My first time growing.
Hopefully, I'll become auto-sufficient in 90 days.
Here, I'm registering the log for Auto Caramelicious, bought from MNSL.
Those guys were really fast to send seeds from the UK to New Zealand (5 DAYS)
I'm still waiting for some gear: hygrometer, smart pots (those made from fabric - 11L), PH tester and nutrients.
Not sure if I will use nutrients. Probably just some root booster, once that autoflowers have a short lifecycle.

This is the week 2!
Well, the plant looks really healthy, and she kept growing up, straight to the light!
Good to see that even after the strange beginning, with the stem crooked, she recover her path!
This week, I'm also planning to start feeding them with some NPK.
Just need to read a little bit more about it and buy nutrients.
Probably I'll try Canna stuff. Anyone know if it's good?

Starting week 3 today, with a challenge ahead with this little bad girl!
It's looking good!
I'm feeding the plant once each two days, with Seaweed Tonic, 150ml with the suggested dilution from the bottle.
Now I have also a bottle of Canna Terra Vega, with NPKS 3-0-3-0.
Is it a good idea to start feeding the plant, with also this nutrient?
The soil is a mixture of 80% organic soil + 20% of coco coir.
What is the best agenda to follow with nutrients?
Cheers!!
(:

Today we started the 4th week of growth for this big bad girl!
Last week we had great times here and she keeps developing very well!
After many research and a LOT OF HELP from some masters of GD, I've decided to lift the LED Panel and low the watering. Seems to be working, once that the new leaves are showing a healthy dark green.
This week, I'm also working on nutrients for root development and growth.
Wish me luck, buddies!

Starting the fifth week here, and she's showing signals of pre-flowering like a clock.
I'll keep the nutes scheme with Canna Vega for this week but I'm in doubt about the seaweed.
Should I keep the seaweed for root development?
Wish me luck, mates!

Week 6 beginning here and it seems that this will be definitely the best plant from the first wave of plants that I ever grew in my whole life.
She looks healthy and keeps growing a lot.
Last week I've started an LST training, and for this week I had to put a scrog on the tent because I have a short tent and I don't want to give a chance to the LED panel to burn the buds.
I'm trying to stick with the minimum distance of 75cm from the top of the plant.
Let's see what will happen.

After several days of pure grow, she still showing that probably she will be the rockstar of the grow.
Solid growing, solid buds and now she is starting to spread her smell all around my room.
Can't wait to taste her!
@Zannabis7, I totally agree with you mate!
I'll let the nature work here, lol
Today I've started germinating other 3 plants, so I'll have the opportunity to improve my methods on next plants
Seedling looks great. I would trust those Ph meter that go in the soil. Get a Ph pen and the google Slurry test and use this as a way to test you soil ph. Best wishes on the grow.
@GreenZealand, Know this my friend. Distilled water has a pH of 7.0. If your soil is at 7.2/3 then you need to buffer. You should be watering with a pH of 6.0 - 6.4 to lower the pH to the proper range! You may need to consider a pH down or something that will balane your pH. I'm here man!
@Zannabis7, PH testers in action, the verdict was 7.2 in one check and 7.3 in another check.
The last time I've watered the plants, I used distilled water to be sure to be on the right track to ideal PH.
Next Monday I'll be looking for some PH balancer to start establishing the water first or even keep using distilled water.
@GreenZealand, I might suggest you also order some pH (litmus) strips to double check your meter. They are cheap and I always test wish my meter and then double check with a pH strip.
@GreenZealand, Ah you'll do great! I started my first one 7 months ago, it's a steep learning curve but you've done the research so I reckon it'll be sweet 😀
@Tonks@Ripper@Zannabis7@TryHard
Question for the masters: what about those yellow leaves?
About the environment, let me list a few things:
I've tested properly the PH of the soil, and it's between 6.6 to 6.9.
My watering schedule from past 2 weeks was:
28/02 - 1000ml water (ph 6) with 2.5ml/L of Canna Vega Terra + 5ml/L of Monsta Bud (half suggested)
03/03 - 1000ml water (ph 6)
07/02 - 1000ml water (ph 6) with 2.5ml/L of Canna Vega Terra + 5ml/L of Monsta Bud (half suggested)
12/03 - 1000ml water (ph 6)
The plants are 65cm away from the LED panel.
The average temperature is around 27C (highest of 30.5 last week) and the humidity is around 65% (highest of 80%).
I'm using an organic soil mixed in a proportion of 75% + 25% with coco coir.
Do you guys think I can change anything or add anything to current strategy?
Cheers mates!
@GreenZealand, I am seeing some leaf tips curling down. This may be too much nitrogen. The fact that it it start on the bottom of the plant and is moving is also an indicator of nitrogen toxicity. What one of your nutrients has high nitrogen?
I want to also say that this is my first thought on this issue..
What ph meter do you use?
