Durban still a bit behind the WD but seems to be coming along fine. I think they both look slightly unhappy after the dowsing I just gave them but I'm expecting them to bounce back quickly. Next week they are going to their new pots.
Transplanted the White Diesel in to its 5 gallon pot but I'm slacking a bit so still got the Durban in the cup .. its looking healthy tho! Gonna do some trimming/training soon and transplant the Durban.
Finally transplanted the Durban to its 5 gallon pot and moved both to their new tent home. Going to start cutting and training these things so they fill up that tent! Not sure the best strategy just yet though .. hmmm
Oy! This Diesel is a real pain in the ass! Every time I touch the damn thing in an attempt to train it , it breaks!! I was reading about such fragility and it seems it could be too much nitrogen - and from the looks of the very green leaves I am inclined to believe it. Gonna just give it water until that dark green goes away. I'm kinda pissed, the duct tape only saved 1 of my many snaps - I think I lost about a week's worth of growth and deformed my plant!! Hopefully it puts the energy in to the remaining nodes. I really hope cutting back on the nitrogen helps, otherwise I wont be able to train it at all! Oh, they Durban is behaving well, so I got that going for me. I also moved them to the 315 watt CMH - I got my priorities straight and gave the cauliflower (see my other diary) the boot to make room for these ladies. Hopefully an injury free week for next time!
They seem to be recovering from the over fertilization. The Durban is growing well and seems rather normal but the White Diesel is rather bizarre - its stiff as hell, the stem is as thick as a tree trunk and the tops are growing very bunched up and bushy - not sure why.
Again I'm slacking on posts ... I havent feed any nutrients in a couple of weeks after they looked shitty from too over doing it. They are still hanging in and continuing to grow ... not a hole lot more to say at this point
@vancitybuzz, thanks for following .. I have no clue what they'll look like .. may look like buds I suppose 😄 ... my first time with these. Should be fun to watch .. stay tuned!
@Ninja31, right now they are both under 1 Roleadro 400W COB which only pulls like 120 watts. I want to move them to the 315W CHM but that light is currently being occupied by my other grow -- which is being dominated by a cauliflower! I may move them there once that thing is harvested ... no clue when that will be though.
