Temps back under control π got away without any issues from last week i think. Older plant is coming along nicely, the younger seems to be taking longer to mature, im guessing this is because i need more light? Or just because it has more branches and bud sites? Either way the older is going to get chopped first so hopefully the younger will put on weight with a couple weeks alone in the tent!
2 more weeks till first chop hopefullyβοΈ
@y0shimitsu, yeh i figured that would be the case, helps keep my humidity down in flower for sure also. Yeh pros and cons but ill try 20/4 or 18/6 next run to compare, not to fussed about the electricity bill for a few months it seems worth the experiment
@Kennedy90, as long as you supplement all the other needs to balance the extra hours of lights plants will be fine. I would be much more worried for the electricity bill π°
@y0shimitsu, not experienced enough to know the benefits, i know some people say plants need a rest but lots of contradicting info about it so just thought id try, and if im honest i would forget half the time to turn lights off on schedule βοΈ
NO LST if growing outdoors. The great thing about growing Outdoors is if you can keep her outside the Sun rises and sets which allows all branches to get sunlight. I love outdoor growing! No stress of LST...happy growing man!π
@Kennedy90, hey buddy No laughing here!! I love this sight because you can learn so many techniques. I bought this and it is an amazing investment I have a greenhouse but still you never know. I live here in the Midwest and there are days that the greenhouse can get as hot as 120 degrees. This will keep almost all of those problems away for you and it works amazing for mold. All so you CAN spray this even on the day of harvest if needed. I do 1/2 oz to a gallon of water. ONLY SPRAY AT NIGHT!! Very very important. It will fry and kill them if you do it when the sun is shining. Cheap investment great results!
@GreenhouseGrowing, hey man, i have a question if you dont mind? As im taking outdoors most days at the minute, is there any problems i could face other than the typical pests and my dog? That maybe i wont find when growing indoors? For example we have lots of lil flying insects in the uk, are most of them bless? Annnd some days are heat is great but humidity can shoot down to 27% outside, can this be an issue? Appreciate any help you have and feel free to laugh at this! π
Looking tidy bruv, nice work and I hear you on the UK weather!!! Like you an Air Con unit is the final piece of the puzzle too!!!
Definitely next time round although my grow will be over our winter so no heat problems there then!!! ππ
@Kennedy90, Cheers Bud, first grow on here but only my 2nd ever grow!!! Loving it.....especially as I got time to see over everything properly!!! Just need air con and hopefully I can grow me own for years to come......π
@Bushbaby808, Cheers mate! Yeh during winter i imagine it'll be much easier gettin the enviro in the tent spot on. Last problem i thought we'd have is heat! Still much better these last few days in there.
Checked your grow out and looks proper decent mate! First time also? Impressive! π
Looking nice n healthy bud π
I'm just wondering why you're putting the babies outside too?
I'm in the UK to and as you say we have a multitude of little beasties, I'd be paranoid of attacks man!!!
Just wondering?ππ
@Kennedy90, Hahaaa, I hear ya bud!! It can only be good for them getting some real sunshine although that's come to an end for a bit here ah!!!
As far as my lighting I recently purchased a new LED, the Spider Farmer SF1000, fantastic light for a really good price too!!
Well worth it π
Speak soon bud π
@Bushbaby808, Yo dude thanks for the comment! As for taking the plants outside, ive actually stopped for a couple reasons, one being im sitting there watching them 24/7 for loads of reasons like the insects and my dogs and what not. Plants are getting bigger also so not so discreet anymore.
I guess there is definetly a risk to taking indoor plants outdoors. I get para even leaving them for 10 minutes outside.
If i have a day where i can sit in the garden all day ill take them out with me but if im not gonna be home or even just busy ill leave them indoors (when there smaller).
I suppose if your lighting set up is top notch then its probably not necessary but i recon mine benefitted from the odd day outside when they were younger.
All good! ππ
