Havent started using nutes yet. i'm unsure when tbh because my medium is a blend of peat moss mixed with perlite called janeco light mix.It has a ph of 6 aprox. the npk of the mix is 12-14-24.
overall i think my plants are growing first compared to the other ones i've had, they were twice the size by now almost, and i just watered them with my totally inaccurate ph water because my ph didn't work, so they eventually died and got thrips. this time i've cleaned my tent 2x with a strong bleach solution and 1 time just with alchohol and a dry cloth. for these quick ones i've had relatively high humidity sometimes 80% but i got it down to 60-70% needed to figure out the humidifer. then i got thrip invasion again, and bought cypermethrin in the store just because it was what i could get NOW, and it's been keeping them down, they haven't exploded by a night. now waiting for neem oil and will try that. does anyone have any tips for the larvae in the ground or in general to why my plants grow so slow? i don't know what i'm doin wrong but it most be something
@Zannabis7, and i haven't heard of many trying it :D it was actually because a guy in my town has a growshop, and he only has that mix and uses it himself for his grows. the only thing i'm unsure about is wether or not i should treat like a soil or soilless medium, because my nutes have different schedules (bigplantscience). the mix is inceredibly light though so i'm thinking it's gonna work. i checked the ph on the bag and it's at 6.
and thanks man, best wishes for you aswell!
