Planted straight in to the medium - Biobizz light + pearlite. First 3 days under a single 20w CFL then added an 11w flourescent tube on day 4 for 38,000lux. My humidifier is broken so it's sitting at about 38-40RH. Heat mat was in there to start with then I switched it off when I added the extra light, fluctuates between about 24-29°c. Gave it 100ml of PH6.5 tap water on day 3.

Switched from CFL to blurple on day 9. Day 10 moved to a much larger space & had issues keeping the temp up so it sat at about 18° for a day, didn't seem to affect it though, everything still looking good in the morning. I've been watering every 3 days with 100ml tap water. Day 13 I gave enough water for runoff (1.5l).

Started LST day 17 & tightened it up a bit day 18 to stop fan leaves blocking too much. No nutes yet & it's growing pretty fast! Messing with the LST every day, lots of leaf tucking going on. First time do no idea if I'm helping or not! Day 21 added the Ecothrive Charge 60ml & Biosys Tea 1g.

Day 23, noticed some holes in a couple of leaves. Looks like I damaged them a bit with the lst wire. Top dressed with the Ecothrive nutrients over a couple of waterings. Day 27 added some mulch.

Most likely a pest of some sort. Get some Neem oil and treat your girls it will strengthen them give them a nice sheen and help protect them from invaders! Cheers and happy growing!

Day 29, pistils! So happy! Day 30 broke the main stem LSTing, so taped it up & fingers crossed it works. Couldn't save the main stem so I removed it. The rest of the plant seems pretty happy though.

Day 30 gave another Biosys tea with the watering. Stretch has started, it's definitely getting taller now. Day 40 removed a few leaves that were blocking lower bud sites.

What are these flies that were in my space bucket? First thought was fungus gnats, but the soil is bone dry (actually forgot to water yesterday). There is nothing on the underside of the leaves either, so doesn't look like aphids.

Look like a fungus gnat. Even with dry soil they could be coming from somewhere else, otherwise it might be that their numbers are so far down that you're seeing a last adult...but even that 1 can start up a new population. By some "mosquitos bites) and water with that and it should kill any larvae starting up again.

Fungus gnats! Pretty sure I brought them in when introducing some worms. Flypaper is up & waiting for some neem oil to arrive. Moved it to a new home in a larger box, gnats seem to have all disappeared for now... Another wave of gnats, applied a neem oil foliage spray & soil drench. I got some diatomaceous earth but too scared to use it in case it harms the beneficial organisms as well.

It's getting thirsty! Having to water a bit more frequently, also having some trouble keeping the humidity down. I've got 2 dehumidifiers running in there & thinking of adding another. Spider mites! Used a bleach solution on day 51 & sprayed it on leaves, also put diatomaceous earth down although I'm a bit worried it will hurt my worms. Day 52 used a chemical pesticide. End of the week, I'm really doubting there were any mites. No sign of any eggs, bugs or webbing. One application of Nuke 'Em & I'll finish the course, but I've also given it a feed of the lifesys & some worm castings as well as PHing the water properly at 6.5. Hopefully my leaves will stop turning yellow now.

Does anyone know what these yellow spots are? They only appear on about 5 leaves near the top of the plant. I've googled but can't find anything quite like it. I checked under the leaves & there are no bugs.

Fabric planters ? If so i would make sure your entire root system gets wet after you water your girls look a little on the dark side, maybe cut your feeding back some. If their fabric pots look to see if it is pouring out the sides when you water

Starting to see some trichomes, although I need more practice with the microscope! Nearly at the end of the insecticide course, no more leaves turning yellow, although I think it might have actually been a nutrient deficiency as still 0 sign of any bugs.
