Not a good week. Last week I had to spray because of the Spider Mites. Not sure what happened but I think I sprayed too much, although had the right formula for greencleaner, but in the morning they were all wilted. and when the light comes on they burned. two of the plants are still surviving, but not sure how much bud growth is happening. One plant, which was my strongest and biggest, has all fried up and wilted, so I removed the dead leave and am ready to hack out of tent.

This is my first grow. While transplanting the clones, one of roots broke off or were previously not connected, little concerned and hoping it will grow new roots after transplanted. The environment is good but not sure if my ppm of 450 is too high?

@Walligator, not look like high i just mist 550 ppm to the seeds for germinate but i really never grow clone before. All looks healthy and looks like you have good research👍i wish you best of luck with your first adventure👍

they were small and taking off, I think I messed up the roots when handling and they were supper fragile when I got them...I tried to get three new ones from the dealer, but we didn't hook up this weekend... thus I think I am going to move forward with just these, and then on the next batch, will grow more than 6 to start, knowing some are rejects.

@Walligator, yeah dude thats allright so you have 3 plants in rockwools now (i believe that rockwools😄) so what is your next step will you transplant?
Walligator
Walligatorcommentedweek 47 years ago
No I hope I don need to transplant... the roots are coming in through the coco mat and see lots of root growth. I assume I can let the rockwool and coco mats to support the entire root system. Not sure when I should install the Scrog net, but want to start to train the plants to lat flat. ? How close can I get the lights to the plants? I don't think they are growing too fast because of the low temp, and its only getting lower... I was thinking about putting a small l personal heater in the tent, but not sure if a good idea. Also how long can I stay in veg mode for? since it's cold, and and I want a high yield I wanted to let the plants grow across the scrog net, so was going to stay in veg cycle for a8 weeks or more?? good or bad idea?

Tragic! At least with as healthy as they were, I have faith in you for your next batch. Will follow your personal profile for future grows =)

if you got a small personal heater you can put it by the tent, probably not inside it -- just keep an eye on the thermostat you should be good to keep in veg mode as long as you want for size and that will probably help fill your tent the light you can probably keep as close as 16-18" fine just watch for discoloration or leaves standing straight up never grown in a rockwool cube especially one this size but yea i dont think theyre necc big enough to support the trees youre wanting for it to fill out most of the tent

Looks good man.. Why you want to rid of 3 of them?

They're doing super well and I imagine they'll fill quite a bit of space and yield vigorously. One would imagine at some point they might like it a bit warmer though. You're doing really well for a first grow, and your equipment seems on point. I'll gladly follow your diary and like your posts! That said, while I am also available for general advice I sadly have zero hydroponics experience. Happy growing!

I know I'm 7 months too late, but to answer your question 'what could go wrong by staying in veg mode up to 7 weeks'... Theoretically nothing. A friend of mine had a mother plant kept in veg for 3 years. Your only concerns are height and preventing it from getting root bound. Pruning, HST, LST, and root pruning will be your allies. I am working on a BC diary on here as well. Great grow btw. Kudos on keeping up with the weekly entries as well.

F*ck*ng hell... I don’t know what sh*t you have used bro... but it is a disaster... Why didn’t you use Sierra Natural Science SNS-217 for spider mites ??? 😳😞

thanks, guys, yes really brutal... the two plants are still producing buds, although not sure if they should be bigger? but they smell nice and are very sticky. We be doing a water change today, and will update with more pics
