See Blackberry Moonrocks diary for more general information of what is going on. Specific Notes for Gorilla Blue will be here. Cutting taken June 8. Looking good 24 hours later. Nice and robust

Acclimated to vege area at 7-8k lux (relative to my lights, this info doesn't 'travel') In a week or two, These diaries will get more interesting.. Still in the clone stage. Anyway, updated through day 13. Updates on Sundays.

Dynomyco - 2grams inocultion. Jun 24 - Transplanted to pots and took a picture. Notes are in pics. I'll update for the week on Sunday. Jun 26 - Reservoir filled. Slightly diluted to start. Jun 27 - A few days behind Nova OG. Still 12kLux like other 2. Jun 28 - The only one not standing at attention. Did drink from reservoir, though. Last update for week 3 (day 19). Sunda updates resume next week.

Well, it was an eventful week at the very least. Light was left on 24/7 from Jun 24 until Jul 2. Nova OG and Blackberry Moonrocks are jostling for fastest growth. At the moment, Blackberry Moonrocks is taking a slight lead. I think it was more robust in regard to the 24 hour lighitng stress. Otherwise, Nova OG was the clear leader from rooting until the start of vigorous growth. In hindsight, the delayed perkiness of Gorilla Blue and Future #1 was likely caused by my lighting screw up. All four have been topped at this point. Nova OG and Blackberry Moonrocks were a day or two earlier - it is in the weekly notes pictured. Gently bending top nodes down as they grow out. May have to tied them to side if they get rigid before other vertical shoots catch up. Current goal with these plants will be 6-8 vertical shoots with no axillary growth off of those - i guess? As each progresses to 6-8 shoots even in height and current growth rate, i'll move them to the bloom box. Trying something new, so I have no expectations. The white stuff is a little overzealous DE application, BWAHAHA!

Last week of vegetative phase for these plants. There may be a 2-5 day difference as to when each goes into the bloom box. Future #1 is one of the laggards as is Gorilla Blue, which i split on top and had to prune one of my 6 vertical shoots. So, I topped 2 other shoots and should fill in. Will need ~5 days on this one if it stalls. (Week 1 of bloom preview.. Dummy didn't wait 5 days. Same little dummy that broke my plant!) Other than that, it's been uneventful. They all continue to improve after the ~7 days of 24/0 debacle. The donor plants look ugly, but I have 30 days to get them in shape. they've also been topped of with what remains of the coco coir, so lots of room for new root growth all of a sudden.

6 weeks complete / 1 week of bloom complete All 4 are doing well. Gorilla Blue is one of the smaller 2, but all four will fill out the 30"x30" space very well. Defoliation is on the horizon. Any health issues creeping seem to have halted with new formula. Think i had tip burn from too much P and Mg-deficiency (or related cations locking each other out).

Early update -- defoliation July 20 after 8 nights of 12 hour length. Wanted to clean them up a bit, bend them out a bit, and get some nice tall, strong stalks of vascular tissue. Since they are still mangeable, i pulled them out for a good look. You can see that my lights do my plants no favors when it comes to pictures. Took some hi-res photos, so 'view image' or 'copy image link' and open a new tab to see them fully. Weekly notes will be screenshot and posted at and of 2nd week. ------------------ Gorilla Blue - 48 whole days total / 14 nights of bloom Jul 19 - Bent each out from center of plant. Been slacking on shaping it. Tons of axillary growth. Need to defoliate 3 of 4 sooner than later. Jul 20 - Defoliated --- Jul 21 - All look healthy. See a 9-blade leaf coming out of F#1, which is probably the 2nd ugliest of the four (my fault, I’m sure) Jul 21 - All have recovered well. Have to double check, but front/right is growing fast. Jul 23 - All on autopilot at this point. Still bending them out a bit. F#1 is good to go on that. Jul 24 - All shaping up very well. F#1 has wrinkled leaves like it has the entire time. Looks horrid under the grow lights. Gorilla Blue showing start of bloom. Jul 25 - Lights are slightly angled up in middle. F#1 and GB are roughly 24-25” away. Week 7 completed.

