Just started with 5 seeds of the amazing Chocolate Mint OG. I know that this strain grows fast and in abundance. They have been growing in rock wool cubes for 7 days and now I've placed them in 11 liters plastic pots. I going to give them just water for this week because the soil that I'm using is already "manured". I'm planning to stay in the vegetative state for about 8/9 weeks. Wish me luck!
They are growing fast! I'm starting to give them CO2 in tablets: 1/4 of a tablet in water and 1/2 of a tablet in aero (a cup of water inside the grow box every other day). At the end of the week I think I'm going to spray them with a bit of Vita Race but I'm not quite sure this week or next. Then I'll start to poke some holes in the soil and inoculate a 1/4 of a spoon of Guano Bat to enrich the soil.
A couple of them have been "falling" so I used a small stick to keep them upwards.
They are growing particularly fast: they are already taller then 20 cm. Air humidity and temperature have been changing, rising a bit, over the weeks but nothing to be concerned with (yet). At the end of this week I going to give some Vita Race in spray so they have extra protection and I'm gonna add some Guano Bat to the soil.
Had to increase again the amount of water because the temperature is rising and the grow box is getting hotter by the day.
Today I did the first bend. They are holding steady. Maybe I was a little late but there are no sings of snaps.
Next week I'll get them to bend again. My goal is to form a spiral, sorta.
Sunday will be the end of the 4th week. 28 days, many more before the end. Let's keep it up!
Ok they are growing very fast. So fast that I was late but I made it, I put up the structure for keep the plants growing like a spiral. I actually kinda "snapped" one of them. I was sure that it was going to die but it survived to my clumsy hands.
I cut all the branches that pointed down keeping just the ones on top. I'm quite content with what I'm doing but I'm open for suggestions.
This is my 5th week of vegetation... I'm guessing I'll keep going for other 3 or 4.
Temperatures and humidity are still rising and the plants are feeling it. I try to keep them to fell for the heat checking two or tree times per day, adding some water if necessary. I gave them Fish Force to give a little kick. Next week will be the last week of vegetation.
