Dr.seeds GG#4

End of 3rd week. Good genetics, just wondering about dr.seeds reputation. Hoping they are really a strain of gorilla glue. 4 days for seeds to pop. Planted into 4 inch pots. After 1 week transplanted to 5 gallon pots.

First journal but 45 yrs worth of experience. About my 40th grow indoors Went from 600 ppm (Hanna scale) 1.2 ec To 700 1.4 Plants loving it. I use the growboss nutrient monitoring system. Plants are fed once a week and watered once in that week as well. Plants are gonna want higher by next week. Will increase to 800. One big humidifier, one small. Having a hard time keeping above 50% humidity with this cold dry weather were having. I run a whole home air exchanger in my room so co2 levels would be the same as outdoors pretty much. Only downfall is it sucks the humidity out of the room when it is cold and dry. When put into flower I will run some extra c02 by using the vinegar and baking soda trick.(slow drip from the vinegar into a pie plate with baking soda). All in all a very vigorous grower and definitely a sativa strain with the giant leaves. Always found with giant leaves comes giant buds.

Going into the 5th, week. Upped ppm to 750-1.5 ec. Plants growth is fast. 24 inches on the tallest 22, 15 and 15 inches. Runoff ph is 6.0 after feeding today. Runoff ec levels are at 1.6. Still running light at 750w. All looks good so far.

Big girl grew so fast she got to close to the sun at the beginning of the week and took a couple of bleach spots on two sets of leaves. Recovered fine. Big girl is at 30 inches next is 27 inches and the two others are at 21 inches. Switching to 12/12 tomorrow so will increase floranova up to 800 ppm their next feed. Trouble free grow, just the way I like it.

Tomorrow will be a week in 12/12 cycle. Big girl 35 inches next girl 31, 27 26. All is going smoothe not stretching to much, the way I like it.

Upped the girls to their max for stretch. Next feed will be half bloom, half grow at 600ppm, 1.2 ec. Everything went smooth in their second week of 12/12 Button size buds on all the girls now. I expect the next 3 weeks to be very explosive bud growth. For gorilla glue#4 there sure wasn't much stretch going on, not what I expected. I will let the girls get a lot bigger the next go round. Big girl went from 30 inches from the start of 12/12 to 39 inches Next big girl went from 27 to 35 inches. Next two went from 21 to 28 inches. All their energy is now switching to bud formation.

June 18th, girls are doing amazing now. Girls are taking up 6 feet of a 6x8 foot area Buds stacking up very well with the floranova bloom, and Massive bloom formulation. It's great to see amazing results with the KISS method, The gmslave way, with minimal work and effort comes bigger results. Sunday- Tomorrow will be third week into 12/12 done, girls have one week of budding done. Things are going very good, no problems so far. Girls are filling in nice. Ph at 6.2 going in and 6.2 coming out. 1.2 ec gonna go to 1.3 their next feed. Buds are forming very fast. Everything is going as expected and planned. June 16th everything is rocking Watered girls this morning 6.1 ph going in 6.1 ph coming out. 680 ppm 1.36 ec coming out. Using Floranova bloom for the first time, seems to be working well alongside the massive bloom formulation. Things going as expected so far... Smell seems to have backed off a little June 17, Trichs starting, buds are in overdrive. Buds are stacking and fattening very quickly. First time for floranova bloom and so far I'm impressed. June 18th, girls are doing amazing now. Girls are taking up 6 feet of a 6x8 foot area Buds stacking up very well with the floranova bloom, and Massive bloom formulation. Going to push it up to 1.4 ec 700 ppm. 450 ppm 0.9ec floranova bloom and 250 ppm 0.5 ec of Massive bloom formulation for the total of 700 ppm or 1.4 ec Getting some yellowing leaves, so, I start nutes low 600 ppm when going into flower nutes, normally I can stay there till later flowering. Now I cant say it's the floranova bloom not as effective as the canna terra flores because I have never grown this strain before and gg#4 is suppose to be a little heavier feeder. But by the leaves turning a little yellow means they want more food but I don't want to overfeed so I go up 50ppm each time. I seen they need more after the water in between feed day. Waiting till feed day, which is today. I'm thinking I may go up 100 ppm today to 1.5 ec. We'll see. I did up the nutes to 1.5 ec See how that goes for the week. Growboss screwed up last night. Took it apart and was able to fix it,,,,thank god

Girls are finished 2 weeks of budding now. Buds are rocking so dont come knocking. Little premature yellowing due to low feeding. Increased ec to 1.5 750ppm and they have slowed yellowing. Higher nute run the the next ladies in veg. All in all things are going as smoothly. Should be nice huge nuggies when their finished. 4 to 6 weeks to go. June 22nd girls are starting to fill out now, but still putting on length. All is good. June 23rd ladies are looking real good. Would have been better with a little extra nutes when I first went into 12/12 cycle., but a new strain to me and she likes her food. June 23rd Watering day. PH 6.3 in and 6.3 out. Last feed was at 1.5 ec 750 ppm The runoff ec came out today at 1.0 ec 500 ppm. I'm starving my girls, should have skipped watering and did another feed. They are lapping up the nutes at an alarming rate. Never seen the runoff come out 250 ppm lower than fed. At least I know there isn't any salts building. 1.6 their next feed.. June 25th Fed the ladies at 6.1 ph and 800 ppm 1.6 ec 550 ppm of floramnova bloom and 250 ppm of Massive bloom formulation. Runoff came out at 6.0 ph and 600 ppm. Thinking these ladies want even higher but increasing feed by the week. Time spent in the room today got my eyes burning it is getting do dank.

