This is the start of week 2. Plants are still inside as the weather isn't cooperating yet. Having another cold snap, it's going to be in the 30's for the next four days or so, and the forecast is calling for some light snow tonight. Man, it's May! Had a 60 degree day last Friday, tomorrow the high is suppose to be 33. I have a project going, building a small greenhouse, should be done by the end of the month. I'll post some pics when it's done.
The plants are doing well. The Candy Kush are stretching more than the Northern Lights but not bad enough to worry about. I keep a fan going the give the stalks some strength. The CK are at 2.5 inches and the NL are at 1.5 inches. I had one CK seed that did not sprout. Growers Choice Seeds has a guarantee. I have two more of each strain that I will start after the new moon this month so I will wait to see if the last four sprout then I will contact Growers Choice. I'll keep everyone posted on that too.
The Mexican Haze plant is doing well, I topped it 6 days before I took the pictures. The topping slowed it down but that's ok, I can't transplant and move it outside for a while yet. The other plant is a bag seed I germinated after the Mazar seed failed to germinate. I have no idea what it is, it is from a bag I had about 3 years ago. I FIMed it the same day I topped the MH. I have never done this before, I hope I did it right. Maybe someone can let me know how it looks to them. The plant is doing well too. I added some nutrients to the MH and BS. The brand is Expert Gardener, a Walmart brand, and is very high in nitrogen and potassium. I went very light on the mix, I mean very light, I'll strengthen the mix as the plants mature. I'll put more information on the nutrients and soil later in the diary.
That's it for now. Enjoy and keep growing. 😎
Looking great man! They are beautiful. With the greenhouse and some autos you will love it more during cold months. There are some great strains out there that love the cold. For example Berryblue i grew can not be done in the summer. She will get loose buds with very little growth if you plant it in to much heat. Such an amazing thing!
Greetings from Russia! Your plants look great! Keep developing in the same spirit! If you are interested in watching the adventures of weed in Russia, then subscribe to my diary
