeing.
Day-16 both plants starting to push out a lot of new growth from the top of the plant.
Day-18. day 17, 18, and 19 having bad weather all day so no sunlight just heavy rain. Really not a good time. I’ve been keeping them inside under a small light.
Since day 18 they haven’t got much sun been raining so much. Had them outside and a rain storm came in they were in it for about 10 min and soil got completely flooded had them inside under a light. #2 is just about to start transitioning can see very tiny white hairs starting to form by next week thin she will rlly start. #1 seems to be just behind #2 but is bigger. Both plants cotyledon leaves are just starting to yellow. I think with the heavy rain flushed the soil plus it’s nearing the end to how much nutes are in it. I gave both 1/4 of GH Trio. Soil was still moist so I only gave 1 liter each.
Alright day 30 plant # two seems like it went into preflower and is now starting to pop seeds. Is it herming? may be stressed there was a lot of rain and not good sunlight this whole week both plants got flushed out by rain water few times. Plant one seems to be ok not as stressed as two.
Day 35- both plants doing good and are in flower I gave a tiny bit of nutes and started getting a little toxicity but flushed with 6.5 water. Im just going to give a tiny bit of kool bloom every mother feeding seems like any base nutes I give it reacts to.
There’s been great sunlight past two days they already look better. I gave some nutes today- 2ml calmag, .5micro .5 koolbloom ph at 6.5
Day 40- Weather has been rainy a bit still so getting them as much light when they are able to get it. Plus haven’t watered them it rained and flushed them out a little and they seemed to like it. All the nute burn is from when I gave a tiny bit of nutes. I’d think this soil would need a boost of nutes but I guess it doesn’t. I’m not sure or these plants are very sensitive.
