Happy with the condition of the plant. Just don't understand how I'm in week 22 and only appear to be about half way through flowering stage. It's been flowering for about 8 weeks so far.
Buds are filling out nicely and fusing together. Still lots of new pistol growth, so might be a couple of weeks before flushing. Had started to reduce nutes a bit, but within about 24hrs I had rust spots developing on a couple of leaves coming from the main cola, so I've increased again, and all is well. This has been a very slow grow, but I am hopeful of a good harvest.
Started the flush this week. It felt like the right time. I've got significant nute deficiency in the upper leaves of the main cola now. What is surprising is that since taking away all nutes, several of the buds have shown new growth. I was going to flush for just 4 days as its a DWC, but having seen quite a lot of new growth, I'll probably just leave it a few days longer and see what happens. Checking the plant several times a day now, so it's being very closely monitored.
Harvested today. Was just about ready I think. Was starting to get foxtails on some of the higher buds and couldn't change the growing environment to combat this, so just had to crack on with harvest. I will catalogue the progress as it occurs. Very, very sticky harvest. Very milky trichomes. Buds feel solid. Sweet smell.
Been drying 4 days now. Buds have shrank right back by about half. Still no snap on the stems, so a bit more drying yet. I'll be surprised if i get 30g on the scales once dried. That's not a great yield for a plant that's taken 6 months from seed to harvest.
6 days drying. Good snap on the stems now. Time for curing.
Ok, so I've been curing for a week now and decided to see what's on the scales for this grow. 45g. Not a great yield, but I'm yet to try it, so it might blow my head off. Time will tell. Still needs lots more curing time, but the aromas are starting to come through over the smell of fresh cut green, which is starting to dissipate.
