Have some Hurkle regular seeds i got my hands on. I germinated them and they sprouted. Pictures are a real testament to genetics, and pheno types. all planted same day other the same circumstance and rotation in hot spots. all diff sizes and leaves are a different health. This grow is an experiment the weakest one will stay in the tent and go 12/12 after its first set of true leaves to see quality. the 2 bigger ones will be for an outdoor balcony grow on the lake. Direct sunlight from 6am-2pm. Right now they are in the tent for another week until the temperature is a little more consistent outside. then i will transplant.

Another week outside of veg. Ive begun LST on them early as im on a balcony and have to control its size for the next 3 months lol. Its been great ive got spiders here on the lake but the dont seem to care about the plant. I do have some herbs around them. Sun has been knocking where i live for this week so the stems have fattened up and undergrowth is beginning to show.

Week 5 and the plants love the balcony. I will be buying some things to protect from wind tunnels on my balcony as the plant gets taller. These plants i have to be quite vigilant with lst because i cant let them get to big. The stems are thick and leaves are nice and lush.

So lets get the shitty news out of the way lol the run I had in the 1G pot is deadl lol. I was Lst and realized I snapped the stem at the base. On a good note, the big boys and becoming big boys. Rigorous LST as usual. Im on the balcony and I gotta get that shit in check lol. They love the nutes. Its been a cold week on the lake but they are strong as hell now. Stems are thick so im not concerned with cold nights. I havnt had to bring it inside once. will be doing my normal LST and Defo for another 4-6 weeks.

Week 8 was cool, it seems like the canopy ha gotten as even as its going to get so I will now let them grow out. They are also both female so thats wickeddddd. Still being fed there normal feed. Will switch to a transition bloom feed. Going to get another booster for terpenes. this strain can get real fruity.

Talk to me masters is this a calcium problem? Im also elevated 11 stories on a balcony with 30C temps with no clouds for like 5 days straight now. Can I get sun burn? Odd leaves here and there have it a little but that side is closest to the edge and is exposed the longest.
Solved
Leaves. Edges burnt

this is beginning of potassium deficit. most likely is due to buildup of salts and pH change in the pot. review your watering habits. when watering, water as much as you get some run off in the bottom tray and then remove the water from the tray. You have the cloth pots, so air is very fast to dry the water. When water is dried, the ph in the soil is very alkaline and this locks the salts to the roots. 1st signs will be potassium deficit. You have to act quick, as lack of potassium will lead to decreased size in buds, lack of smell, low terpen profile. To sort this out, just give more water with good nutrients, until you get good run off in the bottom tray to wash the roots, even twice per day if soil becomes dry in the evenings. Monitor for this not to spread.

all the base pins holding the plant down are removed and they are growing now fast and biggggg. Im going to need multiple supports for it I fear this plant is going to be huge. Its in early flower couple pistlls forming. I predict and big big yield with these too. I also switched nutes. The Bio Marine general organics just wasnt doing it with the nitrogen intake even with cal mag. After last weeks defeciency I decided to get something more.

So 1 of the plants is in full flower pistills have popped, the next one is showing early signs of flower and from what i can see is female but still to early for 100%. They are stretching like crazy though and nice and strong . Getting tons of light, and i had to get stakes to secure the stems as we get some wind tunnel up her on the balcony.

They are doing very well and responded to some heavy defoliation. They are both flowering but flowering slowly. They def will be probably be ready early mid oct. Fed every other watering its so nice and healthy. They are also both officially higher than 3ft

I must report some really bad news. I do live on the lake so there is an abundance of spiders. So I do occasionally spray my plant. I 1 of my plants just started dieing slowly leaves still green curling in. Sprayed and kept checking on it. Flushed it with good PH. only water. Then fed again. Nothing saved it just slowly kept dying. As the leaves cupped the spider mites made home in them which I think led ot infestation. The floweres werent developing anymore and every day it kep dying. I made executive dcision to chop it do.wn in fears I may get more infestation. The other plant is doing great no problems there. It is flowering beautifully. Im not sure if this strain is hard to grow or if cbd plant flowers differently. This is my first High CBD plant its supposed ot be a 1:1 CBD THC oh well Ive still got 1 and I cant be more happy lol.

Taking wm all down this week. It's gotten to cold at night and for the most part we have full clouds and some Amber's.. I'm actually going to leave up the 2 white gold for another 2 weeks and bring em in at night. Pink kush is ready so I'll harvest that today. They all smell CRAZY AND PURPLE COMMING IN KN SKME OF THE LEAVES BECAUSE OF THE COLD. The trichs are in abundance I'm excited for dry cure and trim

This week is always fun lol when the plant is in its last week or so of flower and they are just fattening up and stinking and sticky. I'm blown away by this plant like seriously I hope the cure matches terpenes I'm getting right now.
