So this is straight up just for fun. Might miss a post here or there and as you can tell from the pics there is a lot more then 1 week of growth In the plants. Started them at the same time as my other diaries, just didn't think to do a post on it tell now. Now the 2 that are in the window are eventually going outside to into planters. I didn't put all 4 outside at ones because the weather was shut and I wasn't 100% sure the ones I had put outside already would survive. Luckily the did. The bigger plants both in the window and outside are the purple haze and the smaller plants are Rockstar. The purple haze plants are also the ones that were topped and the rockstar in the window was fimed. The 2 in the window well probably be going outside sometime in the next 2 weeks.
Well the 2 that I planted in my flower bed have been gotten eaten by bugs. Found where the bugs were coming from and removed them. Then I found my pitbull in the flower bed munching on a leaf.... fucking dogs.... also I feel like they haven't really grown much, but I'm pretty sure that's from the bugs. Now the 2 that was in my window, the purple haze is looking awesome. Replanted it in a massive 7 gal pot and then planted the Rockstar in the 2 gal pot that the purple haze originally was in. There both looking great, the Rockstar is a lot smaller but thats because it was in a small pot.
Happy growing
So the Rockstar that is potted is probably going to stay in the window for awhile. Wife noticed spider mites on it the other night and fixed it asap, so just want to keep a eye on it a bit longer before it goes outside.
So the outdoor plants have had a crazy 7 days. First 2 days of the week were hot and sunny. Then 2 days of straight rain. Then 2 cloudy days and then today started off raining then turned to sun (all pics where taken today).
So the rockstar in the garden planter hasn't grown much at all since its been there but its still alive lol.
The Purple Haze in the garden planter is growing fast, but it is showing a few issues. Bugs for 1 are eating the leafs still. Planted some other plants near by to help keep them away. And 2 its having some signs of deficiency that I'm going to look into.
The purple haze in the pot is my main girl. She's growing strong and I've been doing my best to keep here short so people don't see her from the street.
Happy growing.
So this week has been a easy one. The rockstar in the window has been cleaned of all the mites that I can see but well watch It tell the end of the month. The rockstar in my garden isn't growing at all. Its getting water and doesn't look dead or anything. All I can think of is that the outdoor Temps have hindered its growth. Might remove it and put a early miss auto in its place. The purple haze in the planter is getting extremely bushy and has massive leafs. Im starting to think that the guy that did my seeds misplaced a few and that this one is actually a indica, maybe blueberry. Now my main girl my purple haze in the planter is looking great, topped her about 3 times now. Trying to keep her low so that the next door neighbors don't complain. Well happy growing
plants are doing good. The Rockstar i have in the window is doing really good. Cleaned her up and might actually give it to a buddy of mine for his birthday. The Purple Haze in the planter in the center of my garden is doing great. Been topping her 1 a week and fimed the lower section a bit. The blueberry ive been FIMing only. The Rockstar that was next to the blueberry got attacked 1 night while I was asleep and had to get pulled out. Just happy ot was that one and not one of the others that got torn up, wasn't even half the size of the other plants. Got 2 early miss autos im seeding. Might throw them outside, not 100% sure yet. Well happy growing everyone.
And now im down to 2. The one that was jn the window was given to a good home and the one that was in the pot was put into the planter next to the other plant. Now looking at them togther I'm almost 100% sure there both blueberry and the person that did my seeds really didn't know what ones were which. Well it is what it is.
Happy growing everyone
the weather the last week where I live has been horrible. Little to no sun and lots and lots of rain. Been doing a lot of topping and fiming to keep the hight of the plants low. Live in the middle of a huge city so trying to keep ot low key lol. I stopped using green plant because if I go on vacation and someone else has to water them, I dont want it so be to confusing for them. So out with the green plant and in with GHE floranova. Just 1 bottle instead of the 4.
Well happy growing everyone.
So had some nice weather and the plants growth blow up. Had a incident with one of them tho. Ended up removing the lower branchs and now it looks like a palm tree lol.
