Rough week for her.. She was bent down for a few days, long enough for her to obtain a new "top". Since the new top reached the same hight as the previous top, she'll be allowed to grow naturally upwards from here on out. Decent growth this week despite the harsh conditions. She's about 2.5 inches tall, and if the stem was straight it would be a tad over 4. I'm not confident enough in her size for a feeding this week but next week posted she'll get her first full watering and a tad of food.

From what I've seen from other cultivation sites this is by far the best and most friendly. Others seem run by savage and ignorant kids from what I've seen. This place is great, and has the best layout. So glad to hear you employ botanical techniques learned from your grandfather! That there made me smile, and I'm sure you'll be smiling too harvesting! Best wishes, I'll be keeping an eye on your progress.

Like your Garden! Girls seem slightly on the small side for week 3... Any ideas on why?

@Skiffdank, That's pretty amazing that you've been working a hybrid for 15 years! It might be just that, That these new genetics are having a harder time with the growing method... I wouldn't worry too much and see how they go from here.

@BudKingsGrow, Hi friend. I'm not in my normal spot here really, it's too cold out in my shop where I normally grow my clones for outdoors for my summer grow. They're inside, in an area that is very small with zero air flow. I began opening their door and utilizing a fan for a few hours a day just this past week, thinking the same thing you are, coming to the conclusion that it could be lack of air. I considered lights too, as I've never used LEDs before only the T5s in my shop, but then if they lacked light I would expect them to stretch, they could be too close.. I'm constantly adjusting the plant-light distance, sometimes closer sometimes further. I also can see they're far more sensitive to my compost than my genetics guessing from the yellowing, my sensi-star/grapefruit hybrids though aged and far from a modern strain have become locally climatized and used to my growing methods since 2003, perhaps my sticking to the same plants for so long has made me lax or over-confident? I'm not overly concerned yet, they're 22 or so days from sprouting and have started growing faster this past week, the somango has at least 7 weeks of life yet, perhaps more, we'll see how long she'll stay with us. Thanks for reading and keeping watch! Good luck on your farming!

I'm sure she will grow from here. That bend may actually help you yield more. My auto somango took off after week 3. she is on week 8 standing at about 22 inches. Actually I will be harvesting her today if i get a chance hopefully.

@Skiffdank, About the only thing I dont care for on here is that everyone has an opinion! But wait... Thats also one of the things I love about being on here!!! It does get overwhelming sometimes the amount of info and techniques and methods and nutes and lights and Etc. but I find the best solution is always to try and try again until you find something that works for you and that you like!! Cultivating Cannabis should bring elation not grief! Yes, Its always good to learn from others mistakes and advise, but at the end of the day, its your grow and your Ladies 😀 UFO lights are generally around 150w or so, and usually full-spectrum. But they are a nice additive to a grow or perfect for a Space-Bucket grow. My gardening Grandpa taught me about using eggs and feeding plants from a young age! I've utilized that knowledge on all my grows and feel very pleased with the results, so I keep on going... Even if others criticize me for it!

@BudKingsGrow, folks have been trying to give me all sorts of junk since I got talked into an indoor crop. I dont know much about indoor lighting i just use old tube florescents to start my clones each spring, I went out and bought a 100 watt led thats about 11000 lumens but these 90 watt ufo things test under 1000. Maybe the spectrum makes up for it? I like how you're using tomato and garden feed along with eggs, that's brains there my friend, and wise spending!

@Skiffdank, Now that's an idea I've never heard of!! Wish someone gave me 4 UFO LEDs lol!! I put 3 eggs on 3 inches of soil before filling the rest of the pots on all my grows.
