2020-05-20 (Day 1)
Again big thanks Fastbuds for the Purple Lemonade, LSD-25 and CBD 20:1 samplers! I’ve done the purple lemonade indoors over the winter and although it wasn’t a huge producer it was a beautiful calmag thirsty plant that produced the fruitiest hard hitting buds. The majority of people I’ve given samples to have identified her as there preferred strain. I can’t wait to see what the sun and huge root space will do!
This will be my first outdoor soil grown Auto run and I’m more than excited. She’s planted beside an LSD-25 in my vegetable garden. The soil rendered big tomatoes, cucumbers and one large cannabis plant last year sans nutrients. I’ve amended it this year with some soil from the cows barnyard and if necessary I’ll top dress with some Gaia Green supps. There is still a chance of frost at night but I really doubt there will be any. For now I’ve covered them with some clear Tim Hortons cups to increase the humidity. I can’t wait to see how these girls do outdoors in the super hot Ontario summer. I can’t wait to see this bad boy grow beside the rest of my fruits and veggies, I also can’t wait for the amazing fruity aroma to develop again! Thanks again Fastbuds!
2020-05-27 (Day 8)
Well these girls are thriving in an early summer heat wave. +33 and humid the last coupe of days and no rain. I couldn’t grab any Gaia Green at the hydro store so i think I’m going to grow nuteless until a deficiency develops, at which point I’ll correct with GHE Floratrio and liquid CaliMajic. The one plant I grew in this flowerbed last year didn’t show 1 deficiency so fingers crossed it wasn’t a fluke.
Fingers crossed 🤞 I get a purple pheno. If not I still won’t be disappointed as this is such a good tasting and hard hitting strain! 🍇
2020-06-03 (Day 15)
I’ve come to the conclusion that these girls are very unlikely to suffer any deficiencies growing in this flower bed without supplemental nutes. If I run into deficiencies later on I’ll try and amend them, likely with GHEs FloraTrio.
She’s growing great, temps have tapered of and we’ve gone from a hot dry week to a cool rainy week. She endured one day of high winds and is still thriving!
The soil I added this year must have had an abundance of seeds in it as you can see in the pictures the weeds are thick. Haven’t had too much time to weed in the last couple weeks with the new addition to the family but hopefully by next update the garden should be weed free (except for my special weeds). 2 more weeks or so and we should see some purplish flowers popping off! 🌺 💐 stay tuned!
2020-06-10 (Day 22)
Growing great and no preflowers yet. She should be starting soon and I can’t wait! Really hoping for the purple pheno! She’s endured a hot week with some high winds but she’s just thriving! Stay tuned! Excitement will begin soon!
2020-06-17 (Day 29)
She’s growing a little slower and flowering a little later than the Purple Lemonade I grew indoors over the winter. I’m going to attribute it to the lack of nutes this go around, I figured the sun would make up for it but I‘m starting to think I may pump some juice to my autos once flower hits. Stay tuned, she should be flowering by next week!!
2020-06-25 (Day 36)
She’s stretched but she’s still the smallest of my current autos. I also think I may have a greener pheno again this time. Not heartbroken with the colour, as long as she has the same aromas and tastes as the last time, amazing. This girl should start fattening up!
2020-07-02 (Day 43)
Watch these ladies start packing on the weight! Been beauty weather and these girls just look so healthy! She’s bigger than her sister I grew indoors this winter so I assume she’ll yield more. Stay tuned to find out!
2020-07-09 (Day 50)
Sunny as fuck and hot as balls, near 40 C with the humidex. She’s bulking up nicely and smelling wonderful! Definitely larger in stature than the one I grew inside this past winter, due to the larger root zone and 10000x better lighting haha. No nutes and watering every 5 days or so with straight tap water. Stay tuned and watch her fatten up!
2020-07-16 (Day 57)
It’s cooled down and there’s been some minor rain over the weekend. This is definitely a different pheno than what I grew over the winter as there is zero colour change. It is however consistent in the aroma it puts off, very fruity and pleasant. Buds are thickening you and are beautiful, I just love this strain!
2020-07-21 (Day 62)
Likely 1 more week! We’re in the home stretch! This won’t be a big yielder, but it is a fan favourite for sure, great affects and wonderful fruity taste/smell. Open my patio door and you get blasted with a mixture of wonderful aromas!