The plants are lookimg great, we have had nothing but nice weather the last 3 days. Added more ocean forest soil to the planter but have also been feeding it nutrients ever 2 days. Cant wait to see the end results of the plants.
Happy growing
Plants are looking great. The one plant is getting extremely bushy and the other one is starting to bounce back from my mistake. Itll be interesting to see how big I can get them.
Happy growing everyone
So both plants are getting so big that I built a new fence lol (thats why there's a pic of a fence). Now the big one is 58 inchs and the smaller one is 56, but with the planter there both almost 6 ft tall. There both looking great and loving the sun light right now. Ive been FIMing them both the last few weeks but soon I'm going to go back to Topping to try and keep the hight down. Really having a blast with the outdoor grow.
Happy growing everyone.
Heats gone up and there's been a lot more sunny days this past week. I've started topping both plants to keep there hight down. And the one that looks like a palm tree 🌴, started to slowly fall over because all the weight is on the top. So I did a little LST and tied 4 bamboo sticks together to make a post and then tied the plant to it and pulled it back a bit. The other massive plant I cleaned up the base and lolipoped it. Started planning how I'm going to start covering them in September/October for rain season.
Happy growing everyone
We have had some major heat the last 3 days. Lowest day temp was 29, highest was today with 31. And at night it hasn't gone down that much with a low of 20 and a high of 24. Been watering the plants a lot to keep them hydrated. Also been feeding them more frequently. Instead of doing it every 3 days im now doing it every 2 days. Finally measured my planter size and its 104.5 gal. so the number up top represents the space per plant and not the full planter. I cantet the plants get much bigger then they already are so I might do chop the tops a bit more to maintain the hight.
Happy growing everyone
Man this was disappointing.... from what ive grow of blueberry before I was really looking forward to smoking this. Still have 1 seed left and ill be putting it away for next season.
man the monsters are getting big. Ive been going out there and try to keep them under the 6ft mark as much as possible. You cant see them from the street or anything because of my new fence and because I have a 20ft Japanese Maple almost directly in front of them. The big bushy one gets all the light, roughly 8 hours of direct sunlight a day. The inside palm tree one tho is mostly always in the shade and has a lot of 3 point leafs most likely because of the lack of light. The weather here has been all over the place this last week. Few days got up to the 30s, had 2 days that were at low 20s with lots of clouds and then today is sunny but only 23c currently. I spent about 15min yesterday cleaning up any yellow leafs and topping the plants. Haven't had any issues with bugs since I planted the mums but they have died and still no bugs so hopefully that doesn't change.
I added a few bonus pics of plants I have on the go rite now that aren't in a diary. The 2 autos i started just for fun because I had never done them before. Happy with the results so far. The other 4 (dark angle, cali og, and 2 jawa pies) were seeds i had started at separate times for my tent, but because I had some failures (bad seeds or weather so hot it killed my small plants), the strong ones got moved to the garden. Hope to have the tent up at the end of the month when its cold down a bit, but we well see. Also my new AeroGarden project is up and running now so its not like I dont have my fair share of plants to take care of already lol
Happy growing everyone
So this has been a crazy week. Plants passed the 6ft mark so I went over it and topped all the plants so that it was under the 6ft mark. Easy
Well Thursday night we got hit with some pretty crazy weather. Wind hit over 70kmh and we had massive amounts of rain fall from Thursday morning all the way to Saturday evening. We got so much heavy rain and crazy wind that my big plant started to lean over. So I made up some bamboo support to help it for now.
Should start flowering by the end of the month so I'm going to start construction on my "cage". Should easy to set up but won't be pretty lol
Happy growing everyone.
Holy shit has it been hot out the last week. Week started off with temperatures around 23-25c and then for the last 4 days its been 30+c since. Yesterday was the worst, hit 36 in the backyard. Been watching them and misting them like crazy,y to help them deal with the heat. So far today hasn't been to bad but its the morning still and its still going to hit the 30c by mid afternoon.
I've been topping the plants to try and keep them below the 6ft mark but I missed a few and they grow up past the 6ft mark so ill be fixing that later today. Did a nice clean up of dead leafs and cleaned the soil up of any growth.
