Germinated in jiffy pellet then directly into final pot.
This will be a test of the best techniques learned... looking to maximize yield, potentcy/terpenes and cycle time, while keeping required maintenance to minimum.
TOPPING - All will be topped on Day 21
BLUMATS - Using Blumat watering tech
SCROG - Using screens to spread branches
MICROBES - Mykos, Recharge, Mammoth P
DAY 1
Humidity dome on.
DAY 7
All doing well. Have been feeding the microbes and Mykos and wetting the medium. Mykos will accelerate growth below the surface.
7.2
DAY 11
MC 3g/gal
Silica Blast
Sweet Candy
CalMag
Recharge
Drenched with 32oz ph'd water then fed with additional 32oz to runoff to set moisture for Blumats. Installed Blumats in medium but turned off until tomorrow.
DAY 12
Filled res with 3g/gal mc.
Drip clean
Ph to 6.7
Set all Blumats to a hanging drop...minus. This should be the beginning of a very beautiful thing as all are looking good already.
COBs
Blumats
Coco
SCROG
DAY 14
Very nice vegetative growth. Blumats are very effective.
Begin week 3
DAY 17
With Blumats set up, all are doing very well. Will install the SCROG screens after topping. She is largest of all and getting really big.
DAY 19
Growth has been explosive.
DAY 28
She was topped and the SCROG was added a week ago. She got above the scrog too quickly and some branches were damaged/lost trying to get her back under the screen. A couple more branches are reaching skyward. She's a mess. Will let her go as is.
Begin week 5
DAY 29
She's a bit of a Frankenplant. She escaped the scrog and now has 3 branches shooting up from her center. Maybe I'll supercrop all 3 and weave under screen.
DAY 31
Supercropped the escaped branches and wove into screen.
DAY 35
She has filled the screen.
DAY 30
Supercropped the 3 stems that got above the screen. Wove the back under the scrog.
DAY 32
She has recovered and has filled the scrog screen. Blumats are supercharging everything in the tent.
WEEK 6
DAY 36
She has filled the screen and is sending her canopy higher. She was the largest and healthiest before the scrog and is now growing aggressively.
(DAY 42)
END OF WEEK 6
Changed the resevoir on Saturday or Sunday and did not open valve. Plants dried out and are wilted with dead leaves all over.
Gave all a 30oz feed of microbes (recharge + mammoth p) and another 30oz from the resevoir.
(DAY 42)
END OF WEEK 6
Changed the resevoir on Saturday or Sunday and did not open valve. Plants dried out and are wilted with dead leaves all over.
Gave all a 30oz feed of microbes (recharge + mammoth p) and another 30oz from the resevoir.
BEGIN WEEK 7
DAY 43
Just when things were going too f*ing well, I cleaned the resevoir and left the main valve off for 2+days. After discovering the entire tent severely wilted and attempting 24 hrs of re-hydration, trimmed all dead/damaged material...which was a substantial amount. Re-filled and reset Blumats.
The timing of the issue couldnt have been worse...being when they were raging so hard. Slammed the grow into reverse for the time being.
Hand watered 30oz Recharge/Mammoth P feed. Re started Blumats. Hoping good care until the end helps the recovery.
FUCK!
Begin week 8
Recovery continues
There was damage from the watering mis-hap, and now with the recovery there is signs of deficiencies and/or ph flux, but she continues to grow strong.
She was spread out under the screen but has since grown through it and it is all quite uncontrollable with the larger plants in front and hoses connected to pots preventing their removal. Her branches that have shot skyward are lined with buds and should fill in nicely.
Blumats have been responsible for such a good recovery.
Begin week 10
She continues to thicken. She has turned positive with regard to overall health. Starting to build some nice colas.
DAY 64
Pulled her tent mates out and cleaned dead/dying leaves from her undercarriage. Some of her tallest, fullest colas are branches that reached out beyond the edge of the scrog screen. She's looking healthy and has a sea of colas reaching from under/around the screen.
DAY 69
Allowed the resevoir to go empty (again) and she got dried out. She is dead, so will harvest.
Both PRB and the Triple Grape that were in the rear of the tent with scrog screens didnt survive the 2nd empty resevoir. She fared slightly better as her buds are not completely dry and she may have some salvageable buds.
She could have been the monster of the tent.
DAY 77
She died and then dried in the pot for about a week. Her salvagable buds were heavy with resin. Trimmed and put into the Herbs Now drier to finish.
Buds have a darker coloring and a sweet berry smell. While this entire grow will turn out to be a disappointment, 100g is a pleasant surprise.
After much neglect, she grew and dried herself. Buds are very sticky and smell great. I can already tell that after some time curing, this will be a great one... despite my poor care.
