I just topped my plant and the new branch coming out per nodes. Can the nodes leaf be cut off? So the nutrients will go directly to the new branch instead?

I'd wait one more day for branches to open. But you got it.

I wouldn't. As those are what is powering the new growth. Don't do any defoliation till you flip it to flower. Cheers and happy growing! 👊

Personally I would cut that top node off and try to clone it if you want, and then just focus on the four remainding tops. But always leave one leaf to one bud site to help power but you can tuck them down or put the way a bit. Tent pegs I find are great for plant training! Love em 🌱👍

Maybe a tad, but your apical meristem is thick and strong. Could just be genetics of the plant too. Intensity of light will impact internodal distance. If you see any wilting or pale spots on top leaves, that is too intense and you cannot do much more to reduce internodal space, i.e. gentics. So, if you do adjust, do it a couple inches at a time and observe the reaction over a few days - unless incredibly obvious right away. Slow adjustments.. trial and error.. every different seed you ever grow :) Although with lights, it'll be fairly consistent. A PAR meter is expensive.. but, a $10 light meter (lux) can tell you in a proportional manner the intensity of light you are providing -- while under the same light. The lux measurement you use for "vege" or "clones" may not be the same with a different light -- this is the drawback of a cheap lux meter. It will not tell you PAR and there's no easy way to convert it to PAR without a spectral analysis and an equation i do not know but do know of its existence, lol.
