Hello to all my fellow growers. This diary won't be quite as scientific as some, more like a guerrilla grow. I have grown a few times before, once in northern Michigan and twice when I was out in Cali. Both times I used bag seeds and my success was average. I am back in Michigan now and weed is legal so I am putting a bit more effort into it. I am starting my grow inside and will move my plants outside when the weather permits and use pots so I can move them around and put them under cover when the weather gets bad.
I am starting the seeds in Miracle Grow potting soil. I read that this isn't good for the entire life as the nutrients are time release and would be bad for the flowering stage of the grow. I am going to get some neutral soil and use nutrients as required. The soil won't be high priced, I am trying to keep this simple and keep costs down. I know there are others who would appreciate a success story without having to be a professional grower. We'll see how it goes, hope for the best, I am. 😎
My lights are inexpensive led lights. They work fine as I will be moving the plants outside and I was able to give my mexhaze plant a good start while the snow was still on the ground. Mexhaze has a long flowering phase and the season is short here. I will top the mexhaze next week and start getting it some time outside in about two weeks. The autoflower plants will be mostly under the lights for the first month. The last frost around here can be as late as June 10th.
I will keep everyone updated on my progress. 😎
Looking great man! They are beautiful. With the greenhouse and some autos you will love it more during cold months. There are some great strains out there that love the cold. For example Berryblue i grew can not be done in the summer. She will get loose buds with very little growth if you plant it in to much heat. Such an amazing thing!
Greetings from Russia! Your plants look great! Keep developing in the same spirit! If you are interested in watching the adventures of weed in Russia, then subscribe to my diary