GB 55 days / 21 days 12-12 Jul 26 - Don’t see adverse stretching from raised lights. Hopefully it all evens out. Jul 28 - Same concern as bbm / nog - overzealous pruning a tad too late. Jul 29 - Removed a pedestal. May need 2nd irrigation when vegetative growth stops. Better get at least 4 more inches of growth from each, or I done fucked up.. Jul 30 - Not happy with my choices with these plants. I don’t expect this to stretch much more, but has a bit more of a chance than BBM and NOG. My money is on it not happening. Jul 31 - Somewhere between bbm/nog and F#1 - still embarrassing. Growth is pretty much done. Aug 1 - At the least I’ll have all A-quality nugs, but just not much.

55 / 21 Days - No Notes 56 / 22 Days - Triches are already developing on the leaves before today based on how much was there. 57 / 23 Days - No Notes 58 / 24 Days - Looking okay, but will have a small yield due to user-error. Awesome plant so far despite my efforts to thwart it. All 4 of these. 59 / 25 DAys - No Notes 60 / 26 Days - See a red stigma, already?!? Just one or 2 at top. This plant is in weakest area, so I am leaning genetics rather than light burn or pollination as the cause of the early stigma’s coloration. Like f#1, a larger bud zone has resulted, so yield will only be paltry instead of minimal. Some really thick stigma on this one. Gave a small dose of pH’d water top-fed. 61 / 27 Days - Not as fast as bbm, but thickening as of yet. Trying to not use dates anymore for a little layer of safety. May even put a random amount of time between my weeks and publishing them on GD. A little mystery provides some additional security.

62 / 28 Days - No notes 63 / 29 Days - Of the 4, this one looks the most impressive. This was the freebie with a purchase, so I have to overcome a little personal preference to admit it. Far more trichomes than the others -- but Future #1 ‘happy family’ clearly is on a different time frame and is not a fair comparison to make. Super thick stigma and already getting frosty and at a faster rate than others. 2 red stigma. Lights? 64 / 30 - Nothing is as frosty as this one.. Compare to F#1 around day 70. 65 / 31 Days - All are looking great at roughly the halfway point. NOG, BBM and GB all look like a typical 8-9 week bloom so far. GB being the frostiest. F#1 looks to be a 9-10 week - I hope not longer. F#1 has a couple yellow leaves in undercarriage, but no concerns, yet. They all have extra leaves and will likely shed a few. Trying to err on leaving more than ever taking a bit too much off again - like ggxww that’s nearing harvest was light on leaves, but didn’t run into related problems. 66 / 32 Days - Looks healthy. More space for 2-3 days. After Durban Poison harvest, expectations are moderately raised. Could get close to 70g, which isn’t far off from original goal of 75g per. We’ll see if these nugs fill in like DP’s did. 67 / 33 Days - Enjoying their extra space, I’m sure. Maybe, another day alone(x4) in box. GB is really developing fast. At least 7 days ahead of previous gorilla variety I have grown. Bracts are visibly plump all over - not full-sized of course. It had triches before end of 3weeks into bloom, and that good development continues. 68 / 34 Days - The progression from 31 days to 35 days of 12-12 macro pictures will look drastic. This plant is set to Ludicrous Speed. Whether it is a fast finisher or packs on some mega weight, looking forward to what happens. All of the donors need to be regenerated once they grow out. That will officially put an end to my coco coir use. May be a couple weeks, as they had a heavy pruning.

69 / 35 Days - Bracts are doing their oompa loompa impression well. 70 / 36 Days - Start paying attention to leaves. Some symptoms on others, and these aren’t perfect either. GB is looking far ahead of the others, but rather not have a damaged canopy. 71 / 37 Days - Bulbous heads, tall stalks and not glassy. She’s looking good - quality-wise. The freebie is the best of the bunch so far. Lots of time left. Canopy is nice and strong heading into 6 complete weeks. 72 / 38 Days - If this one isn’t ~14-18 days away I’m crazy. Looks like an 8-week variety. Lots of plumping to do, but it looks like the last 2+ weeks. Geez, the more expensive seeds better pack on the snow soon, or they’ll be left in the dust by this plant. 73 / 39 Days - Got elevated part b dose. 75 / 41 - It is the East, and Gorilla Blue is the sun. Arise, fair Gorilla Blue, and kill the envious moon, Who is already sick with pale grief. She speaks, yet she says nothing. What of that? Her trichomes discourses. I will answer it. To twinkle in their spheres till they return… What Shakespeare was really writing about (chopped up a bit, but got there). But seriously, another week of excellent development. Trichomes look awesome. Some amber seen in any location scoped. I'll keep watching just in case it’s a genetic freak and finishes quickly Relative to my garden’s environment, this plant looks fucking amazing. Another 10-14 days unless it packs on a new layer of growth, which is looking less likely by the day. All four got an elevated N top-fed. F#1 will continue on that mix. GB has not shown any major N-def while losing a nominal amount of lower leaf material. Smell test today -- Cannot place it. Guess there’s a hint of blueberry. Bit of an unusual funk like other gorilla strain I grew; expect it to come through in a spicy taste later. My plants don’t smell much until I chop them to pieces. By the time I got to this one, my nose was mixed up and fingers were stinking of previous attempts - different fingers still impacting overall smell. Crossing my fingers she tastes good. I'm a fan of gorilla strain potency, but not the typical gorilla taste.

