Best stroke of fortune I ever had was finding fifteen of these seeds in a couple rec store purchases. I grew four plants from seed last year. All four were female and I ended up with two very distinct phenotypes. Two grew into large bushy trees with an abundance of foliage, and two stayed pretty squat with uniform growth. One of the smaller ones was decimated by bud worms, the other one produced a decent amount of beautiful compact buds. But the two large ones produced over a pound each of huge DENSE, frost covered colas.
I’m excited to see how this one goes, especially growing alongside the WC variety from another grower. Already, this strain is twice as tall as all my other seedlings, which makes me feel like there’s a pretty good shot it could be the larger pheno. Because I went 4/4 with females last year, I think it’s feminized. But, I’m half hoping it’s a male. If it is, I’ll crack another one ASAP and hope it’s a female to make some seed stock of this badass strain.
@jahredi, I understand, I wish I could test outdoor to get some experience there also, but only indoor for me..
Got some Wedding cake seeds from rqs might get to test them indoor soon at least :)
@DreamOn, Thanks. I had some struggles trying to create and keep a living soil. Several times I feel like chemicals and salt-based nutes could’ve corrected problems quicker and got things back on track. But it was a learning experience and I’m excited for next season.
