The first seed of Critical Automatic did not germinate, so I planted another seed of the same strain and it germinated after 6 days!! The Jack had some problems with the separation of the seed from the cotyledons, pulled it away and now it looks healthy! At the moment there's one CFL 45 W (Real Wattage) at 5500k

The Jack looks pretty healthy and is growing some nice leaves, at the moment no nutrients, just some watering. The new Critical has successfully germinated but it's stretching a little bit. Put another cfl 45w 5500k

The Jack is doing a good job, started with some nutrients. The Critical is also growing but it seems a little strange, can't stand if it's genetic or if it has something to do with overheating problems. Still no nutrients. With the second Cfl the temperatures rise pretty much during the day, sometimes they go up to 32°C, looking for a solution.

# Layout variations: I replaced the CFL above the first plant with a smaller CFL 20W 2700K, this solved the overheating issues. Now the Led Strips are at maximum power (24 W together), being on the walls of the growbox they help a bit on lighting the lower branches . I'm thinking about buying a couple of Led bulbs of 20-30W (power drain) each and put them where the Cfls are when the Critical will get to flowering. I also made a variation on the Light Schedule: The CFL's schedule is about 17-18 hours a day, while the Led Strips runs for 20 hours (1,5 before and 1,5 after the CFL's ) # Royal Jack Automatic The Royal Jack had some serious stretching during this week so I applied some LST and Defoliation. Some flowers are popping out and the smell intensified a bit, started giving some Bloom Booster. The plant looks pretty small but healthy, I don't really expect a big harvest due to the 3.8L pot. # Royal Critical Automatic The Critical is also stretching a bit, it's about 15cm tall, I tried to apply some LST but it wasn't a very successful attempt, I will give it another try next week. There are some imperfections on the leaves that i think are related to genetics and 3-4 brown spots which I guess could be lightburns (not sure). At the moment it's getting only Grow Booster, next week we'll probably see some nice flowers. Considering that this is my first growing experience I am satisfied with the results so far 😄

Layout update The new LED bulb's arrived and I replaced the CFL's with therm, now the temperature is no more an issue, the humidity is around 60%, which is ok at the moment, but i have no idea how to decrease it as the flowering stage progresses. Royal Jack Automatic The Jack is in the middle of the flowering stage, this week had some stretching but it is slowing down. I made some defoliation, maybe too much, it's not showing any signal of suffering, so i think it's ok. I'm pretty worried about the claw leaves on the flowers at the top of the plant, I read it could be an excess of Nitrogen. The main concern I have is that before i recognized the issue i put some coffee grounds in the soil and this is probably going to worse things. Now I'm only giving Bloom Tablets, I'll wait and see if the problem spreads or stops 😟 On the bright side I can tell that there are some nice buds that are growing and i can also spot trichomes through the leaves 😍 Royal Critical Atumatic The Critical is doing well, she stretched during the week and had some LST, the little weirdo is showing some mutation on its leaves and is ready to get in the flowering stage. I already started with a mix of growing and bloom booster, no issues until now. I think that I'm not going to make so much defoliation as I made on the Jack so I can see which is the best way to go 😀 This has been an intense week, I am still learning how to do things the right way, sometimes it is to do nothing. Just keep it simple. I'm happy 😁

Royal Jack Automatic: We are in the middle of flowering, the streching stopped and the smell is constantly becaming stronger. This week has been challenging, I was worried about the overfertilization of Nitrogen, so I reduced the nutrient, the result has been a spred of the nutrients burns and a yellowing of some fan leaves, I'm really confused. Despite all of this problems the Jack didn't seem to give a fuck and kept growing flowers and many trichomes!! 😎😍 Royal Crtical Automatic: The Critical is definitely in the flowering stage, it looks pretty solid and bushy, I started to giving it only bloom nutrients. The plant is about 20 cm tall, it had some LST this week. I expect a big stretching during next week, maybe I will make a small defoliation to improve air recycling. I am really proud of this plant 😁

Noticed claw leaves and purple stem, identified Nitrogen overfert, also had some tips burnt Once I reduced the nutrients some leaves turned yellow, at the same time the burns spread Flushed the soil with ph balanced water and stopped nutes What should I do now?
Solved
Leaves. Tips - Burnt
Leaves. Curl down
Plant. Stem - Red or purple

looks like you had a nitrogen abundance for sure! Flushing was a good choice. Make sure to start feeding with a lower (very low) dose of nitrogen after the flush BUT you have also flushed all the other nutrients than nitrogen. Meaning: Leaves turning yellow after the flush would be quite a fast reaction (from nitrogen abundance to nitrogen deficiency) Its more likely that you have washed out all of the magnesium and the plant suffers from a magnesium deficiency. (Symptoms are almost the same as nitrogen deficiency) I would recommend adding some extra CalMag + feeding with half amount of nitrogen that you've used before. If all the leaves turn pale green (although you've been feeding extra CalMag) you can consider raising the amount of nitrogen again until you've found the sweet spot for nitrogen.

Royal Jack Automatic: This week has been pretty tricky for this one, I tried to recover from the Nitrogen overfertilization and got a PH Lockout (Murphy's Law is never wrong) 😅 This little girl has been badly mistreated, but she shown some real strenght and resilience 💪 Some fan leaves are turning yellow but i thing it is because we're almost there 😎 Trichomes are more or less 20% transparent 70% white 10% amber (on the top flowers), I started with the flush and I think i'm going to make some progressive harvest starting from next week. Let me know what do you think about it 😄 Royal Critical Automatic: This girl is growing nicely, it's not stretching so much, i think it is a little late with the flowering stage, she's being fed with a nice dose of nutes and had some LST. She is very bushy so I think I'm going to defoliate her as soon as she start to pop out some trichomes 👽
