I take large branches with multiple tops as clones. I do this in order to shorten veg time. I stick the branches into a hydroponic cloning system.
I usually veg for about 3 weeks and run the lights on the lowest intensity and then slowly turn uo the intensity over that 3 week period.
Week 2 i have added a scrog and bent the plants down pretty low.
They were heavily defoliated to get rid of any old leaves and left only a few leaves on each top.
Will top them later on once they've adjusted to the scrog.
Week 3.
Increased the EC.
Will probably be the last week before flip.
They have grown exponentially and filled the scrog and are in desperate need of a defoliation. The humidity has been difficult to keep down because of the size of the plants and the density of the canopy.
The lights are on full intensity so it creates a bit of a yellow hue on the picures.
Plants been growing like crazy had to defoliate twice this week.
All is going smoothly, its just been hard to keep the pH stable as the plants have been drinking the entire system dry within two or three days so ive started topping up the system every day which seems to have solved any issues. Preparing for the stretch which i imagine will be monstrous.
Everything has been running smoothly.
Plants are starting to show some pistils and a bit of a smell is developing. I stopped foliar spraying them and increased the amount of bloom.
Thankfully the stretch has slowed down as i was begining to run out of height.
My dehumidifier seems to not be coping because i need to empty it twice or even three times in a day and the humidty is only set to 75, i fear for when it has to be set to 50 or 45 if it doesnt cope ill have to buy a new one.
