Remo - Random seeds - DIY Led

I've got 6 plants. I use about 15 led lamps to give them light. Mixing 3000k lights and 6500k ( 50/50 ) This is my first grow and i'm training main lining. I don't know the sexes yet. They are numbered. First week was problematic. My plan was to start them on perlite and sphagnum peat but i had to wait and couldn't. I planted 1 and 2 on a soil i had but they started showing some problems and stunted growth. I ended having to uproot them and they really felt the change. Number 3 is probably a male and a beast growing. I started feeding them 1 every 3 days but that was killing them and i was using the 6 - 7 ph range. During week 2 i changed but they felt really badly this first week.

By now the feeding schedule of 1 every 3 days started showing its problems. 1 and 2 also started to slow down because of the soil so i uprooted them. They almost died between uprooting and the slow feeding. 3 and 4 started having deficiencies but after i changed the PH to hydroponics, made some flushes and raises the light a little bit they stopped showing more signs of stress. This week i started feeding them more. I dilute a bit for the small ones. My target is 0.9 EC for 3 and 4 and 0.6 to others.

Started Main lining 3. 4 will be topped soon. 1, 2 are starting to at least look alive.

4 will be topped soon. 5 node is just raising. I'm a bit worried because the third node had some deficiency leaves. I raised Remo because 3, 4, 1 and 5 are theoretically on late veg. I didn't noticed because i wasn't tracking the weeks.

last week was turbulent. Lots of wrong things i was doing. Right now my only focus is not distress the plants too much. I was letting them sit in the run off and now they aren't. My plan is to let the pots dry a bit and then start feeding them every other day with small amounts of water. I will update the comment when i settle with a feeding schedule.

So Finally after after a lot of problems i think i got it right. First 3, 4 and 5 are ahead in growth and they drink more. At least 80 ml a day and if i feel they've been drinking more i just give more. Other plants goes between 40 ml to 60 ml but i follow the same rule. If smart pot is dry in the bottom i just given them more. I check the smart pots and if the end feels somewhat dry i make them drink until it is at least wet to the touch but without runoff. 3, 4 and 5 were definitely root bound. 3 was so root bound the roots were starting to become air pruned on the pot side. After changing and giving them more cal mag they seems to have started growing again just fine. I'm still dumbfounded how that don't lead to a Ca excess but well the plants seems fine. I may have to consider diminishing the Ca bit as the PH of the solution goes up since Ca becomes more available.

OK so last week was hard. I finally discovered i was just not feeding them enough and my PH meter was wrong. But this came kinda in a bad time. I vegged too much and now the roots may not have enough room to grow. For flowering im starting slow and still feeding them the veg mix a few days in the first week and then i started the flowering mix. I dilute the EC to the target one. So be aware that i actually do higher concentrations and then i dilute. They are starting to grow by the day. I had to set the flowering and kill all my small plants. ( i had 2 other generations going on but my lights didn't came and i cant buy another tent now )

Last week was ok. 3 was a male and was unleashing pollen so i had it cut down. Every other plan is female which is a very welcome coincidence since those seeds aren't feminized. As i said, i'm doing a highly concentrated mix for ferts and diluting with RO water until certain EC. I'm still burning some tips here and there but they were showing deficiencies with less. My plan is to let them burn a little until they get used to this range. I'm very happy with my girls. 2 is showing some yellowing and its very close to the lamp. I've also set it higher so it burn my plants.

Starting to raise EC to 0.14. Plants seems good. Lots of pistils. Trying to raise EC slowly and some defoliation is coming soon I finally had a week without any accidents. I've burned some tips because of 1300 ec but i just fed them anyway and waited for them to get used. Now im trying to slowly raise the EC and fatten those buds. Second Day: Some plants already showed some N toxicity. Raising the EC and the PH was a bad call. Too much happening. I did a small flush specially on 2 since it was the one actually showing. Maybe salt build up on coco. I fed them a water and fed again. I brought the EC down for 1300 again. Did some defoliation and i may have exaggerated a little bit. My QB ( 120W ) finally arrived and i wanted the light to penetrate those colas. Third Day: PISTILS ALL AROUND. 5 finally wake and is stretching. 4 and 2 obviously ahead. I will need to keep an eye because 2 and 4 will finish before 1, 5, 6

Things are starting to get interesting but also confusing. For example the plants still drink a reasonably low EC for flowering and they are kinda deep on it for me. Maybe i'm looking at it wrong since sativas normally take longer to flower. I had a lot of trouble getting the correct EC range on the beginning and im hoping i wont kill them now :P
