Day: 1 Seedling still doesnt have much strength in the stalk.... need to add a fan some how
Day: 2 Other seeds have tap roots.... either tonight or tomorrow I will put them into the Rapid Rooter plugs before they go into the hydro-garden. I might put 1 seed outback in the garden
Got seed #2 started at the end of the week. I upgraded the light from 600w to 1000w. Hope it will work for 2 be plants in a 2.5' ² tent.
Day 3:. I noticed the stalks are different colors, let's see if this helps predict the color of bud.
Day 1 of week 3 and I am showing the difference between my 2 girls. Big one is 6 days older.... unreal I know. It seems to be a different phenotype, as all the others I have grown have always had a dark center. I didnt want 2 different plant types like I had last grow (Purple and pink kush), but it looks like thats what I got anyways. Have to grow with one on a box again to even out canopies...
Trimmed a few bottom leaves to keep them off the grow medium.
The difference is huge between the plants..... 6 days must have been affected also by more side roots compared to the tap root poking out. I thought it best to let the roots develop in the hydro garden
PK2 is coming along, even if she is way smaller, it's nice too see her grow somewhat, and she's not done yet.
PK 1 is going well, might be ready in 2-3 weeks.
Wondering how much longer PK1 has before harvest. 80% of her pistils have turned amber.
Exploring mid week shows me I have at least another week...maybe 2
PK1 is covered in crystals. They trichomes are still clear, but all pistils are amber..... and it just started to sprout new white pistils??? This one actually had a few day longer in the seedling dome than PK2, so I might harvest it tomorrow, and leave PK2 for another week or 2. Maybe CBD trichomes are clear.....
Going to flush PK1 for 3 days......
The smell taste and look of the flower is terrific again however my enchantment with the strain has faltered as I have had five different growing plants for it so far.
Having grown it several times now, I am not happy with the varying plant phenotypes. Hard to have them all shoot to different sizes. Giving some other Seedsman strains a shake now.
Overall the flowers are pretty consistent. The actual vegetation aspect varies, or is very suseptacle(?) to conditions when they're young. Love the color, smell and flavor of all 4 of my plants.
@Th4tbl0ke, hmmm, all my autoflower seeds were a little harder to get to seedling than I care for. I think a big thing is not to shock them with temp changes before you plant the seed and tap root. I germinated in paper towel after soaking over night. I quickly, but carefully check for root after 2 days, and once a day until I see a long tap root. Plant them in the final pot now, if you stress them while young they might be stunted.
Be ready for a beautiful flower, both in looks and smell