76 / 42 Days - Beginning a new week… PM - I just don’t see much left for this plant to do but ripen up. Find amber in just about any location, but not much. Some are glassy / mostly clear. 77 / 43 Days - Keeping close eye on triches. Any significant increase in amber and I’ll start giving ~6.5 pH water. I see yield/sq ft. vastly improving on the ensuing runs. Lower nugs are dense and low leaf to bud ratio. 78 / 44 Days - Scoping daily. Same scattered amber in any locale, albeit few. Hesitating on flush, since I don’t have tons of notes as with ggxww. Already near lower edge based on canopy’s behaviour. Lots of glass in PM. Think I’ll try a later point in harvest window. Decidedly >50%, picking a # out of the hat. Want to see a bit more amber, bit less glass before flush. 79 / 45 Days - Still plenty of glass; no flush starting, yet. A little frostier, but don’t see much changing day-to-day. Usually fast and furious at end, once it starts turning amber. PM not much changing today. 80 / 46 Days - Still plenty of glass… More cloudy triches than before, but still early. This may not get a normal flush, but not too concerned as I am closer to the lower level of nutes than the upper-range based on the canopy’s slight paling over time - no glossy leaves, no major clawing or blemishes as on BBM. 81 / 47 Days - Top colas are ripe, but too much glass elsewhere. Want to see more smokey trichomes before ceasing fertilization. (trying to stop saying the word “flush”.. gives the wrong impression and gives validity where none exists at the moment) 82 / 48 Days - Well, I can’t believe the trichomes haven’t begun to ripen in most locations. Top colas in some spots show quite a bit of amber, but most likely a slight overexposure is the cause there since there is so much glass elsewhere, yet also near top. These things tend to happen quickly, so when it shows a bit more amber, I’ll start a ~3 day flush (coco), hopefully. The clone run will be well-planned unlike this 4x different strain run. ______________________________ It’ll be a full 49 nights at time of posting and pictures will be taken shortly before that. Another good week. Canopy continues slow decline, but top is fairly green. The ‘next’ run will be dialed in better with nutes, but this plant was mostly fine throughout. After Sunday morning scope, Flush starting this upcoming week. Fed this AM, but will verify in PM as to state of trichomes.

