Day 8
Its starting to get warmer out so I got the AC and humidifier setup and working beautifully. Definitely going to be needed once we're running both lights. Hoping the ladies react well to the humidity fix!
Day 10
The plants are loving the humidity! Staying close to 50%. Looks like a couple plants are showing signs of slight overwatering. As long as that is the only issue they should prop right back up in the next couple of days.
Day 11
My new light has arrived and I couldn't wait to get it shining on the little ones! Before hanging the light, I took some simple lux measurements and was amazed that the Spider Farmer output almost Double the value at the same height when compared to the mars. This is also achieved while saving about 200W. The spread seems to reach into each corner of the 4x4 space nicely and I'm excited to see how the girls react.
Day 12
Some of the plants are Drooping unlike I've ever experienced. The leaves are firmly growing downwards which would lead me to believe it was overwatering or being root bound; however, I've had plants in solo cups Much longer than this without issue. A combination of these possibilities lead me to just transplant early into dampened (not wet) soil. I pH adjusted the water to 6 as well to help with Phosphorus absorbtion. I will begin adding nutes week 3 on their next watering.