Sometime this week ill begin putting togther my birdcage to support the plants during bloom. Was going to donit this weekend but the heat was killing me. Also going to add some bells to the structure to make noise if any unwanted guests try to jack my plants.
Happy growing everyone
So the inside plant started to flower just the other day and im sure the outside one is only a few days from starting to itself. I was going to set up my bird cage this last weekend but due to unforseen crap I was unable to do that. Hopefully I'll be able get it done this weekend.
I've been waiting almost a month now for indoor grow canada to send me my General Hydroponics Floranova bloom. The grow shops by me were all sold out and this company said they could have it shipped out in 3 to 5 businessdays.... 3 weeks later and they still haven't shipped it....
If both plants are flowering by the end of the month then great!!! Were looking at moving in November- December so hopefully they have enough time to finish up before we have to move or they might get chopped down before there completely done.
Happy growing everyone
Man this last weekend was a lot of work kn the plants. The week had great sun light but not a lot of heat. Think the hottest day we had was 25c. Had just one day of rain so far. Went and picked up a low cfm leaf blower to help dry the plants off after rain fall, going tk stand a few feet back for when I do it so to not damage the plants.
Aug.28 (friday) prep day for this weekends jobs. Got materials togther and did a small amount of lolipoping.
Aug.29 (Saturday) I was planning on doing all the work buuuut the leaf strip ended up taking a lot longer then i had planned. Almost 6 hours of work from both me and my wife to clean up both plants.
Aug.30 (Sunday) building the frame work for the structure was easy. Probably only spent a hour or so building it. Setting up the thrills net after was not. Spent Probably close to a hour just trying to get it set up on top. Then slowly moved the plants around and re set them up so that the net wasn't bending them or damaging them. After that it was basically just going around and timing everything up. When it was all over and done with there was Probably a good 10 hours of work involved in set up. Told my wife that if I had done it 2 weeks ago like I had originally planned then it probably would have been easier and I could have topped all the plants down to the top of the net but because there in full bloom I can't.
Hopefully the floranova bloom that I ordered 4 weeks ago shows up soon so that I can start feeding my plants correctly. On the fence on if ill ever order from that place again because of there extremely slow delivery service and poor customer service.
Well happy growing everyone.
So the blueberry on the inside is budding like crazy, has great
bud stacking and is starting to get a beautiful aroma to it. The one on the outside started to show signs of budding but it slowed down or stopped. Hope it starts back up soon.
So back when I started this outdoor grow, my wife asked how big the plants well get. I told her no bigger then 5ft.... well they hit 7ft and ive been topping and FIMing like crazy so that I don't feel like a complete lier lol. So to help with the hight I started bending down the outside plant and straping it down so that itll grow a bit sideways before it continues to grow upwards.
When it comes to feeding them, ive been only feeding every second day and the plants appear to like it.
Happy growing everyone.
Man what a horrible week weather wise. Bearly cracked the 20c mark all week. But to make matters worse, unfortantly there's a massive fire thats burning in Oregon, destroying peoples homes and businesses and creating a lot of smoke. Winds been blowing west and the smoke is blocking the sun light everywhere. The inside plant is budding like crazy, got some great stacking going on and has stopped growing in hight. The one on the outside is budding, but its still growing.... really hope it stops soon lol. I might unfortunately have to cut some of the tops off just to stay withing my city's by laws for cannabis growing (cant be visible from the street), up to $5000 fine and jail time (a bit over kill for something that's supposed to be legal if you ask me). So going from what ive read and what I've been told i should be looki g to crop middle to end of October. The inside one is atleast 2 weeks ahead of the outside plant. I'm debating if I stage the crop, doing each plant when there done or just crop them both at the same time after the outside plant is mostly milky trenchomes. It'll probably all depend on how ripe the inside plant ends up getting. Don't want to crop a plant that's 80% amber lol, only time well tell.
Happy growing everyone.
