Organic Pineapple Express

2 seeds out of 10 are no good. Probably will cancel this grow and start something else instead. I am growing together with the legendary and original High CBD Avidekel strain developed in Israel by the dude who discovered CBD&THC (follow my other Diary) and I plan to cross this strain with Avidekel to create new High-CBD feminized strains with interesting terpene profiles.

Starting off slow, but looking green!

Ok - she took 1 week to germinate, then stayed this size since then. Crazy! I have almost throw it out soooo many times.

I don’t know what happened. I put her in a 15L pot with a much larger “Sweet seeds pure CBD” All of a sudden she exploded. She took 1 week to germinate, then stayed microscopic for 4 weeks. There seems to be some hope here. I’m going to LST, then see what happens.

Started off soooo slow, the first 5 weeks it hardly grew at all - I think it was because I shocked the poor seedling by accidentally having extremely acidic soil. After the transplant, In the short timeframe of 2 weeks she took off like a rocket and started to flower and I feel like there is no time for LST - So I’ve released all of the training wires and I’m just letting her go free. Let’s see what happens!

She is looking good, smells amazing - fits in beautifully to our little garden. Very nice plant

Ok - the plant that I thought would forever be a runt is turning into one solid Cola - 2 feet tall. It smells and looks amazing!

Really looking forward to harvesting this girl. Trichomes and Terps are showing up nicely - very fruity - not detecting pineapple yet but really nice. On the grow - I can definitely see how it is not a nitrogen hog - actually would change the nutrients next time around as she’s darker than I would prefer at this stage so I’ve scaled back the nitrogen. Anyway - What started off as a really small, runt of a plant has blossomed into this magnificent 2 foot tall solid bud - not really bothered that I didn’t get time to top + LST

She’s looking large and in Charge... Biggest single cola in the garden by far. Starting to Smell a little bit like Pineapple - so far quite happy with this!! Hoping for some consistency with the pheno bc this has the most outstanding terps - I’d like to cross with a pure CBD strain and see if it’s possible to integrate the qualities of this strain in a high CBD version.

Good Calyx to leaf ratio! The big single Top Bud weight is 3.25oz wet after initial trim!!! I’m hoping for 1oz dry 😁 I made a discovery of some suspicious spots during the initial trim - small withered leaves were poking out in 6 different spots, normally you wouldn't think much of it. Buds are very dense, but I couldn’t resist digging deeper, using my Celestron USB microscope and see what was really going on. Well, I found the areas to be slightly darkened to an amber/yellow colour, and a light gray mould was found in very small patches and visible only in 2 of the 6 spots, the other areas had no mycelium, but still had a characteristic area of amber, with some wilt & yellowed veins, etc. I immediately went in and cut it all out, discarding that material. I searched every square mm of the bud to make sure I got it all. So - what caused it - Rain? They have been kept out of the rain, the only chance is if someone in my family sprayed it - with my little 4 kids running around the backyard this is entirely possible. Damp conditions? Yes - during the last week, overnight temps have dropped and the plants are inside our greenhouse under a 500W LED grow light. I noticed The humidity in there is really high - so I’ve since made attempts to reduce it. Will return to give the final dry bud weight after curing.
