This will be my second attemp at Auto flowers. My last attempt was a bust due to them being transplanted from smaller containers to larger (despite being advised against yhis by numerous platforms). This stunted their growth tremendously and I barely got a joint out of each plant. Sad, I know...
This is an African Amnesia by greensmokeroom seeds. Im using an organic mix specifically recommended for Auto's and will feed vary sparingly and only after day 14. This grow is quite unique in the sence that my plants spend 5 hours, or so, a day soaking up some sun rays and the rest of their time is spent in a grow tent under 300watts of CFL lights. I live in South Africa and we are currently in our winter (we dont have a 'real' winter in the area that I live - controlling the temperatures isnt too hard with CFL lights and a ceramic reptile basking heater) with short days and long nights hence my use of the tent and lights outside.
Learning from mistakes is one of the great things in life so let's see what happens for round two. In addition, I have a Fast Eddy by RQS on it's way.
Happy growing
I'm very pleased with the progress so far. New shoots are looking healthy and we have some branching happening on the lower nodes.
I plan start feeding a light dose of BioBizz fish-mix with her next watering
Despite some bitterly cold weather she seems to be soldiering on! With outside temperatures dropping to around 0°C the 100W ceramic heat globe has been struggling to keep the tent warm. Night temp in tent can drop down to around 11°C in bad cases. Today, I added an additional 75W ceramic heat globe which i hope will make the difference...
Watering with Biobizz fish-mix and I think it's definitely having a positive effect!!
Happy groing
