I have been very busy and missed a week of updates, but the plant has been doing well! The buds have kept swelling up, and with the start of amber trichomes I have begun the harvesting process.
I had a bit of a photography disaster, when I attempt d to get the plant out of the tent and into natural sunlight for some final photos. Instead branches sagged in every direction and threatened to topple the plant. My tent is way too undersized for how big the plants I have been growing, so there are some massive top buds with tiny larfy buds further down the canopy. But this will be a very bountiful harvest, and I will have lots of photos of dried buds and trichomes soon! 👍
Omg! Dude! You got a KAREN! Lol let me explain...
If you look at my current journal you will see who Karen is. In your pics I can see a runt with her leaves all mutant like mine! LOOK AT MINE! Yours is about to explode and surprise the shit out of you.
@GutterHoe, yeah it's definitely the same issue! This Blackberry plant is actually unaffected, but my Auto Blackberry Kush which is right next to it has all the traits of your "Karen" plant. It's the second time I have had a purple/black budded strain do it, and after researching it pretty heavily I am convinced it's a genetic issue that comes along with breeding for deep colors. The plant with the twisted growth is budding very well now and is pretty vigorous with deep red/black tones so I can forgive it for the fucked up growth! 🙂