83 / 49 Days - Still holding off flush. Trichomes will dictate. This is probably when I’d normally start it, but will test a point later in the harvest window. 84 / 50 Days - Started flush today. We’ll see if I shift gears later. 85 / 51 Days - Possibly a tad early, but canopy is unaffected as of yet, so plenty to feed on. 7-day flush in coco is about as far as I like to take it. Prefer 3-5 days. 86 / 52 Days - Third day of flush. In coco, so it’s a significant reduction of nutrients in the substrate at this point. The fate is sealed, but giving water until canopy dies or trichomes show me what I am looking for. I am aiming for a later harvest window than normal, but have no precise intention within that realm, so will go with the flow. 87 / 53 Days - Ready anytime. Going day-to-day as I observe trichomes. This is when I’d normally chop her down ‘tomorrow.’ Amber triches are progressing quickly. Some fan leaves have turned a dark color. Thought it was red at first, but now more of a dark purple like the sugar leaves. 88 / 54 Days - It’s looking RIPE. Want to be approaching 50% amber night before I chop. Canopy is strong enough to last more than 7 days of flush, so no worries. Regardless, it is ready to harvest at any time. PM - Think I saw less amber tonight, Bwahaha! Whether the flush or simply end of life, the colors of leaves are coming out. Thought I had overfed, but must be genetics. Dark purple, almost start reddish. If I can, I’ll take pictures of how it progresses. Leaves are at various stages. 89 / 55 Days - surprisingly just the top portion is showing quick increases in %amber. One cola might be approaching 50% but others are not. I can’t backbuild, and the canopy isn’t deep enough to warrant a staggered harvest. This plant is ½ the yield it should be, so it’s going to be a fast harvest. Didn’t scope in PM, so we’ll see how early I wake to check it. Possible harvest, but if not close to lights-on I’ll wait another day. -------------------------------- Another excellent week in the garden. Gorilla Blue is heading to the chopping block in days, if not today, so there will be 2 updates to this journal in a short period of time. Leaves fade a tad red then a dark purple. Can’t be overfed (flush for 5 days so far) nor temperatures at night (this time). No harvest today... tomorrow or the next day... The more i look at the pictures online, the more i think one of these got mixed up either with packaging from the seed broker or me switching the pots up somehow. I will be able to eliminate the latter by popping the 2nd seed and comparing. If the broker screwed up, i'll never know for sure. If the second seed doesn't look the same, clearly i did something, lol... Time will tell, maybe. I'll say this.. the formation of the bud on GB looks a bit like anesia's BBM on their website.. i have have a slightly lighter green spot popping out like their picture for it. Pretending this isn't real.. la-la-la can't hear you! Bwahahaha.

