Noob does " The Trial & Error Way"

JeanMarie Hi All, Never ever tried to grow but tomatoes, chilis and kitchen herbs in a greenhouse. Due to Corona i decided to give it a CNNBS try but on a budget! Been reading and watching You-tube for a couple of weeks, info is overwhelming, also when checking some forums (Fora) regulars like to bash on newbies or each other so i decided not to ask questions or comment cause of the bad vibes. Did know sh*t, so i just started with no expectations and maybe i should change the title above in " The Trial & Error Way or Rinse Repeat" lol. April 25/4 = first attempt using a propagator = 3 out of 5 11/5 = Coffee filter methode = 2 out of 2 (Frisian & Silver) 13/5 = Coffee filter = 3 out of 7 (Huismerk Wietzaadjes.nl) are crap! 02/6 = Coffee filter = 6 out of 6 (Green House Seeds) Wow Conclusion: -Do buy good seeds, use Coffee filter, hang in dry, dark and warm area, leave them alone, let nature decide! -After germinating do not overwater, plant deep enough so helmets wear off in a transparant half liter pot or in smallest 1l Air-pot so one can c the roots, -When seeing roots reaching bottom = transplant in final pot. -Give enough light/Sun so they don't stretch.

JeanMarie Hi All, We got a lot of Sun end of April & May. -Silver (SH1) & Frisians (FR1-2) are in Cups growing fast in front of the window or even outside, i used diy poles to protect against the wind, next time i will use cut in half plastic bottles to slide over the seedlings. -Silver (SH3) & Frisian Duck (FR2) got the same regime. -The 3 out of 7 Auto's from sh*t company Wietzaadjes.nl that came out are also getting the same regime. -Made a DIY growbox so ladies are sleeping indoor under a light at night, they got at least 18h of light. Remarks: -Use a timer to automate light schedule. -Do not fiddle with your plants, accidents happen! -Don't overwater. -Paint black pots white in order to avoid cooking the roots. -Be patient.

JeanMarie Week 3: SH 1 & FR1-2 are getting bigger fast will transplant next week Auto's from = slow grow: They come from Wietzaadjes.nl, will tell this sad story later on. H2 - FR 3 got broken stems due to have added hydro pebbles on the surface, wind scratched the stems against the pebbles so it weakend & broke/bend. Tried to rescue them with tape/support - after 10 days only SH2 survived. 6 Green House seeds are 8 days old, Franco Lemon Cheese (FLC), Holy Punch (HP), 2x Super Lemon Haze (SLH1-SLH2) & King Kush (KK1-KK2) are growing faster in outdoor light than LED in the growbox.
