Hello, I’m growing first time and my seed came from some weed which I have bought on street so don’t know getting boys or girls I hope someone will reed this and look at my pics and help me to know what I having😂
Few days ago noticed few fruit flies around plants and today I was wotering tham and its much more of tham. My question is are thay dangerous and what suggesting to do about tham.
If your sure it's fruit flies and not fungus gnats.. Fruit flies can start buzzing around poorly composted soil which contains kitchen scraps, but otherwise, fruit flies are uncommon in the grow room unless there’s ripe/rotting fruit or other tasty bits for them to eat.
So once you get rid of their food, the fruit flies will disappear. If it's fungus gnats some yellow sticky traps help and so can a neem oil spray solution.

I have looked on internet and I think that its fungus gnats. In my case I must spray pots with neem oil, soap and water mix? And I must spray all pots even in holes if understand right.
Looks everything is going good except those fungus gnats, neeam oil helping to reduce numbers but stil some flies around. Thinking to use nematodes if they don’t die off in one week.
Mix them with some lukewarm water and apply them 20mins after your lights go out. They are kinda sensitive to light.
Dont forget to keep the soil wet for some time (but not to much water) and in around 4-5 days the gnats are gone.
Finally I think have won fight against fungus gnats. Used neem oil, yellow sticky paper and nematodes finished job. Everything else is good I think. If someone have to say something post coments. And thanks for looking 😀👍
It’s sixth week in to flowering and I think they going good. But fungus gnats coming back slowly flying some around and I have some stick to yellow paper so probably nematodes gone and thos coming back🤦♂️ Hope I can controle numbers with sticking paper.
The bottom leaves shows a lack of phosphorous (flower nutes), unfortunately biobizz is not very concentrated, which means you end up using much more than the recommended amount. The top leaves is probably a calcium deficiency, which biobizz has very little, usually the needed calcium is present in tap water, but for places with very soft water, a cal mag supplement is needed.
Having some nutes problems but hope that thay would be solved by increasing dosages of cal mag and bloom and fungus gnats back but don’t want to spray with anything because not much left till harvest only yellow paper using. And water drinking less than week before.
you are having a lock out. your ph is off, first do a flush until you have a 6.0 ph reading. let your pot dry out for a few days. the first feed you do start at half your nutrient strength.
add cal mag to you mix. aldo you will want to use a foliar spray of Epsom salts-( magnesium sulfate.) for faster absorption of the magnesium the plant needs
your new growth of the upper will improve and start looking good again, your leaves that are damaged that are the bigger ones you will have to remove but only after you have new fresh growth.
spray for a week only with the Epsom salts
make sure your fan does not give the wind burn next. blow the fan on the tent wall. hope this helps
