Lemonade Take2 Outdoor

So this is take 2 of the Purple Lemonade. This will be an outdoor grow in the same pot as my indoor grow. It will be grown in promix HP with a 2 blend compost. 1st compost is made up of leaves and kitchen scraps like cabbage,peppers,spinach and crushed egg shells. 2nd compost is made up of seaweed from White Rock BC,Pacific Ocean sand, shells crushed from the Pacific Ocean and other green plant life that lives in the Ocean. It was all rinsed real good before I started that compost to get sea salts off. Before I blended the promix HP and the compost I baked the compost for an hr @ 170F to kill any eggs or larva in it. At that temp the micros should be fine in the compost. Today is May 27 so we should have an early August harvest. All say a 🙏 for her to get that Purple I am looking 4. So it has been 2 weeks since I popped her into a glass of water to germinate her. The weather has been all over the place. She looks like she is doing well. Remember she is an outside grow with not all the daylight she needs it's still a few weeks away from summer here in British Columbia Canada.

So it has been 21 days since I put the seed in water to germinate. Day 17 of growth above ground. The weather has been mostly rain and cool days this week. The soil is real wet. I tested the runoff the compost mix is at a ph of 6.5 and 2750 ppm of compost goodies in the pot. Looks like rain the next few days then switches over to 4 days of sunny weather,temps 22-26c.

So it's the end of week 4 from popping the seed in a glass to germinate. She is at day 24 of growth. We had 2.5 days of sun couple days of rain and a couple of overcast days. Started to do some lst this week. Jump in and tell me what you all think so far. I find that she is a few days behind because of the weather and you get more hours of light doing an inside grow.

So week 5 is over,she started to flower late in the week. I top dressed her with 2 tablespoons of Gaia green nutrients 2-8-4. Weather was again a mix with a few days off Sun. Still doing some LST.

42 days from when i put the seed in water. 38 days of growth. Weather has been rain most of the week I moved her beside the house under some cover for a few days. She needs that orange fire ball in the sky. Looks like she will produce less than the inside grow I did. You never know she still has time. Also top dressed her with another tablespoon of Gaia Green 2-8-4.

45 days of growth don't see no purple 😞 We will keep going one day it may happen. Weather has been couple days of sun few days of rain and overcast. Feedback on how she looks so far. Thanks for popping in 😎

56 days from opening the package,52 days of growth. Looks like I will not get that purple that I am looking for. She is getting frosty and the weather is getting better. Want to thank FastBuds again for the seeds. Maybe Just maybe one day I will get that damn fucken purple.😎

Summer is a busy time for me so little behind on adding to the diary. Weather has been nice i did a top dressing of Gaia Green 2-8-4. No purple so that's a bummer.

So on day 64 of growth I woke up to a surprise. I had a light brown mold at the base of the plant and a tiny white worm that dug a hole in her. The worm went into the soil couldn't catch it. So I cleaned area with 50% Alcohol on a q-tip. It stripped the mold off and the mushy plant matter. Then I mixed up hydrogen peroxide 3%,baking soda and a little water. With a q-tip cleaned are 3 times with 3 different q-tips. Weather has been sunny and hot I think what happened was when I watered the plant some soil ran up the base on the knuckle of the lower stretched out branch. The next days I cleaned the area again same way. You will see how the out come is in the next update. Feeding ph water of 6.3 every day as she dries out because of the heat and the homemade air prune pot. Thanks again FastBuds for the none purple plant again. (Joking). She is strong survived the rot!😎

Week 11 is now complete she could have went a week more but I harvested her after I took the pictures. The reason was the rot at her base,weather was coming in didn't want to risk anything. I want to thank FastBuds for the seeds. I will fill in her dry weight next week.😎

Didn't weigh the buds wet. Hung the plant upside down in a closet with a small fan blowing lightly against the back wall for air movement for 6 days. Put it in a jar for a day then took the buds out for an hr. Put back in the jar for 3 days burping it 3 times a day for 20 min. The plant gave me 54 grams dry. No purple maybe next time.😎
