Bob had an issue with a white fluff growing - research to be a mold, method of fighting 1-9 ratio of milk to water and spray the plant (I took them out of germinating kit and buried the fungus while spraying the plant). I am also very confused with watering amount between week 1 and 3, with many videos varying from a rather big amount to a tiny amount with a spray bottle (I did research that it is better to dry your plants than overwater them however, so I will go down with water levels and spray rather than pour for now). I also had to remove the shell from 2 out of 3 plants due to upside-down grow and seed stuck to the plant preventing it from opening. (I did not prepared the germinating seed properly after my first time using it which I believe is the reason for my issues, I had to scrap 3 seeds due to soil not being delivered for another week, and seeds getting out of control). Finally I hope to have some people watch over the diary and give some tips when required :) P.S. the bags are 20l but they are not full, as I was looking for 15l to begin with.

How much water is required for around 20l pot bags (around 17l full with 3 parts compost [NPK 12-14-24], 3 parts peat moss, 2 parts pearlite, 1 part vermiculture) per 24h in the first weeks (1-3)? Thank you

Hi there! Basically the soil needs to be wet around the root area. So you don't need to give that much during first weeks and if you wet the whole 20l bag most of the water will just evaporate in to the air 'cos the roots cant drink all of it. Maybe ~0.5l would be a good to start with or even less. If the soil feels dry after this ofc you can give more but just dont over do it. Perlite helps aerate the soil so overwatering is not so easy to do but vermiculite holds moisture so yuou dont need to add trhat much water.

@Growingkitten, is that what they are called? haha... yeah the material pots, I read that it is harder to overwater and good for roots (and I am not best at watering I guess). I think the whole setup is good apart from the lamp, as it is one of those Chinese eBay lights that I found before learning about them, advertised as 3000w so i was hoping for 300 but in reality its 100w. I don't want to burn the plant nor make them stretch forever. I check other diaries and feed myself ideas that my plants stretch too much :P
