deFharo 3M: Minerals, Microorganisms, and Organic Matter.
New grow with an autoflowering strain that is predominantly sativa, it's Sweet Clementine Auto from Free Soul Seeds. This strain comes from a cross of Dinafem's Diesel: Mexican Sativa x Afghani + 40 - 70% and Dinafem's Tangie: Clone Only x Crocket's Selection. 30% Indica / 70% Sativa.
I prepared a solution made of ormus, azomite, homemade auxins, and humate to help germinate the seed. Before placing the seed between wet paper, I had it submerged in the solution for 3 minutes at 30°C. The seed germinated after 24 hours. I transplanted it into soil at 60 hours. As in my previous diaries, I mix auxins (which promote rooting) and mycorrhizae into this first substrate. In fact, you can already see the microorganisms thriving on the surface. I also encapsulate the container from the top (to maintain high humidity) and from the bottom (to promote vertical root growth).

deFharo The seedling continues its life normally. Although it's early to say, the broad leaves reveal a possible indica phenotype, even though the strain claims to be predominantly sativa; we’ll see.
I've set up a new cabinet with cold spectrum lights: CFL 6400K, Fluorescent 6400K, and soon I’ll add a 7700K panel. I'm going to keep this cabinet at 20 hours for now until the seedlings turn into young plants.
Next week, I’ll transfer this plant to its final pot; I’ll be very careful with the humidity since I’ve had problems before with transplanting autos.

deFharo So far, the seedling is having vigorous growth, the vertical roots are peeking out from the bottom. Thanks to the white light, the growth is very compact, and this is what I'm aiming for with this grow. I've added small doses of mineral water enriched with honey, hydro algae, coconut water, auxins, etc. Although I usually transplant to the final pot at 3 weeks, in this case, since it's an auto, I prefer to wait a few more days to keep building a strong root system. Transplanting autos has been giving me problems this season, so I plan to take very measured steps for this grow.

deFharo On day 24 of cultivation, I transplanted to the final pot of 5.5L. I paid special attention to the light composition of the substrate, the drainage capacity, and the initial watering, which I did with 300ml; of that, I applied 100ml at the base of the plant. In the following days, I added the same amount of water as consumed daily, about 50ml. On day 26, pre-flowering began.
I prepared an aqueous solution (300ml) with nutrients for the first watering after transplanting to the 5.5L pot:
1) Day 24. Ormus 1% (Calcium, magnesium, and minerals), homemade liquid Auxins 10% (rooting), MMA 1% (homemade active microorganisms), Honey (free sugars, enzymes, minerals, and hormones), 2g of blood (N). pH: 5.8 EC: 1.2. 300ml
2) Day 25. Ormus 1% (Calcium, magnesium, and minerals), homemade liquid Auxins 10% (rooting), MMA 1% (homemade active microorganisms), Honey (free sugars, enzymes, minerals, and hormones), 2g of blood (N). pH: 5.8 EC: 1.2. 85ml
3) Day 26. Ormus 1% (Calcium, magnesium, and minerals), homemade liquid Auxins 10% (rooting), MMA 1% (homemade active microorganisms), Honey (free sugars, enzymes, minerals, and hormones), 2g of blood (N). pH: 5.8 EC: 1.2. 80ml

deFharo Fifth week of life for this plant, vertical growth is very slow, but on the other hand, it seems to have gained in sturdiness, the leaves show no deficiencies and it seems the transplant went well. In my opinion, this plant started to flower very early, I'm curious to see what this plant turns into, maybe I'm growing a bonsai 😬
On day 30 of cultivation, I had to apply neem and diatomaceous earth due to the threat of pests that appeared in another grow in the same cabinet, for now, the infestation is completely under control. I'm continuing to recover the consumed water with organic multi-component solutions, I maintain a low humidity range in the pot so that the roots grow searching for moisture. The initial watering for this plant is 300ml, based on this figure and daily weights of the pot, I know the exact water consumption.
😎 WEEKLY DIET:
1) Day 32. Ormus 1%, MMM fruit Biol 2%, Hydro humus 1%, Molasses and vinegar. pH: 6 EC: 1. 50ml.

😳 GROWING TIP:
• This week I'm trying out a new nutrient solution for the vegetative and pre-flowering stage NPK, it's a Lacto ferment that I've had fermenting anaerobically for 40 days, made up of: 19 selected fruits and vegetables for their properties, 4 minerals, BAL, Molasses, yeast, whey, guanos, and animal meals. This time, unlike others, I've blended or crushed the fruits and vegetables in an attempt to achieve a much faster decomposition of the components.

