So i forgot last week was this plants feeding and it got a 2nd week of feed. Will place it on the same feeding as my Mexican Airlines as they are only a week apart and will be soon ready for harvest. going to the end of the 13th week.
gave this some LST to light into the lower nodes, might have stretched it a bit to much but we will see. everything elce is good about this plant, no problems. the buds are nice and dense now. hoping they continue the tend and grow a bit more.
You definitely know what you are doing and have fun. I used the hen poop . Acti sol. If you add some LAB and mix it in your soil a week before transplanting the pellets get dissovled and converted to food by bacteria. No more stank. I'm now using Earth juice and Optimize organic 444 fertilizer. My goal is flavor .
@TastyBudzz, I do! real easy, I sometimes add in a bit of aged kefir as well. I'm going to be posting a diary on how I do it and make cheese out of it afterwards. You can also take the LAB as a Probiotic.
@m0use,I was having terrible luck with seedlings. Using LAB to soak and germinate seeds gives me healthy results . Did you make your own LAB ? So easy !
Before when I said I had some Acapulco Gold Autos that I got from Barney's I made a mistake it was MJ seeds. Can you do me a favour and see what the pH level is in Toronto tap water my PH metres fucked right now I'm waiting for a new one
@prem895, o yea? When I grow outside my medium is mainly composed of coir/peat and many other things but does not contain top soil or dirt. I also regrow it in year after year so it has aged and has a history, but maybe because I've mixed compost/manure into it I don't have to track PH because its like soil now??
You can use any acid in the water to PH it down. its just how much of it do you need, and some are better quality and last longer plus are better for the soil. I found one web page that listed their water close to 7.4 and how many teaspoons of vinegar or citric acid is needed to get it down, they list PH values from 7 to 4. If I remember correctly it's one teaspoon "5ml" vinegar to 1L of water to get it to 6 or 6.5.
Funny enough I did this, this week, as my plants were having issues with iron uptake "I think" and "I believe" the other nutrient "new this year" was alkalizing the medium to much, so lowering the PH to get the iron unlocked worked as far as I can tell, plants are getting greener, I know there is lots of iron in the medium so adding more was not the solution. Never had to do this previously but maybe it will be a new thing if I plan on using that other nutrient long term, will reveal at end of dairy if it helped yields. Could also add in lots of spent coffee, but I'm sure that would change the microbial life a bit, maybe for the better, more reading is needed.
what PH meter do you use?
also shoppers or any grocery store sells distilled in 4L jugs for around a buck.
@m0use, yeah I'm also oilless I'm going pro mix HP mixed in with Pro Mix vegetable and Herb all mixed together so I got to kind of know what my pH is but Toronto is about 7.4roughly so a little bit of vinegar at this point until I can get some distilled water to get this thing proper. I have both packs of buffer powder the only thing is I need some distilled water
@gottagrowsometime, It was a very tasty strain, I turned it all into butter and liked the high I got from it. chill and relaxed. no paranoia. This strain was discontinued just before the company's EU operation was shutdown, it was from the massive Dinafem shutdown thing, Dinafem managed their EU market, or so they told me this.. Lost some good genetics but still held onto some of the prized ones. Plus they have relaunched their brand, its not the exact same but they have some of their classics still in the catalogue like sapphire and chocolate mint also ghost of NYC. Some nice looking CBD mixes as well with 1:1 and 2:1 ratios too. https://humboldtseeds.org/product-category/cannabis-seeds/
Being a Toronto guy myself I had a good laugh at seeing the CN Tower in the background of your picture and it's all legal and shit that's the amazing thing
@prem895, If your looking to PM someone, you can use the little paper airplane tab in the bottom right of this web page then enter the user, or click on the growers profile and hit chat now at the top right, it does the same thing. You will get a red notification icon in your browser tab that has grow diaries open vs the green swirl when someone messaged you. then just open the chat window from the bottom right paper airplane tab and your good to go.
cheers
Yeah last year was my first year of growing and I grew some Barney's Acapulco Gold auto not too bad three plants one Hermes on me the other two I end up getting about five and a half ounces dried which isn't too bad for my first grow looks like I'm utilizing my green thumb this year
@prem895, I don't see that as an auto on there page? they do have a normal photoperiod one though, maybe it was not an auto?? ether or, that's a good yield for a first grow. Mine was just under a ounce for some OG Kush a few years back. Then I got 3 oz off one photo. hoping to get abut 5 oz of all future photos at least. well see.
@prem895,
Hey hey, thanks for liking my dairy. I see your also growing in TO. A+
I will keep all these in the buckets for there entire life, my autos "Humboldt seeds uk cheese n' fastbuds Mexican Airlines" don't like transplanting to much. and the photos this years "Dinafem Orange Juce + Dinafem Cheese" will also stay in there buckets. but they can be transplanted with ease if needed, but not in flower state. I used to use 5Gal pail like the ones you use, I just found the smaller 3Gal square pails worked better for my space. granted the bigger the bucket the bigger the plant normally. just gotta feed em right. I reuse my soil year after year so i tend to stay away from the synthetic nutes, best to use organic nutrients to avoid any salt buildup and keep the soil microbes happy :) best of luck with your grow.
Best of luck with your 2020 outdoor grow season 🙏
We can't wait to see how our Auto UK Cheese fairs against mother nature 🤗
With love from Humboldt County✌️
Kind regards ✌️
