Week 5 - White Widow Auto All measurements per 1 liter of water Day 29 (Flower Day 1) - Everyone looking healthy, I'm quite excited to start this flowering phase. As stated yesterday (day 28) in week 4 I've lowered the Rhizotonic, changed from Nitric acid to Phosphoric acid, and added Boost. I fed them twice yesterday 2L each of solution and in that solution i have them 2.5mL of Boost per liter to get the substrate nice and saturated with it. Going forward at least for now I'll be maintaining 2mL of boost per liter of water. Today they'll just be getting 1L of solution each consisting of the following and in this order: water with EC of 0.2 added 0.25mL Ca and 0.1mL Mg to an EC of 0.5. I always let this sit for awhile and stir occasionally to give time for the water to get to room temperature and for the Ca and Mg to bind together. Then I add 1.25mL Rhizotonic / 2.5mL A / 2.5mL B / 2mL Cannazyme / 2mL Boost and about 0.25mL of Phosphoric acid to bring my PH from 7 to its final reading of EC 1.8 / PH 6.3 Day 30 (Flower Day 2) - I think they grew another 5-10cm overnight, maybe from the boost, maybe just part of their flower grow rate, either way great growth. Will post pics with measurements tomorrow. Normal feed today consisting of CaMg water to EC 0.5 / 1.25mL Rhizo / A 2.5mL / B 2.5mL / Cannazyme 2mL / Boost 2mL for a final reading of PH 6.1 / EC 1.7 ... I'm updating the watering rate from 1L per 24h to 1.5L per 24 hours to better reflect the reality. Every other day i'm feeding 1L of water then the next 2L of water so it equals out to 1.5L a day. Day 31 (Flower Day 3) - 2L of nutrients for everyone today. They sure are getting big, i took another measurement so you can see the difference in two days. Feed was as follows: Water EC 0.2 added CaMg to EC 0.5 / 1.25mL Rhizo / 2.5mL A / 2.5mL B / 2mL Cannazyme / 2.5mL Boost (up from 2.0mL, not sure which i'll stick with but just seeing how they like it for now). To a total of PH 6.1 / EC 1.8 Day 32 (Flower Day 4) - Another 2L of nutrients today. The ladies are very thirsty lately being in flower mode so i'm updating the watering volume per plant per 24h to 2L. I'll probably keep the 2L feeding schedule a day. I dont water all 2L at once, I normally feed them 1L when they wake up and a few hours later another 1L which gives good runoff and gives them time to absorb the nutrients without wasting too much nutrient. First solution was: water CaMg to EC 0.5 then 1.25mL Rhizo / 2.5mL A / 2.5mL B / 2mL Cannazyme / 2mL Boost for a final reading of PH 6.3 EC 1.8 and the second feeding was the same but the water was EC 0.4 after the CaMg treatment and the measurements but came out to PH 6.1 and EC 1.7 will update tomorrow with pictures. Day 33 (Flower Day 5) - Everyone looking great. The Critical Jack Herer has really grown up fast, she's not the shortest anymore. The Gelato #33 is now the shortest (not by much) but has the most developed flowers. Purple Punch is still the big lady and White Widow is really doing well, she doesnt seem phased at all from her accidental topping. Everyone starting to develop their flowers (see photos). Feeding same as yesterday, 2L per plant. I did defoliate just a little bit to maximize the light to the cola sites and tucked fan leaves when possible. First 1L was the same measurements as yesterday with a final PH 6.3 / EC 1.8 and the second feeding a few hours later was PH 6.1 / EC 1.7 Day 34 (Flower Day 6) - A bit more defoliating today as the humidity's been creeping up as its been raining outside. Humidity levels peaked at 65%, since defoliating a bit and airing out the tent its down to 50% which is where i want it. Standard feed of 2L per plant today with a final reading of PH 6.3 / EC 1.8 - Pictures to follow tomorrow. Day 35 (Flower Day 7) - Last day of the week. I added in my trellis net to somewhat help me keep the plants a bit more organized and also to get a little experience with it as next grow i intend to use it to greater effect (and earlier). It's certainly not a scrog or even a sog at this point as i started so late but it does help me keep the flowers a bit separated from each other and its easier for me to try to keep their light penetration up. The other added benefit is the fan in the back middle it allows me to keep the plants away from it somewhat. Its been raining a ton where i live and will continue all week so the humidity has really crept up, reach as high as 65% however it seems to normally be a bit below 60% which is fine for now. I defoliated although i didnt want to, to try to keep the humidity down and to maximize light penetration as much as possible. I've also bought a much larger bucket that makes feeding much easier, instead of two different 1L feeds they get 2L at once, although i do try to water them as slowly as possible. The interesting thing here is that the Purple punch i get maybe 10% runoff from this but the other three ladies i'm getting 30%+ runoff. I guess the Purple Punch is just a thirsty girl. The feeding today was the same as I'm trying to keep things normal for them since i've been defoliating a bit everyday this week. Next week i'll be lowering the Rhizotonic (the roots are at the very bottom and sides of the 20L softpot) and seeing how they like upping their A and B slightly. Their feed was as follows: EC 0.2 water CaMg to EC 0.5 / 1.25mL Rhizo / 2.5mL A / 2.5mL B / 2mL Cannazyme / 2mL Boost for a final PH 6.3 / EC 1.6

