After the seed germinated, I planted it in a peat tablet and waited for the seedling. It took about 3 days, after which I rearranged the pot in the grow box under the lamps, but without using hydroponics. At the end of the first week, when I was convinced that everything was going well, hydroponics was connected.
This week I turned on my custom ebb & flow hydroponic system. Since I do not have powerful light, I want to try the Lucas Formula. To start, I made a solution in half concentration, and I will gradually increase it.
So, on day 12 it became clear that the temperature was too high. I had to urgently modify the ventilation system. As a result, I was able to lower the temperature from 36 to 30 degrees Celsius, which is also hot, but much better.
Day 13. Starting LST
This week I mixed a new solution
PowerZyme: 2ml/l
FloraBloom: 2.5ml/l
Micro: 1.25ml/l
SuperVit: 0.01ml/l
Over the previous week, the plant drank about 1 liter, and I poured the same amount of new solution.
One more thing. I decided to experiment with FIM. This is the first time I do this. Let's see what happens.
plant looking healthy. Fuckit I Missed (FIM) is not a precise snip hence the name. It does look a bit at angle or that could be the pic. You might find one side will grow bit faster, as it gets bigger you can try promote the lower side with some smart light placement depending on your set up. But i think your gona do fine. 👌
After FIMing, the plant began to drink less solution and slowed down a bit in growth. I also accidentally damaged one leaf, but I think that it’s not scary. Apparently, FIMing did not give the effect that I expected. Now it seems to me that the growth rate has recovered.
Noticed that strange yellow spots appeared on old leaves. Looks like some kind of deficiency, hope this are not insects.
Day 24: I still have not completely updated the solution to a new one.
Day 25: Ok, I have completely updated the solution, let's see what will happen next
Day 28: After the previous replacement of the solution, the plant only got worse, the spots progressed. It became absolutely clear that the plant was experiencing problems. Most likely, this is a lack of calcium, as people answered me in "Grow questions". I am also convinced that this is a calcium deficiency because I use reverse osmosis filtered water. So, I bought a calcium magnesium supplement from GНE and replaced the solution again.
Hey guys, I noticed that strange yellow spots appeared on old leaves. What could be causing this?
I'm using ebb & Flow hydroponics
Solution:
Hesi PowerZyme 1 ml/l
Hesi - SuperVit 0.01 ml/l
GHE - FloraBloom 1.25 ml/l
GHE - FloraMicro 0.65ml/l
pH = 5.65
ppm=430
Last week, I seriously feared for the health of the plant. On the advice of local growers, I bought a calcium magnesium supplement, and updated the solution. At the same time, I suspended my experiment with the Lucas formula. Since then, there have been no problems on new leaves. Now the plant feels good. I continue to train the plant, and it shows excellent results. At the beginning of the week, flowering began.
I continue to practice LST, I want to make it occupy all available space.
Hey folks, I'm growing Girl Scout Cookies Auto (by FastBuds) she is 34 day from seed.
1. Should I change light mode to 12/12?
2. And one more question, should I change solution to "Flowering"?
No, the great thing about an auto is you don't have to change to 12-12 -- this means you don't need super expensive lights because you can provide 50% more energy over 18 hours.. or 66% more energy over 20 hours...
So, don't reduce light. That provides ATP. ATP is used by cells to create everything and anything... which then turns to ADP and the cycle restarts.
This week I completely changed the solution, the girl drinks a lot. Drinks about 5 liters per week. A lot of leaves grew, they filled almost the entire space in the grow box. A lot of leaves grew, they filled almost the entire space in the grow box. Because of this, I decided to do defoliation.
I made a scrog, and I wanted to install it, but I realized that the plant needs to grow up before I can do it, so I think let her go, and let it stretch up.
Now everything is quiet and calm.
This week I completely untied the plant, and let it grow as it considers itself. I think I will wait some more time, and maybe I will install a ScrOG.
In general, now everything is boring, but it's probably good.
There was no time to take a photo every day this week. There was a party over the weekend and some of the flowers were sacrificed. In general, everything is good, 2/3 of the way has been covered, the bumps are already very dense to the touch.
The plant feels good, stinks strongly.
I specially bought a macro lens and took a couple of photos. So far, I'm not doing very well, but next week I will try to take high-quality photos for you.
It remains quite a bit of time to gather the harvest.
Hello everyone who followed my diary!
This is my first time I grow MJ 🍀 but I have been studying various literature and forums for ten years. Finally this year I bought grow box, and in this diary you can see my first result.
the first weeks of life everything was fine, the plant began to grow rapidly and I decided to try the FIMing technique. I was unable to achieve the result with this action, while the plant slowed down its development for about a week. 😞 Around the same time, strange spots began to appear on the leaves. As it turned out later, due to the fact that I used water filtered by the reverse osmosis method, the plant had calcium deficiency. Thank God, I was quickly prompted that this could be, and I outdated the problem.
I have used LSЕ a lot and it seems to me that it gave its results. After flowering began, no problems arose. The plant has produced a lot of dense buds.
I also wanted to say that I was smoking leaves all the time, sometimes I cut off the buds, and almost immediately as the plant bloomed - the leaves and buds began to have a tangible effect.
In general, I am very glad with what I started to grow, very happy with the strain and the result.
Thanks to everyone who supported, commented and liked.