Summary (may show different and updated opinions from notes below) A very pleasing grow with quick development. The nugs looked like frosty buds from day 30-35. After 6 full days of drying, smaller buds do not snap off the main stem, so waitingn longer to jar. I'll update this later. OMG, a breeder's flowering time was accurate?!?! Ya don't say... 55-60 days is accurate for this 1 seed, i can attest. Poor yield due to user-error. Fairly dense nugs, but nothing extraordinary in this regard. Smell - Blueberry / Fruity is the consensus. Further confirmed as it dries without relying on the professional nose. Taste - Creamy-blueberry taste that is really exploding after just 14 days. Still improving, but it's already incredibly tasty and smooth -- a hint of pine is still subsiding. Potency - Nice and strong. Based on how it looked, i expected a bit more. A good heady buzz for certain. Very little couchlock, but may need to write down some notes, if doing anything but mundane tasks. Definitely need to put effort into paying attention after smoking this bud. Donor plant was regenerated successfully and will likely grow this again, but possibly not until Dec-Jan. I like this one so much, i'll let it cure for at least another 2-3 weeks before cracking it open. --------Daily drying notes and ramblings, includes last vege day notes.... 90 / 56 Days - Okay, I don’t know if I can wait anymore and the space is needed. Top colas show a lot of amber. Much more than I typically see. The plant isn’t drinking much. I consider that a bad sign. If someone knows differently, please enlighten me. I like learning that sort of detail. 91 / 57 Days - Harvest 91 / 0 Days - Chop in AM after 57 days of 12-12 cycles. Also, 0 days of drying. It was an incredibly fast harvest compared to others. Seven stalks to trim and done. No larf, as I over-lollipopped. The results were surprisingly okay despite that fact. Because of the over-aggressive lollipop, it’s 100% top-shelf nug with no bullshit buds and nothing for the hash bag in freezer. I’ll go out on a limb and say 50g. If I average 7g from each cola (lumber will be removed when weighed), that’s ~50g. They look big enough and dense enough to clear that, but it doesn’t look like 2 oz. Hope to be surprised, as I inherently try to underestimate a bit. Smells a lot like previous GG-hybrid strain as it gets chopped up. Scissor hash was quite mellow. Since it was mostly all 1 contiguous cola at top or solid nug slightly spaced out, I left it all on the limb for drying. Based on droop of that level, it has more mass than I think. Still some water in reservoir, so it was fully hydrated. No stems are appropriately sized for the snap test. If I’m smart, I’ll take a branch out and weigh it for a better idea on how much water has evaporated over time…. Nah, I’m not smart, I’ll just wing it. 92 / 1 Days - The two little nugs I accidentally snipped off the limb are on a fast-track dry of 2-3 days (on parchment paper on top of me stereo’s amp or in jar to even out, rinse and repeat). The rest is just sitting in the mesh rack, and I am airing out that tight space couple times per day. Hoping to push 7-9 days drying with large limb attached. Rotated after 24 hours or more. 93 / 2 Days - fast-track nuglets are done. May even need 30-60mins in a small jar with a boveda pack. Not enough for a respectable joint by my measure. Fairly tight nugs. Not much leaf. The smell was ruined, so won’t comment on that. Potency report sometime today, no rush. 94 / 3 Days - Getting there.. Rotating each 24 hours, since it’s only 7 stems. Still soft to touch. 95 / 4 Days - Rotated in AM. Forgot yesterday. Marijuana affects short-term memory… Progressively slower drying rate than before. 96 / 5 Days - nug with notch in stem weighed at 8.72g. They all feel quite light this morning. Drying weed this summer is drastically different from last and I cannot figure out why. While it was a bit warm the first 24 hours, it’s been low 70s F since and ~50%RH. I’ll weight that nug again in 12 hours and if no change in weight, tossing in jars with humidity control pakcs… need to run the dishwasher, first… This is going to be a pitiful yield, but embarrassment aside it is decent quality and I certainly won’t make the same mistake again - etched into granite. I no longer suspect the seeds got switched. The listed flower time of 55-60 is shorter on the GB, and upon chopping it down, the top 1” is a bit reddish/purpelish, but the rest look like the picture from Advanced Seeds. Think it is most noticeable in picture with full bud next to the snips. I guess I overfed or lights too close? Have to google a bit. Maybe, an odd comment below could help, too. PM -- 8.52grams. Still losing a bit of weight. See the weight tomorrow, and so she goes… I will test some tonight. If it snapps off easily from large stem, I’ll jar tonight. 96 / 6 Days - Cola lost another .29 grams -- 8.23 grams. Did not smoke last night, but attempted to pull a lower bud off and it only bent. So, waiting longer… If I hit 50g I’m going to be absolutely ecstatic, lol. Well, 2 little scrap nugs I cut off today were 1.8 g. Rolled a little 1g half-blunt and I’m nice and stoned. a head-high for certain… Definitely too much moisture in the nugs, but smoked fine with a hemp wrap. A zig zag would be a different story and borderline whether it’d remain lit. Much more impressed by the buzz today than the little fast tracked bits. After breaking it up, there was a spicy smell, but couldn’t place it. I’ll hammer it out eventually. Taste is still a bit early to tell. At the least, it was not harsh. 98 / 7 days - Twig broke off in morning. Down to about 7.9g on the one drumstick. Tossed in jar. Weight was ~47.xx, but I had to snip off a couple things… if it’s roughly the same weight tomorrow, it’s good enough. I think it’ll gain a small fraction of a gram, which is fine. I’ll work on getting that closer over time. 54Oz jar with (2) 8g 2-way 58% RH packs. The environment will be consistent. 99 / 8 Days - Weighed in AM. Okay, getting better at this. I used to jar too early each time. The last two times I was negligibly late, if splitting hairs. These gained a fraction of a gram after 24 hours (found the 2 of 4 bits i cut off and it was already original weight, so gained a bit). Jar was burped after 12 hours too. So, drying is done after 7 days - hit my goal of slowing it down. As winter approaches I’ll have to slow it down further in 35% RH environment with furnace on. 100 / 9 - Burping each day AM/PM. More odor, but can’t place it yet. Within 12 days we’ll finish this up. A professional nose was enlisted and they said blueberry. So, blueberry, herb or spicy, herb, blueberry. I don’t taste blueberry, but they are insistent of flavor too. Strong, heady buzz. Still smooth in 2 different brands of hemp wraps. Looks just like the Advanced Seeds picture. That nice green with the stigma highlights. Give this a little more time to simmer, but its taste and smell are known at this point. After an hour, a healthy half-blunt still has me baked with no end in sight. That’s quite an accomplishment given the amount of bubble hash I’ve been smoking since July. None was placed on this particular blunt. 101 / 10 - 22 in binary! Still burping 2x for first week in jars. Smell is much stronger of late. 102 / 11 - Miss binary already. SSDD. Final pictures today