Hello. I'm not expert by all means but from my past 10 or so auto plants I've already grew i can give you some tips. Firstly I don't feed my plants at all for first 3-4 weeks, they just don't need it. Secondly its great you plant them straight in big pots, how I water young plants is half by "logic" and half of it is eyeballed. For 3 weeks just look at your seedling and imagine what you see over the soil surface, you roughly have twice as much roots underneath. That's why for first 7 days i water my plant twice a day with around 100ml water each time. From second week she's getting around 250-300ml once a day. In third week she's getting 500-750ml per watering and from 30th day i just add as much water to make my medium wet (in my case its 1500-2000ml every 24-36h) Im 10 days behind you on my seedstockers white widow. I'm looking forward comparing how our plants will compete =)

@Elek007,Right on, no worries. I'll follow your grow. I'm thinking about starting some other plants in a soil mix outside now that its nice weather wise. Would be cool to follow a successful soil grower.

@@@Lit_1,that make sense, I've always been soil guy and didn't know coco doesn't have nutrients to start with. My white widow is in new to me medium. It's called tropic batmix and is made out of 40% coco 60% peat and it have added bat poop. I wasnt planning on changing my growing routine but I will keep eye for any signs of under feeding. Thanks :)

@Elek007, Cool, thanks for the tips. Not feeding for 3 to 4 weeks would kill the plant in Coco coir as there arent any nutrients in it to begin with. You're growing in soil and that means theres already nutrients in it to begin with, so feeding is light to none at all. Also the amount of water is different since coco coir is a hydroponic medium and has to be saturated at all times, whereas in soil you want it to actually dry a little bit. Anyways thanks for stopping by and i look forward to checking your girls development out as well.

Plants look great! Just wondering how come your giving them so much water so early in the grow cycle

I agree with you ๐Ÿ’ฏ% @@Lit_1, in soil most of them are slightly amended and you can get away with only water, in COCO there is nothing, even though they do not need much, a bit CalMag is a must, I started prewashing my COCO with CalMag before I planted, that is before I went Soil and Organic, after 3 to 5 days as you said without a bit of nutrient's you can stall the growth, whatever you are doing my friend they look perfect :) Great Progress with your farmingโ—๐Ÿ’ฏ๐ŸŒฟ:thumbsup: ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘ Please Check Out My Diary's๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘

@Bushbaby808, Thank you sir. I'm trying, I made a big mistake with the white widow a few days ago, i really feel sick about it but she seems to be recovering fast. I did my homework but nothing can replace applying it and gaining practical experience. So you live you learn :)

@@Lit_1, Didn't know that, was aware they got given some good genes but its no huge surprise a lot of commercial seed markets that just repack or lazy crosses without any stability ... When a fastbuds seed pops its more of a lottery ticket than anything some are really fantastic but some arnt worth the time and shipping costs, i have limited time/ space and constraints on the number of plants I can run I don't often bother with risky seed choices (maybe 4 in a year) and then when I do get a winner I cant clone an auto so its just a flash in the stash before its gone again :/

@@Lit_1, More Bondage next time I guess, that's pretty interesting I always wanted to do some Barny's work partially for their T-shirt hahaha and a bit because they inherited a lot of Nevils genetics (didn't we all) but I might stick to their photo line I have found some seed firms still don't take autos very seriously (fastbuds springs to mind) and its more pot luck than pot plant ... I have had some really stable strains from Dutch Passion their auto critical orange punch or black berry kush are both fairly predictable favorites of mine

Lit_1
@Hemporio_Afghani, They're all lolipopped, completely bare by 2 ft or so. Next time I'll definitely be LST more now that i feel comfortable with it. Although in the Barney's PP it wouldnt of mattered much as there isnt a lot of room to grow outward and barney's genetics are just all over the place.

Dont buy a tent. For a few buck about 100 you can build your own from a little wood and a roll of that black and white plastic. You could literally build a tent any size you want. And the white reflects better than the stuff they have inside the tents. Looking good..Cheers

@@Lit_1, should have mentioned for the floor, they sell cheap pond liners at home depot. Took a couple of perspective pics this morning. Almost as big as a beer can now. Have a peek when you have some time. Have yourself a great day.

@GMSgrows, Yea it is! I got some major rains coming my way so thats why i'm harvesting the CJH now (this weekend after 1week flush). Hopeing the less crowded tent will keep the ladies safe due to increased airflow as well.

@stumay111, Thanks for the kind follow friend! Ya its a weird strain but she seems quite hardy and future leaves wont have that discoloration. She probably gets the least love and TLC in my tent being behind a 140cm monster and in a trellis net but she's doing great i think.
