Day 21. They all seem to be doing great! They are all a little small for 21 days but I’ve heard that the Bomb seeds really take off week 4 and 5 so I’m really excited. Fed with blackstrap molasses and water, as recommended by one of you guys, responded wonderfully! My run off is finally to around 6.8 which is good because the pot with 2 plants was having some ph problems. Other than that everything’s good. Thanks for your help guys and as always any more advice is welcome.
One of my plants fans are yellowing, spotting, pretty badly. The medium PH is 6.5, same as my other plants, but she just doesn’t seem to be liking it. I’m using nutrients, but not heavily. About a quarter teaspoon per gallon of the flora trio. It’s the mid fans not bottom or new.
This definitely look like a nutrients burn. How often do you give her plain water and how often do you feed her with nutrients ? Be careful not to give nutrients each time you water her, one feeding every two or three waterings seems to be fine for an auto. I'll be around, good luck with these babies bro !
Honestly, I started over. I have 4 sprouts on day 7 and they all look great! I’ll update this tomorrow with new pictures. Good looking out tho man. I appreciate the concern.

I’m in a 3x3x6 tent, with 2 300W galaxyhydro LEDs, I’m using general hydroponics Flora trio for nutes, I’ve also heard nothing but good things about calmag so I’ll probably grab some of that too.
@Bombseeds, heard nothing but good things from a friend about your genetics. I keep fine tuning my grow as I go. Just got a new temperature humidity gauge and some CalMag today actually. Hopefully it all works out 👌
@Zannabis7, I appreciate it man! I’m taking new pictures daily. Can’t wait till the next week update. The seedling stage always gets me really ancy. They just don’t grow fast enough! Haha
Personally I think it's nutrient related. The tips of your leaves are showing slight nutrient burn so its probably what is affecting your older leaves. Maybe cut back on the nutes a little bit but you don't need to bother
What are you feeding them? What soil are you using? they look nutrient burned/PH issues... rather than light burn. Has the light always been 45cm away?
@PharmaZ, I did not add any extra perlite, ocean forest has some but apparently not enough haha. I’m in 5gallon Airpots so hopefully that gets enough air to the roots still because drainage still seems alright. But I will totally add more perlite next time, thanks for the advice man and happy growing. Until next week!
@CropsNjunk, so your using good soil, did you add any perlite for aeration? You need a good volume of perliteunless you transplant into a bigger pot...
You should be watering 1-2 cups every 2 days for a week till they have a few sets of leaves after then you can drench the pot. It will take a few days to dry at first. There should be no reason to PH your water at this stage when not adding nutes. Some will argue this of course...
You just let the water sit out for a day room temp is best.
The soil contains micro organisms that break down organic matter releasing the nutrients in soluble form to feed to your plants...
Using chemicals kills them, stops them from reproducing and or "working"
If growing in soil you should use some form of carbohydrates like unsulphured molasses with a plain water feed, no nutrients just molasses and water. This feeds the micro heard so they can multiply
The soil also contains certain minerals to buffer the PH to a suitable level for growing cannabis.
You only ever need to PH your water when you you're using high quantitys of chemical nutrients. Some brands are PH balanced out of the bottle.
Of course we are talking strictly soil.
You don't need to flush specifically, but water only for a while might not be a bad idea. Remember, the damaged leaves will not recover, but you should stop seeing new leaves developing issues.
My last grow, I N-burned my plant, and the first signs of it showed in the older leaves. I flushed her and she recovered, but the older leaves still browned and dropped off anyway. I think the plants sacrifice the older leaves to protect the new growth even if you fix the issue. I think so long as your newer growth looks good, you needn't worry. A lot of pros I see defoliate everything below the canopy line anyway, so how valuable can those older leaves really be, amirite? I wouldn't worry if I had your plants, they look beautiful! Grow & learn!
Well, it's bad to stunt them at this stage. However, this plant doesn't appear to be dying at all. For reference, I try to look at it as if the roots were the real plant. The stems are its supply lines, and the leaves are its armor.
AFAIK, when it got burnt (looks like nitrogen toxicity and perhaps not enough air to roots, overwatering or packed soil or w/e, not an expert) it let the armor take the damage. as intended. This will affect its root growth, probably, and during a critical time, but it won't kill it.
So long as it can draw enough power, it should continue to repair itself -- and grow root structure. It might be stunted, but I've stunted more than one plant myself. If nothing else it's a good takeaway; start multiple plants even if you end up culling the ones you don't use or cannot fit. Also if it was a photo, you'd have a chance to give it an extra week or two in veg. The stress might delay the flower onset for an autoflower, which would be for the best at this point.
If anyone else has a better concept of how all this works (i try to just think "early veg is super important") I'd be more than happy to re-think my interpretation. I am not a doctor.
@Jaindoh, i really appreciate the in depth response. I still have high hopes. Because the stem and roots I believe are still in good shape. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
good eye on the backup since you seem to only have room for one.
will be following your progress excitedly i always love the people who grow to learn.
what kind of nutes, light, etc are you planning on using?
