This has been my first grow ever. I germinated the seed on 15th of March. Unluckily, I didnt know how to deal with proper temperatures and RH levels, so my seed had problem to sprout in time. The growing soil is a pre amended one, but I found out that it had wrong PH (too high) and poor characteristics.

Second week, still problems because of wrong light and RH levels. The seedling keeps living but does not grow. I put a humidity dome on it.

Hey :-) Look with a microscope 👌If the trichome heads are about 70% milky and 30% clear, you can start with the flush. If the trichomes are about 70% milky and 30% amber, it is a very good time to harvest 👍🙏🏻 but do not pay attention to the leaves of the trichomes on the buds 👍

Finally I changed settings, putting the pot behind the window toward east and on the balcony toward west, trying to give to the seedling the most light I can. The leaves started to grow. I removed the humidity dome.

This week, the plant has created new leaves branches and has grown a lot! Moreover, a lot of pistils have started to pop up, making me looking forward for the flowering stage! A little bit of smell has started to come out, but only by putting the nose right on top of the main branch. Up to now, only water has been added. As seen from previous weeks pictures, older leaves have got their tips yellow, but I was totally sure of nitrogen deficiency: I was 90% wrong, as I started to think it was the contrary. The plant has probably been nutrient burnt because of pre amended soil, so I tried to invert the effects by flushing the soil with tap water corrected with white vinegar, in order to lower the PH as well. Now, with a poorly accurate ph-meter, I found out that the PH has a little lowered to PH 7, and I'll try next time to lower it further down to PH 6.5.

Another week has passed. The plant is still growing both in height and foliage. The pistils are more everyday!! After a further research, I may have found out that the reason for the tips and margins yellowing could be a potassium deficiency. To test it, I am going to feed the plant with some ph'd potash water. If anyone has some ideas about it, please comment below! It would be much appreciated!

Does anyone know if the final harvest will give lower yields because of the first 1/2 weeks seedling delay given that its an autoflowering strain? Do you think the plant is right on time by the pics(regarding its height and foliage)and if the pistils popping out is not too early?

As you can see from last pic from week 6, I have used pre amended soil with 2.5 % of Nitrogen on dry mass. (sorry for the italian). Should I flush the pot ahead of time in order to reduce nutrients level so to both solve the yellow tips problem and favour the flowering stage?

This has been a very sad week, being cloudy all week long (and still is) The plant has grown very little (although I presume that it has finished its stretching period). Trichomes have started to show up, but still no fattening of the buds. Upper flowers have a little browning on their pistils and I dont know why! Plus, there are some balls with one filament on them (so they should not be male flowers): does anyone know if are they ungrown female flowers? Leaves margins yellowing seems stopped: I fed the plant with one banana tea and a lot of potash (wood ashes), always keeping Ph around 6.5, spread on the soil during this week because I thought it could be potassium deficiency. Hoping for the best next week!

Does anyone knows what are those balls with one filament (pistil) on them? And why some of them have brown filament/pistil on it?

Hello.. Hope you are well.. These are just little glands that are very similar to wot make up her flowers on bud sites.. The pistils coming out from them are looking for male pollen.. If she can't find any pollen she becomes swollen and browns of leaving that gland incapable of production of seed.. This is why females in cannabis are sought in basic terms.. Sensi=no seeds.. Stay safe n gud luck.. 👍🍀

I found in the store a liquid fertiliser only for flowering plants with a NPK ratio of 4-6-6, so a lot of potassium and phosphorus which are good for the flowering phase. I was thinking about feeding the plant with this, halving the dose reaching a 2-3-3 ratio. Is it good?

