Iamthejazz123 Growing fast and strong. As soon as I could get to them, I pulled off growth tips from the first and third nodes, I'm going to attempt something like a manifold with this one.
Iamthejazz123 Got a little nitro tox going on, but she's growing real strong, I'll just do plain water next time and she'll shake it off easy.
Day 26: Second topping, done at 4th node on both sides of the plant. Now I'll let it grow, LST new growth tips to spread them out a little.
Day 28: Not a lot going on now, just letting it grow. I'm wondering if it took too long to complete the manifold; it should start flowering soon and the 8 growth tips are pretty small. Stay tuned!

Iamthejazz123 I was starting to wonder if the manifold had stunted this one too much, but now that it's moving into flower and stretch, it's really taking off. It has about a dozen nice budding branches, and it's gaining a lot of height every day now.

Iamthejazz123 Buds setting in very nicely, this plant seems really happy and is praying every morning. Maybe that's because of the efficiency of nutrient movement within a manifold?

Iamthejazz123 The leaves are starting to get a lighter green color to them, some of the lowers are turning yellow and getting brown spots. I gave it a higher dose of nutes and added a little Wholly Mackerel in with it to give it a nitrogen boost, but it may be cal-mag or light bleaching instead. I also raised the light 2 more inches to 24". If it continues to get worse, I'll give it a heavy dose of cal-mag next feed and maybe dim the lights at the driver. Buds still seem to be growing in well, so I'm not too worried, but holy cow, this light is something powerful.

Iamthejazz123 It's been a hot few weeks and unfortunately this thing has really gotten heat stressed. It got up to 87f in the tent several times and it's stayed just over 80 most of the time. The leaves obviously show the stress, but the tops of the buds are also doing just a bit of foxtailing. I finally got a portable AC and added some ducting to pull air from right in front of the AC. Temps inside tent dropped to upper 70s yesterday after all that, so hopefully the foxtailing will stop and the buds will continue to fatten up and gain density. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Iamthejazz123 Just trying to limp through till the end with this one, those couple weeks where the temps got too hot just wrecked this one. I still wouldn't be surprised if I get around 2oz from it, but I suspect the buds will be pretty airy. Hopefully it didn't affect potency.
I gave it a flush this week just to try and reset things in the root zone.
Probably 3 weeks or so from harvest now.

Iamthejazz123 Just hanging on till the end, pistils are starting to turn brown, but I'd guess it's at least 2 weeks to harvest, maybe more. Gave it a plain water feed this week, may just continue with that till the end, it's really not drinking much anyway.

Iamthejazz123 Gave it plain water over a week ago, it's barely drinking. Checked trichomes last night, still mostly clear, going to be 10 days at least till it's ready to harvest. Not sure if I'll flush next feed or give it nutes. Limping through to the end, folks.
Iamthejazz123 This whole grow was just a comedy of errors. Temps got too hot, light was too close (maybe?), overfed, then forgot to water... just glad I got anything out of it at all! It lasted enough to be harvestable, but I would have liked for it to go a little longer. I'll give a smoke report soon.
I was really impressed that I didn't get (much) light bleaching. I got more stretch than I hoped for, and had the top of some buds about 10 inches from my TSW 2000. I re-hung things, and now it's 15" from the tallest, sites, but I absolutely cannot move the light up anymore - there's like 1.5 inches between the light and the top of the tent! Which is a long way to say that at 24", in flower, raising the light might not be needed.
3 weeks is a bit early to be seeing any nitrogen fade, so I'd consider nutrients/watering sched, while not wanting to make any big changes. Good luck.
@Green_Coffee, yeah, you're right. I think this was a heavier feeder than I expected, plus I'm battling really high temps. I doubled the nutes and gave a major dose of cal mag. Seems to have halted the deficiency.
The spacing in your manifold is great! Because of a number of snapped stems that I needed to tape up (and not train for a week while they recovered), my first manifold is much less regular.
@Green_Coffee, I've taken to supercropping my past two or three plants to avoid that very thing. I'll just let branches grow, then pinch and bend them when they're long enough. So much safer and it's never seemed to slow them down.
Sorry for your luck man, I have been struggling with massive Humidity, sometimes you have to play the cards and hope for the best, they still look great!

Awesome, when doing a mainline with autos you have to move fast :) most training like this needs to be completed before the end of week 4 - I just did a modified version of topping that I should be able to produce 8 colas like nug buckets without the mainlining, will shoot up a quick diary if all goes well, and journal the flower and harvest stages of the grow, it is a FastBuds Gelato.
@MrJones, it's just Bush Doctor Coco Loco straight from the bag. Same stuff I've been using for 2 years now without problems. I think it's basically Happy Frog with perlite and some coco coir added.
