Thalps First grow think it's going ok plant seems happy enough but I'm no expert
Update : seems to be chillin and doin its thing
Update : changing lighting to 20h
For growing autos I've had best success at 20 hours of light. 16 hours indoors doesnt even really meet indoor photoperiod veg standards. I found plants under 20 hour light cycles finished a touch faster with notable increase to yield. Plants on 24 light never got better than the 20 hour plants but suffered ailments at a higher frequency. They need lights off hours. I'd say ur best bet is change to 20 hours
Hey so, I'm assuming my dudes lookin kinda frail from overwatering or something but it being my first grow I'm not to sure could someone tell me what's gwarnin with it.
Definitely a moisture issue. Looks to be overwatering as u assumed. Make sure to allow the medium to dry before watering. A good wet to dry cycle is key in healthy growth. Feel the weight of u pot now that is full. Use weight to determine how much water is left. Encoupled with a finger test to see how moist the top 2 inches of the soil is. You want that top 2 inches dry. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
Thalps Plant seems to be recovering from a brief period of overwatering hopefully watering every other day will keep that under control aswell.

Thalps Low stress training has begun however after a few days a drainage issue was spotted where water was sitting in the bottom of the pot and would not drain off. After moving it to a new pot with extra medium he looked weak but after a couple days he seemed to have bounced back and here we are now

Thalps Plant seems to be on the right path. Counted either 8 or 9 flower sites so I might even get a bit of smoke off it ;)

Thalps plant has been enjoying the heat (more so than i) and has also shed a few leaves from the bottom part of the stem however this seems normal enough

Thalps This week has been fairly chill. Had a couple unwanted moths trying to vibe on my lights but hey, you can't blame em I guess.
Watering has been fairly frequent but no real jump in intake of water.
Not 100% sure when I should start the flush but will most likely make a grow question thingy about it in the near future.
Other than those minor things the plant has been doing fine!

Thalps Plant is big chillin, going away for a few days so I've given it a good once over 😤
Hey all, im coming to the end of my first grow and im not entirely sure how far off harvest I am with it. if anyone has any pointers or tips for telling id love to know!!
Included are a couple closeups of some of the main bud sites and a pic of the whole plant for reference :)
Hi! Best way to tell when to harvest is to grab a powerful magnifier and look at the trichomes. (60X is good, you can get little microscopes that have lights on them which is what I use.)
An immature trichome will look seethrough, like water.
A mature (and full of thc) trichome will look 'milky'
And a trichome that's passed that stage will start to look amber.
The more amber you have the more 'couch lock' your weed will feel like. Most people want as many milky as possible with few amber.
I personally like that 'couch lock' feel so I prefer a few amber trichs, say 10-20%
Here's a link to a pic that shows the stages:

Thalps this week has been a little hair raising, i was chdckin up on the plant at the start of the week and noticed a couple leaves where lighter than others but thought nothing of it as the plant is coming to the end of its life anyways, however I didnt look at the plant the next day and now here we are with something going on. I cant work out whether its burn from the lights or some kind of deficiency so its gonna have to go in another grow question.
Other than that the plant has been going along as ever
hi guys, snapped a couple photos of this while I was checkin on the plant this morning but I cant tell whether the plant is being burnt by the lights or its deficient in something, the affected area is 99% in the top leaves however a couple of lower ones are also looking sad.
could proberly have thrived on a PK boost a week ago or so. dont think u should do anything this close to harvest but just see it as end of life cyckle