deFharo Six weeks into the life of this little one, the growth is very slow. I hope that with the change of light spectrum next week, it will start to stretch, as for now, with the light diet, it is growing very compact. So far, there are no signs of nutrient deficiencies or excesses. It's a mystery to me how this plant will turn out... I'll keep watching.
😁 • On day 40, coinciding with the moon moving towards the Last Quarter, I applied solids on the surface that will be available for the plant in 10-15 days, coinciding with the First Quarter. The solid components change depending on the stage of growth; for today, dealing with a plant in the vegetative stage, I made a mix with: Alfalfa meal (N), homemade auxins in powder (hormones), Kelp (Stimulant), Worm castings (nPk Mg), Cottonseed meal (Npk), Fish meal (nP), Dried blood (N), Azomite (Ca K and minerals), Homemade leonardite humate (Acids: humic, fulvic, and humatomelanic), Phosphorite (P), Dehydrated peels of: Apple, Pear, Potato, and Orange (Vitamins, sugars, and minerals), Ground toasted Quinoa and Chia seeds (Proteins and amino acids), Ground eggshells (Ca), and Coffee grounds (N). I mixed it all in roughly equal parts and applied about 20g in the pot under the mulch. After applying it, I raked it in and made some holes down to the bottom of the substrate for aeration and better distribution of the solids and liquids throughout the pot.
I've been watering to keep the substrate moist at the initial level. The main intention with the selected nutrients for the watering is to inoculate beneficial microorganisms in the substrate so they can break down the raw material and dissolve the minerals found in the substrate. This coming week, I will water only with pure rainwater mixed with 25% alkaline mineral water with an EC of 0.19, to avoid loading more organic matter and nutrients into the soil.
😬 WEEKLY DIET
1) Day 36. Ormus 1%, Bio fruits NPK 3%, Molasses and apple cider vinegar. PH: 6.3 EC: 1.3 - 50ml
2) Day 37. Ormus 1%, Bio fruits NPK 3%, Lacto ferment MMM 1%, Molasses. PH: 6.4 EC: 1.2 - 60ml
3) Day 38. Ormus 1%, Bio fruits NPK 2%, Hydro Humus 2%, Honey and Apple cider vinegar. PH: 6.2 EC: 1.2 - 150ml.
4) Day 40. Ormus 1%, MMA 2%, Auxins 3%, Honey, BAL 5%. PH: 6.2 EC: 1 - 50ml.
5) Day 40. Ormus 1%, Bio fruits NPK 2%, Hydro Humus 2%, Honey, enzymes, and Vinegar. PH: 6.15 EC: 0.85 - 300ml.
😳 GROWING TIP
• Sheep wool
Currently, sheep wool is a waste product, easy to find. Sheep wool has several uses for crops; in general, it is a material that retains a lot of moisture while aerating the substrate. It also releases organic nitrogen (Approx. N17%) as it degrades. It should be noted that this degradation is very slow, and we need to use microorganisms if we want to speed it up; otherwise, it can remain intact for months. I use this product in all my crops with sheep wool from an old pillow I found at home, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
a) Several washes with warm water should be done to remove grease and dirt. Then let it dry.
b) We need to stretch or comb the wool fibers to break up the large wool knots to avoid waterlogging and promote degradation.
😵 USES OF WOOL FOR POTS
1) I use it at the base of the pots for moisture retention and to prevent soil from escaping through the holes.
2) I mix it with the substrate, more in the middle-upper part of the pot.
3) I use it as the 1st layer of mulch, covering it with other layers of leaves or straw.
4) I make alkaline hydrolysates where I dissolve the wool with 5% Potassium Hydroxide; this way, I obtain a product with a lot of organic nitrogen and potassium, ideal for use in the last applications with nitrogen (Pre-flower).
5) Like any other organic matter, it can be used as a component in compost; I haven't tried this yet, I'm waiting to have a farm to practice this. 😀

deFharo Another week goes by with no news, the height growth has been nonexistent, the plant has gained some thickness, but that's about it. I'm curious to see the evolution of this plant; the seed bank mentions it has sativa tendencies and comes from a Diesel x Tangie cross from Dinafem, which seems interesting. So far, it doesn't show any signs of deficiencies or excesses.
I've been watering with very mild solutions all week, hoping the substrate digests the solid inputs from last week. As components, I've only added MMA (inoculation of MM with minerals) and molasses to give energy to the MMs in the substrate. In the coming days, I'll continue with this diet to give the MMs time to digest the components, making them assimilable by the plant.
Two days ago, I moved the plant from the cool white cabinet to its final cabinet with a broader light spectrum, focusing on the reds. I hope next week the plant makes a stretch because with the current growth, I don't know if I'll be able to smoke 2 joints.

deFharo My dear little Clementine isn't progressing, I think it's due to root blockage from excess moisture at the base, as multiple signs of all kinds of deficiencies are appearing. The story repeats itself with my last failed grows, and the common denominator among them has been the type of pot. Grrr. 😡
On day 47, I did a thorough watering trying to bring oxygen to the entire root system, as I had been observing for weeks the low moisture consumption at the base of the pot. I applied a watering with pure water and molasses (700ml) and to my surprise, there was hardly any runoff. Until this moment, I had been growing this plant and two other autos in the same 5.5l pots with saucers. The day after this deep watering, the plants showed clear symptoms of excess moisture; I managed to absorb at least 200ml by placing absorbent paper several times at the base of the pots. These pots have a terrible design at the base, the drainage holes are barely 2mm off the ground, and using a saucer was blocking the lower drainage, preventing aeration, and therefore the roots may have felt this excess. I don't know if I can recover them; for now, I've removed the saucer from the base and elevated the pots to allow air circulation at the bottom. Additionally, today I've taken them outside to speed up water consumption to dry the substrate as much as possible in the shortest time to continue growing normally.
The potassium deficiency also caught me by surprise; I've gotten out of the habit of growing autoflowering strains. Indeed, I hadn't applied any potassium nutrients to date. To try to remedy this, I've immediately prepared a solution with Potassium Humate, even though this would add more moisture to the substrate, but the deficiencies were increasing, and I needed to start fixing it. Once the substrate is ready for the next watering, I'll start applying flowering nutrients to see if I can get something decent from this grow.

deFharo One week of no progress, I finally managed to water the plant after the overwatering and the root blockage, I think the root system is irreparably affected.
Now with the elevation of the pot base, the water consumption has improved and I will be able to apply more nutrients and minerals, let's see if I can finally invigorate this crop a bit.

deFharo No news with the little one, I'm keeping this plant as a curious grow, I'll harvest it as soon as the closet it's currently in needs space.
