Why are my bigger fan leaves curling? Don't think is heat stress or overwatering. Maybe my PH was a little higher for few days like 6.3 6.5 . What do you guys think it might be pleae refer to last pic in week 3 of my diary.

They could be lacking in moisture in the air. What is your rh? Important to keep cannabis humid through vegetave stage, get yourself a little humidifier.

Hi there! Do you know what is your humidity in growing area? I think your VPD might be off and it is temperature to humidity ratio. So if you have 29C you should have something like 70-80% RH for optimum vpd for this stage of growth

Thank you for the reply guys , I think I found the answer. Also I had one more question. I wanted to grow a few plants in a small area. What is the minimum veg period suggested. Also for pheno types how early can we shift them to flowering?

Hello @Growmore !! How are you? There isn't really a time for veg. Some people start from seed straight with the flowering schedule, so you can get faster yields. Remember that the shorter period you veg your plant, smaller she'll eventually be, it's almost proportional. Also the size of the pot. Back to your question, in smaller areas it's always preferable to have lower veg periods, otherwise it'll be very hard to manage the space and growth. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. cheers

Hey there growers , I wanted to know what is the max light cycle you can gube to your plants after the are flipped to flowering at 12/12. Like after completing flipping them for 12/12 for say 10 days can we increase the light cycle to 14/10 or 16/8 to increase yields.?

Thank you for the replies! I got the answer .. also does the plant need exaxtly 12/ 12 continually? Like we have power cuts in the rainy season, will it get stressed if I give them less then 12 hours a day.?

NO! you will stress your plants out and cause them to either go back into vegging or they will grow hermies and be full of seeds. Increasing the light hours will not increase yields. Added co2, training method used, strain type, nutrient schedule, VPD charts, minimum stress & top range grow lights. This will all help to increase yields.😇

Increasing ur light hours after getting a plant to flower in 12/12 would result in stress and hermie or a reveg depending on how much u increase the time... and for how long. Some varieties will start to flower in 13-14 hours light and will be safe to run on that cycle because of it. A SAFE way to find out if u have said variety is slowly lower your hour of light till u hit 14 hours. Give her a week at 14 hours cycle. Does she start to stretch and transition to flower if so ur safe to leave er there. Good luck happy growing and stay lit fam.

Hey guys week 5 of grow , they are reacting to the training well. Is this a right time to flower them and get decent yields., I have 4 more growing along these 2 which are like 10 days younger. So I'm restricted with space. Will they give me 4oz each?

How big is your grow space ? Your ladies are looking pretty healthy by the way 👌🏾. Your plant will double or triple in size once flipped . So if height is a problem then it will be wise to filp if not let them stretch a bit longer 👍🏾

Hey growers its week 6 and I have switched to flowering mode. It's rainy season here , and we are having some power cuts. I have set the timer for 12-12 , but due to cuts some days chances of receiving like 2-3 hours less. Will it be an issue if I give them less than 12 hrs?

You could always run a lantern or 2 through the times without power. Couple hours here and there wont hurt but you dont want it happening every day. Cheers

@Growmore, that's why I always say those accounts are nothing but like-hunting fake ones. They don't even bother replying and helping. That upwards curling is usually high temps and low humidity.Problem seemed too little at week 3,I see you still have very little upward curlings but nothing to care about, they look very healthy. High temps and very low humidity is the enemy of this plant. Sometimes you don't have chance to get humidity up or make temps drop, just water more frequently, especially you are in coco.it tends to dry out faster
