Week 12 - White WIdow Auto All measurements are per 1L of water Day 78 (Flower Day 50) - Week 12 is here! So I've made preprations for dyring and curring the Critical Jack Herer outside the tent in a climate controlled closet. The digial microscope i bought did arrive and i checked all over CJH top, middle, lower cola's and flowers and they are mostly cloudy. She's not gotten any bigger in weeks as well. I also took a tiny nug from one of her lower cola's halfway down that's flower. Which is quite low on her. Most of the digital pictures are from that. So you can see the development of even her least developed flowers. I also vaped it and although it took a high temperature to do it, it came off pretty smooth, no chemical taste, just a little 'fresh'. The mood elevator was great and lasted 4 1/2 hours. So i feel confident in starting a week long flush. The other ladies, Purple Punch is about 3-4 weeks to go atleast, the White Widow and Gelato #33 maybe another 1-2 weeks befure their turn to flush. I plan to chop the CJH on saturday which makes for a 6 day flush which i feel comfortable about given her quality already. The feeds are split up now between the PP/WW/G33 and CJH. So without further ado the feed for the PP/WW/G33 is as follows: Water EC 0.2 added CaMg to 0.5 EC / 1.7mL A / 1.7mL B / 1.0mL Cannazyme / 1.5mL Boost for a total of EC 1.3 and PH 6.5 (note Rhizotonic has been removed) ////// The feed for Critical Jack Herer as follows: water 0.2 EC added 1.5mL Cannazyme for a EC of 0.4 and PH 6.4 Day 79 (Flower Day 51) - Busy day for me so just the feed report: feed for the PP/WW/G33 is as follows: Water EC 0.2 added CaMg to 0.5 EC / 1.7mL A / 1.7mL B / 1.0mL Cannazyme / 1.5mL Boost for a total of EC 1.3 and PH 6.3 (note Rhizotonic has been removed) ////// The feed for Critical Jack Herer as follows: water 0.2 EC added 1.3mL Cannazyme for a EC of 0.4 and PH 6.5 Day 80 (Flower Day 52) - The purple punch is really getting top heavy, She's starting to get her lean on. My 1 meter long stakes arent nearly long enough for her so i'm going to have to figure something else out for her. Was a very humid and hot day today so been battling that to keep temps and humidity down in the tent. Luckily only a few more days to go for the CJH so once she's out of there things should start getting more manageable. Feed today for the CJH flush was as follows: Water 0.2 EC added 1.0mL for a final reading of EC 0.3 and PH 6.5 (4 liters). /// For the PP/WW/G33 the following feed: Water 0.2 EC added CaMg to 0.5 EC / 1.7mL A / 1.7mL B / 1.0mL Cannazyme / 2.0mL Boost for a final reading of EC 1.4 and PH 6.4 Day 81 (Flower Day 53) - A few days late so here are the next 4 days that i missed of updates. I notice some discoloration on the very tops of the sugar leaves of PP/CJH/WW, it kind of looks like either too much Magnesium or Phosphorus (or lockout). I'm going to be stopping the CaMg as its close enough to harvest that i feel they'll all be ok. Also I'm lowering the feed of the PP/WW/G33 down quite a bit in preparation for the flush to come. Feed today was as follows for the CJH Flush: Water 0.2 EC / 1mL Cannazyme to EC 0.3 & PH 6.5 //// PP G33 WW feed as follows: Water 0.2 EC / 1.5mL A / 1.5mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 1.5mL Boost / PH 6.4 and EC 1.2 Day 82 (Flower Day 54) - Preparations for the CJH harvest, will do on saturday. Feed was the same as yesterday: CJH Flush: Water 0.2 EC / 1mL Cannazyme to EC 0.3 & PH 6.4 //// PP G33 WW feed as follows: Water 0.2 EC / 1.5mL A / 1.5mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 1.5mL Boost / PH 6.3 and EC 1.1 Day 83 - (Flower Day 55) - Feed was the same as yesterday: CJH Flush: Water 0.2 EC / 1mL Cannazyme to EC 0.3 & PH 6.5 //// PP G33 WW feed as follows: Water 0.2 EC / 1.5mL A / 1.5mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 1.5mL Boost / PH 6.4 and EC 1.2 Day 84 (Flower Day 56) - Harvest!!!!!! Wow what a day its been! So i chopped down my lovely Critical Jack Herer and I couldnt be happier with her. She was a real champ! Infact i've even bought more of the exact same seeds for a future grow (way in the future). I wont be doing wet weight as I dont see any point in it whatsoever, I will be certain however to weight once the dry is complete. The idea is to dry for 4-7 days (whenever the twig branches have a nice 'snap' sound) then they'll be de-stemmed, weighed, and go into the jars for the curing process. Luckily the humidity is perfect right now mid to high 50's with a temperature of 80f / 26.6c which puts the dew point at a safe level. I have recirculating air as well from a low powered oscillating fan. I got up at 8am to start cutting and didnt finish until 10pm at night (i took a few hours breaks in total). My first time trimming and after awhile you kind of hit your stride. I did notice that the beginning of the wet trim was MUCH easier than the last 4-5 hours or so as they leaves were all starting to wilt and turn inward which made trimming much more difficult. So lesson here is once you chop, trim immediately if you're going for a wet trim. Once the flowers are dry i'll be sure to add a 'harvest' section with the dry weight. I dont want to do it yet as i heard from others you cant go back and edit it later so i want to be sure to include the dry weight there. - As for the 3 other ladies they are doing well. The extra room was dearly needed and they've suffered from not being able to spread out as much as they like (another lesson learned). The Purple Punch is getting so top heavy that she's really starting to fall over, however i dont have 3 meter long stakes for her so I took about 10 large zip ties and fashioned them into one larve one to kind of keep her top half together from falling over ontop of the White Widow and Gelato#33 - I tried spreading out the White Widow and Gelato as well and added stakes to the Gelato to help her stya up as well (now witht he extra room she's falling over too). Going forward I'd like to harvest them all at the same time now that they arent too far apart. So i'll be monitoring the Purple Punch and doing it that way. -- The Feed for the PP/WW/G33 today was as follows (also last of my boost so no more going forward): Water 0.2 EC / 1.0mL A / 1.0mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 3mL Boost / PH 6.4 and EC 1.0