Buds are still putting on lenght but their going to start swelling good soon. Their starting now. Length should slow now and bud swelling should take over. Going into the room actually burns your eyes from the dankness.... Can't wait. June 30th Girls are changing to put on bulk and weight now. Grabbed a lower bud for density check. Buds are pretty sticky and very hard. Going to be some good weight coming in the next 3 weeks. Wife came into visit the girls last night and went back out 2 minutes later saying her eyes were burning. Said, welcome to my world... July 1st Watering day for the girls. Ph 6.2 in and 6.1 coming out. Last feed was 800 ppm, 1.6 ec, Runoff ec after watering was 500 ppm, 1.0 ec These girls are asking for more food please and I will respond with 900 ppm, 1.8 ec next feed.. after the week of 1.8ec I will start lowering feed for the ripening process. Girls are putting on weight before my eyes now. Thinking my smallest girl will bring at least 5 oz dried. Branches are heavy already.

Yes, bud swelling time, my favourite time. Girls took 1.7 ex today 850 ppm. Today is the first day I fed and the runoff came out higher, finally. Reached their limit on nutes and time to draw back. Runoff came out at 2.0 Very dank in there now. Having a hard time trying to get humidity down under 42. Dehumidifier is running 24/7 Turned lights down to 750 watts to battle the heat were having. All in all I am not very impressed with these girls, looking to replace my old strain and the trich development doesnt even come close to my KK I had the priviledge to grow the last 4 years. Not saying that GG4 wouldn't be good enough, I just dont believe these are them or a strain worth growing. I know I will never buy beans from Dr.seeds again. July 8th Watering day. Last feed couple days ago was at 850ppm 600 ppm of floranova bloom and 200ppm Massive bloom formulation. Ph was 6.3 in out was 6.2. Runoff ppm was 2.1 Runoff today was 600ppm 1.2 ec and ph in was 6.3 and runoff was 6.2 Girls are loving their feed using it up very quickly. Problem is I usually start dialing down now but so much new growth with only a few hairs turning colour, I'm not sure I should yet. Flowers are getting longer and thicker everyday. Want this run to finish sooner than later but like Heinz ketchup she making me wait....

Girls are putting on some good weight now. Were getting near their end soon. Rapid new growth, calyxes swelling, beautiful things happening now. Girls got what may be their last feed today. Runoff ppm last watering was 1.2 ec, fed today at 1.2 ec and runoff was 1.6 Its stinky in there. Dank ass stuff, very sticky on the fingers July 14th the girls are putting on size before my eyes now. July 16th Watering day for the girls today. 6.3 ph in 6.1 out. Girls when last fed runoff was 1.6ec runoff after water today was 1.0ec Thinking their going to get another feed in a few days. Lots of white hairs still, no ambering trichs.

2 weeks to go, stripping the girls down, 2 to go, buds are doing great things now. Calyxes swelling new one's a popping. Took some bud from the lower branches for a little taster. First couple puffs of the joint you can almost tastes like a diesel fuel but smooth and come in after smoking one and I think you can even smell like a diesel fuel. Weird, definitely buying pot of gold for the next run. July21st Girls are looking pretty good. Fed at 750 ppm 1.5ec yesterday, ph in 6.2 ph out 6.1 Ec in 1.5 ec out 1.5 July 25th Girls are on the last legs. Watered at 6.3 ph runoff came out at 6.2 Ec came out at 1.0 In the next week they will receive 2 more waterings and they should be down to my well water ppm of 100, 0.2 ec and down the girs come. Branches are so heavy now some have folded. Been a good grow.

Last week for the girls. Their sitting on death row. Branches breaking their so heavy. This time next week I will be in trim mode. Only part I dont like. Had a close look at the trichs today, about 5% ambered already. Should be at the 30% mark by Sunday harvest day. July 30th Took down the smallest girl a little over 1 1/2 pounds wet thinking 5 to 6 oz dry. Definitely a GG#4 Strain. Literally have to clean trimmers every 5 minutes. Pain in the butt and back. Danny danky, wife says it smells like a skunk sprayed.

Wife gone visiting for the harvest. Buds are very dense. Some tops weighing 5 ounces. Very easy grow, no problems. Took 1 plant down last week, 6 ounces dry from the small girl. Took 2 plants today 3 1/2 to 4 lbs wet. 1 plant left to trim and has more on it than the first two I done today. No buds small enough to use for extracts. Very sticky and stinking things out right now. TIME TO SIT BACK AND SMOKE ONE. Cheers to all my friends that followed. And hope your harvest tops mine.
