Well these girls smell great, Had a few issues along the way but I can chalk that up to indoor inexperience. Overall I am satisfied with how theyou turned out. I am guessing close to a qp on the scales but won't know until it's dried/cured.000
That is key, if you have a peat based soil, as the soil degrades it become more acidic so even though your pH going in is 6.8-7.0 doesn't always mean that's what the soil is going to be at. The yay to test the pH comes out is to try and ketch the water coming out right away don't let it pool them collect to test. If it comes out the same then that's your ph of the soil. If it goes down then you know your soul is acidic, and vise versa.
@WeirdBeard, everything looked cool with the pH test...it comes in at 6.5 and out at 6.4 so I flushed her with 15 gallons of pH water and let her drain out.
If this doesn't work I have read an extended dark period can induce flower...any thoughts on this? I really don't want to have to pull her out everyday and stick her in a closet.
Everything I read about autos say they are suspect to nutrient burn...change is hard and this is my first I door grow so I am just keeping an eye on them like my first born. Of the 3 strains I am running these look the best and might just be doing fine on the FFOF mix I am using. Next watering they will get bites for sure.
@Meezer, it could be nitrogen toxicity, a good rule of thumb that I like to follow, is if your plant is doing something weird and you can't seam to narrow it down, do a flush so that you can be certain it doesn't have anything to do with the soil. Just make sure you pH the water. Are you testing the pH of the first runoff after you water?