Hello. I'm not expert by all means but from my past 10 or so auto plants I've already grew i can give you some tips. Firstly I don't feed my plants at all for first 3-4 weeks, they just don't need it. Secondly its great you plant them straight in big pots, how I water young plants is half by "logic" and half of it is eyeballed. For 3 weeks just look at your seedling and imagine what you see over the soil surface, you roughly have twice as much roots underneath. That's why for first 7 days i water my plant twice a day with around 100ml water each time. From second week she's getting around 250-300ml once a day. In third week she's getting 500-750ml per watering and from 30th day i just add as much water to make my medium wet (in my case its 1500-2000ml every 24-36h) Im 10 days behind you on my seedstockers white widow. I'm looking forward comparing how our plants will compete =)

@Elek007,Right on, no worries. I'll follow your grow. I'm thinking about starting some other plants in a soil mix outside now that its nice weather wise. Would be cool to follow a successful soil grower.

@@@Lit_1,that make sense, I've always been soil guy and didn't know coco doesn't have nutrients to start with. My white widow is in new to me medium. It's called tropic batmix and is made out of 40% coco 60% peat and it have added bat poop. I wasnt planning on changing my growing routine but I will keep eye for any signs of under feeding. Thanks :)

@Elek007, Cool, thanks for the tips. Not feeding for 3 to 4 weeks would kill the plant in Coco coir as there arent any nutrients in it to begin with. You're growing in soil and that means theres already nutrients in it to begin with, so feeding is light to none at all. Also the amount of water is different since coco coir is a hydroponic medium and has to be saturated at all times, whereas in soil you want it to actually dry a little bit. Anyways thanks for stopping by and i look forward to checking your girls development out as well.

Plants look great! Just wondering how come your giving them so much water so early in the grow cycle

I agree with you ๐Ÿ’ฏ% @@Lit_1, in soil most of them are slightly amended and you can get away with only water, in COCO there is nothing, even though they do not need much, a bit CalMag is a must, I started prewashing my COCO with CalMag before I planted, that is before I went Soil and Organic, after 3 to 5 days as you said without a bit of nutrient's you can stall the growth, whatever you are doing my friend they look perfect :) Great Progress with your farmingโ—๐Ÿ’ฏ๐ŸŒฟ:thumbsup: ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘ Please Check Out My Diary's๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘

@Bushbaby808, Thank you sir. I'm trying, I made a big mistake with the white widow a few days ago, i really feel sick about it but she seems to be recovering fast. I did my homework but nothing can replace applying it and gaining practical experience. So you live you learn :)

@@Lit_1, Didn't know that, was aware they got given some good genes but its no huge surprise a lot of commercial seed markets that just repack or lazy crosses without any stability ... When a fastbuds seed pops its more of a lottery ticket than anything some are really fantastic but some arnt worth the time and shipping costs, i have limited time/ space and constraints on the number of plants I can run I don't often bother with risky seed choices (maybe 4 in a year) and then when I do get a winner I cant clone an auto so its just a flash in the stash before its gone again :/

@@Lit_1, More Bondage next time I guess, that's pretty interesting I always wanted to do some Barny's work partially for their T-shirt hahaha and a bit because they inherited a lot of Nevils genetics (didn't we all) but I might stick to their photo line I have found some seed firms still don't take autos very seriously (fastbuds springs to mind) and its more pot luck than pot plant ... I have had some really stable strains from Dutch Passion their auto critical orange punch or black berry kush are both fairly predictable favorites of mine

@Hemporio_Afghani, They're all lolipopped, completely bare by 2 ft or so. Next time I'll definitely be LST more now that i feel comfortable with it. Although in the Barney's PP it wouldnt of mattered much as there isnt a lot of room to grow outward and barney's genetics are just all over the place.

Dont buy a tent. For a few buck about 100 you can build your own from a little wood and a roll of that black and white plastic. You could literally build a tent any size you want. And the white reflects better than the stuff they have inside the tents. Looking good..Cheers

@@Lit_1, should have mentioned for the floor, they sell cheap pond liners at home depot. Took a couple of perspective pics this morning. Almost as big as a beer can now. Have a peek when you have some time. Have yourself a great day.

@GMSgrows, Yea it is! I got some major rains coming my way so thats why i'm harvesting the CJH now (this weekend after 1week flush). Hopeing the less crowded tent will keep the ladies safe due to increased airflow as well.

Just started my first WW Auto grow, following you closely. I had some discoloration earlier than you did, but my sprouts are growing fast.

@stumay111, Thanks for the kind follow friend! Ya its a weird strain but she seems quite hardy and future leaves wont have that discoloration. She probably gets the least love and TLC in my tent being behind a 140cm monster and in a trellis net but she's doing great i think.
