Ok so really big week now and really big results... i am eating breathing and sleeping w farming knowledge from forums to articles to videos to books, you name it... well i am no master bt wow I am super happy w results I am getting. These three are my babies, i love them. The big pineapple express went through some trimming and is goin through minor lst to get light all over this beast. She is finally developing a really pungent citrus skunky cheesy smell... as of the WW she is showing more developed bud formations but no smell really. My deficiencies seem to be controlled now and my plants are looking healthy. I have set up my carbon filter now since the smell called for it, looking fwd to get my dehumidifier in the next 3 days & yeah so far we are on a GREAT path... thanks everybody for viewing my dairy and for coaching me and giving me feedback... srsly thanks for the support overall :D
@@frags, thanks brother, im stressing a little bit thinking if the height of my tent will suffice the plants needs. bt so far looking good.. thanks bro !
If you were watering every day, that's too much. Let the soil dry out a bit between waterings. I grow in coco and water my young plants once every three to four days. Smaller plants don't use nearly as much water as a flowering plant.
I would also recommend you transplant out of that pot ASAP and into something that will let the roots breath a bit and provide proper drainage. Find an air pot or grow bag or something similar.
Hello dude, she looks like she gonna have som serious stretch in next weeks. i can see that you added new led light to your setup and i can see the benefits on your lady. She have noticable growth at last week. im looking forward to your next update bro and i wish you best of luck
cont from the picture cmmt, i have a T5 24W 2600k light and 2 Plant lights i got from home depot. The t5 light is about 10 inches feom the big PE plant and about 15 inches from baby
@3percos, never not nutes imo; some soils like ocean forest hold enough for just water for a while but not forever. i would love to have the ease and cleanness of pure water grow but afaik i would only be comfortable... if i had a huge compost pile id put 200 bux of soil amendments in and left cooking for months.
not all nutes are as nasty as each other, keep in mind! consider an organic nute line, though i hear they stink. I grow in coco so i use canna coco from the first true leaves at the proscribed weak rate.
@Jaindoh, haha thanks brody !! Its my 1st grow so looks like im back on track now, would u recommend any nutes anytime soon? I rather work w no nutes bt i understand its vital for some growing phases
@3percos,in same tent no way man! i had same problem bro i ordered some autos and photoperiods. firstly i dropped 2 autos and 1 week later 2 photoperiods. i just start the autos before bec they have approx. 1 months for have some noticable structure and i gave 20 hours light to them. after 6 weeks i switch to the 12/12 light schedule but in this period my photop. strains were have some good structure. i highly reccommend that do not change your light schedule back to 20hours cuz its may stress your PE and let can her back to the veg stage. you can check @Tonino diaries so you may have idea what can happen after light leak.
Your autos are still little ok they will keep grow but i believe that it will reduce your yield so you need to give more light to them outside of the tent do you have any chance for it? or just let them do their job with 12 hours. and all plants looks a bit droopy after 12 hours darkness dont worry about that if they looks normal after lights on
@@frags, I totally understand that but i am also starting to flower my PE so that kind of causes me to be a little stuck here.... however i read that my autos will still grow, is there anything you might recommend for me to do? or some type of altered schedule to work for my flowering and my autoflowers... any advice would help.... THX FOR LOOKING
Hey, sorry I missed your nutrient question last week but florabloom should do fine. I'd only increase the grow (nitrogen heavy) part if the yellowing deepens.
Progress looking real good!
@3percos, I always followed the GrowWeedEasy (corny name but good site) guides, and the watering guide always said to let the top inch dry out (fungus gnats lay their eggs in moist top inch). The roots need to breathe as well. The fabric pots help a lot with that but you only really want the bottom majority of the pot wet with some air getting to the topmost bits of the roots. With one plant I'd be surprised if half a gallon every 3 days wasn't TOO much. Gardeners always say "water infrequently but thoroughly" and I find cannabis in soil no different.
As for trunk diameter, I use coco coir which gives a lot more vigor than I got out of bagged soil. Living soil I've seen give really good results like coco but I don't have a compost heap with 200 bux of amendments lol. Training increases stem and branch diameter, as well as supplemental potassium silicate (though this is much less needed in soil). That combined with my strategy of keeping the plant low contribute heavily to their trunk/branch diameter and vigor.
Bigger trunks = better water/nutrient flow. Add a healthy root system, good humidity/temperature (so important, affects how plant breathes/wicks moisture from medium), and dense nodes from keeping your lights close, and I get good results.
@Jaindoh, thanks dude and btw i saw your diaries.. how do you get your stems that strong, mine is puny compared to yours... also how often should i be watering and do you think a gal is enough?
New light, new bag hype! Progress looking great!
In the future I don't know if the risk of a second transplant shock to go starter pot -> 3 gal -> 5 gal is worth the benefit; try going from the smaller container straight into the final and see what that does.
At this point I have stopped using intermediate containers and go straight from the starter pot -- bottom half of a 2L bottle with holes in it (and no perlite) -- to a 3 gal.
Curious as to the other growers' with transplant experience in this regard as I am attempting to refine my transplanting technique myself.
@Jaindoh, yeah i wasnt too sure about the transplant into the 3gal either but i read that the 5gal would never grow to its full potential in my small grow tent... well anyways i am looking fwd to see how this goes now... so far they look healthy and today i started my LST....
ya looks like sounds like overwatering
check growweedeasy for all their tutorials, but their watering guide will show you the basics: lift the pot to determine weight, check a knuckle deep wait until its dry that much.
wait a couple days to water, she'll likely perk up instead of drooping worse, that will be your sign.