With lots of rain comes high humidity. Been raining non-stop for a few days. All light rain but enough to have the humidity jump up 16%. Nothing I can do to fight the high outdoor humidity but I can try to protect my girls as much from the rain as I can. Didn't take long to build, maybe 30mins, but they now have a makeshift shelter to help decrease the amount of rain that gets on them. Also added a massive cow bell to them that makes a lot of nice when its touched.
The inside plant is a few weeks ahead of the outside plant. It has a massive amount of bud development and also has some orange hairs on some of the buds. Its also stopped growing in hight. Every bit of energy it gets goes straight to the buds. The outside plant is starting to grow some nuce bud clusters but is still growing upwards lol. So far this plant is almost double the size of any other plant ive grow. So I hope it doesn't get snipped by thieves. Since they both are clearly weeks apart im going to do a staggered crop. Inside one is probably going down the beginning of next month and the outside one the middle of the month. It'll be easier to do also because I have 2 other outdoor plants that I have on the go (no diaries for them) and there both coming down around the middle of next month too and I dont have the space to dry 4 massive trees at the same time. Growing issues lol
Happy growing everyone
STORM WEEK!!!! Man did we have some horrible weather this last week. Started off with a massive amount of wind (80kmh) that just destroyed the make shift shelter i made for my blueberry plants. And then we had HEAVY rain for 4 days straight. My inside plant thats been budding for a few weeks was the one that looks to have suffered the most from this. When the shelter cover failed it fell on top of the plants and the water started to pool on top of the poly and pushed down on the plants. Luckly it wasn't like that for too long and they have slowly started to bounce back a bit. All the water and high humidity caused the plant to get some bud rot in a few spots. Most has been cleaned up but ive found a new spot today that had it (in pictures). Ive already removed 6 solid nice size buds that had some bud rot on them and it sucked to have to do but it needed to be done.
The outside plant is looking really good tho, hope that it keeps looking good.
Happy growing everyone
So I chopped down one of the plants. It could have gone a bit longer but it had bud rot that was getting a bit out of hand so down she went. Cleaned up as much of the rot as I could find and started hang drying the rest. Would have like to have gone a bit longer but it is what it is. Whatever I get from that plant well be pressed. Now on to the sad news.... someone broke into my yard and butchered the shit out of my other plant. Only cut a crap load off the side of it and I still have everything up top. The worst part is it wasn't even close to ready yet and I know they well be back. Set up more security cameras to hopefully catch them in the act. From what I can see it looks like they were just trying to rip it all off and didn't have anything to cut with. Going to be crashing In my front room tell crop time so that nothing else goes missing.
Happy growing everyone
So another big rain fall 😒. Outdoor on the wetcoast is not a simple task. Ive re built the shelter again but this time I gave it more of a arch and also made it more of a sound, solid structure. Set it all up Friday and the rain has been in and off but I don't want to lose 60% of the crop to bud rot like I did to the other plant. So far its looking good. Noticed a bit of WPM on the lower section of the plant but thats easier to take care of then bud rot. Started spraying it with lost coast plant therapy when the rain stops to combat it. I started adding advanced nutrients overdrive to my feed to try and speed up the last few weeks. Hopefully it'll be down in a week or so, starting to get cold out and with the weather getting worse and worse I might be forced to take her down before she gets to the stage I like.
Happy growing everyone
Update: just realized I forgot to mention that I pressed my other plant lol. Got 52g of cannabis and pressed out 4.6g of rosin. Its got a bit of moisture to it so next time I'll wait another day or two more before doing. Still smoked it and got really high.
Da da da da BUD ROT!!!! This grow started off amazing. Everything was going great. Then October arrived and the plant was only 2-3 weeks into flower. And the rain started.... in the last 20 days we have had rain 15 of them. Humidity has been over 70% for most of the days. Ive meet a few other outdoor growers and they told me that the only way to do itnin this area is using a green house or planting in a area where you can control the hours of light. This way you can be cropped by Oct 1. I was already planning on building something for next year, so I'll just look at this as a learning experience. I'll be cutting it down and seeing what I can salvage if any.
Happy growing everyone
