No, you're not going to get bigger buds by cutting those side branches. Its a bit late anyway

Durban458 This week only water ✌️ main stem have big and dense buds and lovely sweet - petrol smell Lower branches have smaller buds but very sticky. 🌱 Main buds are changing color....hope next week we will see which color they choose
