Plant is on its final flush. Just monitoring it for Amber at around 10% my previous harvest were premature due to some hermaphroditism issues. All of my plants are grown 100% vegan, in coco coir with perelite Or promix bx. They have never received clean water only except at birth and death, and have had consistent foliar applications since week two of veg though which rein 6 of flower. All plants are grown in isolation style enclosures, with forced air at positives pressure(constant air handler). Two enclosures are fitted with 24k btu of heating and cooling(mini split) with dehumidification, and lined with orca film. The small one is 4x3x3.5 and the big one isn’t 6x6x6.75 internally, growing quality not quantity, not your average grow room. I will diary my plants individually over the next few weeks including a plant I call praying hands that was hermaphrodite by removed all male parts and she’s chugging along without issue, dangerous I know but sometimes you gotta do some stupid things to learn right?
This plant was an easy grow. I had struggles with my isolations boxes and lots of environmental changes due to replacing the old diy cooling system with a minisplit. The grow itself is unique and not many of my peers have not understood or had faith in what I was doing. Winter in Michigan can be unforgiving when cold. And the area I have my isolation boxes stored is not sealed. Tho the boxes themselves are and operate according to design. This plant was resitant to foliage applications of pk boosters, the leaf responded poorly but the buds flourished. This lady lived her life with minimal stressor, a simple overheating once, and underheating several times, stretching the flowering out further than where it should have naturally to achieve an reliable and potent bud. This plant started emitting a strong skunk smell before event flowering. It’s size was smaller than most of magnets to plant, with a 1-1/2 foot diameter and short 2.5 feet at harvest. However he smells by far overpowered all others its entire life. THE DENse sugar leaves made the dry trim more difficult as the buds weren’t huge but potent. The bud was described as having a sour appeal like a soured milk almost but the skunk and fuel undertones really pulled this together to form a lemony fuel taste. A very straight forward plant with a potent bud and scent for real. EASY as pie to grow.
I was a bit unorganized during this plants life cycle. This was My first grow and I grew 5 different strains on top of finalizing a bunch of environmental systems. The next time around I will do better documenting and does using his tool. It would be much easier if there was an iPhone app as I take daily pics and recordings. Would be nice to doing this and doing that togehter
