Week 5 has come so fast. At this point, I don't know which is more exciting; having a decent size harvest or passing off genetics I dont like to my friends and starting new strains from my little seed bank.

I also discontinued the pure blend tea this week as nearly every ingredient is identical to the pure blend pro, with the exception of worm castings that is only in the tea. I've noticed that the pure blend pro series base nutrients are pretty strong as well and can easily burn your plants if you're not careful.

I love that my setup doesn't require much oversight and only need to water every other day or so. I'm not going to add any boosters, hardeners, sweeteners, or any other additives to my nutrient mix. If it ain't the tasties without all that nonsense, I ain't even gonna mess with it. I'm not growing for profit. I don't care if you think my shit's dank or not. My only goal is to have an unlimited supply of weed that I love. I don't want that brown dry vacuum sealed outdoor bud nor do I want to pay 60+ FKN dollars for an 8th! 😂 All I want is a few extra large mason jars filled with what I would consider my own cannabis cup winning strains without all the hassle of having to deal with anyone. 👌👌

It has begun to heat up already here in sunny California, thanks climate change. Starting with the next watering, I will begin to reduce the nutrients by ~50% and each subsequent watering there after. There's only a few weeks left and It's time to gradually flush these girls out. Also a note for the next flower phase to lower strength of the Pure Blend Bloom as I noticed a small amount to nutrient burn on the tips of the sativas. The indicas don't seem to mind but a slight reduction in nutrients wouldn't hurt either.
Nice explanation bro I'm with you on that that tents looking packed gonna sure fill some jars up 60 for an 8th that's harsh glad I'm not from your area lol I'm trying no boosters or pk with my latest grows can only make it cleaner like u say if it's not in there without then can't be that good happy growing brother
@biggreens420, Im sure there's plenty of people willing to grow, however, out here, you'll need to have big money to get in the game. Cultivation land in my area is currently going for $1 million (US) per acre; and that's without a building, just empty land. On top of the 12 different types of licenses the state issues. Too much headache. With a California MMID you can grow up to 100 sq ft or 500 if your a caregiver to 5 or less. Or you could just take advantage of California Health and Safety Code Section 11362.77 (b) that states" If a qualified patient or primary caregiver has a physician’s recommendation that this quantity does not meet the qualified patient’s medical needs, the qualified patient or primary caregiver may possess an amount of cannabis consistent with the patient’s needs." Basically grow/possess as much as you can get your doctor to say you need. The only downside with an MMID is you can no longer buy guns legally, but I love weed more than guns anyways so it doesn't matter. It's also expensive to live here, but I love California.
@TastieTom,man get me to Cali I'd love to grow legal and do it legit ...and I hope that's not the case and they understand people need time to trust especially in the government but like u say u never know I hope not though
@biggreens420, It's kinda yes and no. I could, but If I did, then any nutes still left in the reservoir along with any in my local aquifer water would be uptaken by the plant. I'll do another flush before i cut the indicas and probably another two more before the sativas are finished.
It looks so good this week! Are you sure that its not just a late frosting pheno? I've had a few Gals that swelled Buds to huge before they developed dense Trichomes - Could be that.
@BudKingsGrow, Thank you. I wouldn't mind being surprised, but I won't hold my breath either. There is significant variation between the phenos, leading me to believe that this strain has not been stabilized. A few of them have poor genetic characteristics as well. There's so many strains available on the market today, it makes no sense to keep em if they're not 10/10.
Come to think of it, I might just leave 2 spaces open in the tent for good to test out some new new. Besides getting to try new strains in the mail for every grow might be the very best part about growing cannabis!
A seriously beautiful garden!! I understand wanting to grow for yourself, but remember that we are part of a Community here and you Diaries/Grows make a difference overall for Cannabis culture! Its bigger and far more important than just good Buds for us to puff 😉 Keep that good work coming!!!
Your garden is looking good bro. I'm on my second grow too and learning day by day. How long did you veg those out for? I just put my Critical Kush to flower a week ago so I'm looking forward to see how yours turn out.
@SupaDank, Thanks! In this case, roughly 4 weeks in the tent. But to be fair, I have a separate 24x48 space that I use for my moms and clones under t5 lights. They went from red solo cups then straight into 3g pots, which is not what I normally do, but I had too many strains and not enough room. I usually go from 1/2 gallon pots with coco in veg, straight to 3 gallon pots, then veg another 2-3 weeks before the flipping. I really like the way the critical is growing, but expect the stems to be flimsy compared to the weight of the buds.
Excellent GD Entry this Week! I as well love waking up early and the first thing I do is make a cup of Joe and then open my Grow Rooms up!! There's nothing better than having Ladies in Bloom 😍
@biggreens420, Yes, I took clones to keep the genetics going in case I happen to like them. If I dont like the genetics, I will most likely just give the remaining cuts to my friends and move on to the next batch of seeds in my drawer.
