We are starting our first little outdoor/greenhouse grow. I built a little 8x8 poly greenhouse last summer and decided this year I'd try a spare auto seed I have out there. I've prepared a spot by amending my garden soil with seasoil potting mix, locally sourced black soil, organic sea compost and EWC. This is a Canuk Quarter Pounder Autoflower. It's #3 out of a pack, the first two are blooming inside right now so I'm curious to see how this will turn out in the greenhouse. Germinated in paper towel, popped after a day. Then we planted it in a little starter pot, (in which I've cut out slots for the roots to grow through the sides and bottom) and placed inside another pot to start. Started a little slow, the soil was a bit heavy for the little girl. But once established after a few days we popped the slotted pot out and buried it in the prepared garden bed in the greenhouse. Been there a couple days now and she's doing ok. Was a little worried about temperature swings this time of year, during the day it gets up to 30c inside the green already, and night drops to 10c. RH also swings from 30-60% but doesn't seem to phase her. Breeder says the strain can grow tall, but the first two have stayed short and bushy under an LED (first grow diary) so we'll see. Excited for my next learning experience. Any thoughts or advice is welcome.

Not much to report. No issues so far, she's building roots and should start growing in size and with more speed over the next week. Only concerns will be temperature once we get into summer, it's already constantly up 30c during the day now. Might have to open up the greenhouse more somehow.

Keeping it simple, just watering every couple days when the soil drys out, gave a little bit of fertilizer mid week to see if she responds. Shes got a bit a twist to her and one leaf got a bit weird but she looks good otherwise.

She's growing great. One interesting thing is one node branch is growing out a bit funny, hard to see in the pictures but it's growing in almost as thick as the main stem and has "topped" itself twice already, so it now has three tops off the one branch! Form of fasciation? The other Quarter Punder's I'm growing have also done similar things, guess this strain is just prone to it. I also attempted to FIM for the first time a week ago. But it doesn't look like I took enough off I think and it looks like the girl hasn't even noticed what happened lol. So instead I'll just LST it (want to keep it low and bushy). She's starting to show sex also, definitely female, next week will likely be first week of flower.