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Yes that is perfectly acceptable during flowering.. But-during last wk of flowering (her wk b4 flush) i wud stop giving her 2-3-3 and go for a pk fert with a higher potassium and phosphorus.. But feed very sparingly.. That stuff is pretty strong.. Lots of entry level pk boosters out their that are pretty solid.. Canna is my personal choice(it can mix with most other solutions).. Stay safe n gud luck around harvest time.. 👍🍀

This week has been a lot sunnier, thanksfully! The plant has grown very little (by a little more than 1 cm), so I guess the stretching period is quite over. Flowers look like they are fattening now and I see a lot of trichomes growing on top of sugar leaves of both main and side colas. The smell is still weak but stronger than last week! I tried to feed her with that liquid fertilizer with NPK 2-3-3 but it looks like she does not like it because the day after I saw some nutrient burn on her leaves tip together with some tip curling up. So I decided to flush it and feed the plant with only potash water (wood ash diluted in water) in order to give her only P and K and she looks recovered. I am wondering when she will be ready for harvest day. If you have any suggestion, please dont hesitate!

Today I have noticed some new tip burn, also on sugar leaves. Do you think it's nutrient burn or something else? I am feeding the plant with only (P and K) potash. I think the Nitrogen present in the soil at the beginning is almost gone after 3 months. Please help!

This is a nutrient deficiency; the plant has a slight lack of potassium and magnesium nitrogen. And, judging by the stage of development of the plant, they do not look mature, they must still grow in order to prepare for the harvest !!! Before harvesting, at least 4-5 weeks, and during this time she needs to eat something. Do not rush to harvest. Feed her and remove rotten leaves, as the plant will spend its energy on their regeneration

This week has been partially sunny. A lot of fan leaves have started yellowing but I don't know if it is completely normal or it's a sort of deficiency (PLEASE HELP!). I have been feeding the plant with only ph'ed water (tough there is still some wood ash left on top of the soil). I knew that I should have flushed the plant in the last 2 weeks of flowering, considering that it is starting her 12th week by now. As you can see from the main cola pictures, some pistils are getting orange, so I might be right. Anyway, right before writing this, I have just fed her with NPK liquid fertiliser 1-1.5-1.5 plus some wood ash to increase P and K. Looking forward to see how things will evolve! PS: she grew of about 1 cm on Monday, and stayed like that until today, so I should consider her growing phase over by now!

Yes, it is a good rule to eliminate to avoid mold and aerate the plant.

I managed to get a Jeweler’s Loupe and I tried to take a picture with the iPhone. Do you think the trichomes are all cloudy enough? I was in doubt before buying the loupe because the pistils are still nearly 30%/40% brown. I also found very few brown trichomes, about 1-2% total

Hey man, i don't want anyone to click on my diaries I don't care how many people view them. But the re-upload of my very first run (first time vibes it's called I think) is exactly your question. I had the same issue not knowing when to harvest. Was around week 9 from seed. Some wise grower out there told me that first of all, if you're unsure wait another full week. Also, everyone has their own way of judging their harvest time. You could harvest that bud and smoke it and get an effect which might please you. I did exactly that on my second grow that you can find on my profile. I harvested way to early. Also, even though I had effects they were really bad and just not satisfying in comparison to what Ive known from the exact same strain given a bit more time. I would highly suggest to first of all wait at least another week. Keep checking the trichomes on the calyx (the parts where the pistils come out of :) ) and not only on the top bud but on some lower parts too. Depending on your preference, you should aim for some amber trichomes. If you take any picture of calyx trichomes and you have anywhere from 5% to 25% amber, golden trichomes amongst tons cloudy ones , it's time to chop. Much love and peace my friend, sorry for the huge text xD

Another week has passed. I removed very yellow/brown leaves to let side buds get more light. Pistils now are nearly 40% brown, so I guess the harvest window is finally open! I bought a jeweler’s loupe to look at the trichomes and they look quite cloudy (you can see pictures on question pics). Thanks to @Medicanna and @Nobody01 I understood that I should wait one more week to harvest (I'm looking for a speedy/euphoric effect, so I dont care about amber trichomes). PS: The smell got more intense and now fills the whole plant's room!

Today, Sunday 14th of June, I have just cut and trimmed the plant: so happy!! Unfortunately, as I thought, trimmed wet weight is only 18 grams, so Im expecting around 6 grams of dry weight. I will update this comment as soon as the bud gets dried and ready to be smoked! Update 1: the bud got dried (its 6 grams now) and now its on curing time in a glass jar with 58% boveda pack!
