The little handy

So began the life of this little plant. "Handy" is the name I gave it because its growth was really strange. I didn't think to create a diary for this plant, in fact in the first weeks I didn't take many pictures. But its peculiarity made me think again and so I want to show it to you. I started by planting the seed directly in the ground and after about 4 days of hard work it was able to sprout. For the whole week it grew very little in fact I thought it was almost dead but I wanted to wait to see if something changed and so it was.

This week handy after a long suffering that lasted almost 6 days in which she gave no signs of life she had a push on the first two leaves that in fact made me believe in her, but for the rest of the week she did not change but only got worse.

Another 6 rounds without change. My hopes were now at the end, but handy as his usual can amaze and towards the end of the week he started to stretch in height without enlarging the leaves.

Crazy vegetative recovery ahaha. Handy performed an apical topping by herself starting to develop several hunts on different internodes. Amazing the attachment to life of this small plant that despite being doomed has managed to recover well.

I apologize in advance for not having the photos of this week as it will be for the next ones and I inform you that the photos I will use are not representative but it's just to update the diary. During this week the plant continued to develop the side branches forking into two main branches. Because of the stress it has undergone it has developed a foliage especially at the first levels really strange, which I am sorry I can not show you, perhaps composed of several leaves or a branch but with two leaves developed distinctly on it or branches that grew two or three centimeters developed two or three leaf tips then grew again and developed two or three more tips.

Another week in which the plant is growing very well. As I was saying, it topped itself and continued to grow on two different branches. The leaves are back to normal and everything seems regular.

This is the last week of vegetative growth I had the plant do. It has had a good development during these weeks and I am very sorry I could not satisfy you with the photos because it would also be interesting. Believing in her has been one of the best things possible. From now on we will start with the flowering and I hope everything will go well.

This is handy at the beginning of flowering, I never imagined it would become like this when I saw it the first few weeks. As you can see in the photos, the plant immediately split as if it had come out of the ground, dividing into two main branches which multiply in turn. The leaf pattern is back to normal as you can see and the plant is also reacting well nutritionally.

Second week of flowering went very well. Handy is developing very high and has formed three peaks. Two are the main branches of which one has split again. You can see the first flowers and the smell is spectacular.

Another really good week. Handy's got his legs up and he won't stop growing. The smell becomes more and more intense and pleasant and is very similar to citrus fruits.

The production of buds continues very well and the plant responds quite well to the nutritional cycle.

This week, too, the production of ropes continues very well. There seem to be small nutritional problems but all in all, everything is going well.

We're almost at the end now and Handy's really become a monster. I apologize again for not updating the last two weeks but I didn't have the pictures. The tops are really big and they smell really high.

Last week and the wash is over. By now the leaves seem to have disappeared and it seems to be a plant with flowers only. It's really amazing to think of the first weeks of life and the effort it has made and to see it now so full of buds. I put everything to dry, I can't wait to taste this delight.

The time I kept this plant drying went well. It lasted about two weeks. I hung all the branches in a cabinet to which I gave a constant air circulation and where I kept the humidity values between a minimum of 40% and a maximum of 60%. I preferred to clean the buds from the leaves after drying everything because I think it keeps the pollen above them better. Now I put everything in the pots where I placed the 62% Boveda bags inside. I really enjoyed doing this experience on growdiaries and I think that my stay on this site will not end here.
